Chapter 44. - Asing-

Marquez's men have traced the sea, but there is no sign of Alena and Arga. They continued searching until midnight.

As Marquez's feelings grew increasingly uneasy, he decided to call Sean first to find out the info.

"Hallo sir?"

Sean opened the conversation, but his voice was terrified.

"What about my sister?"

Marquez asked curiously. Sean gulped his saliva and tried to calm himself down.

"Not found by sir. But take it easy, I'll keep trying to find Young Miss."

Sean replied with a voice that was getting louder. Marquez clutched his phone even stronger.

"What did you say..."

Marquez now said in his flat voice. Sean again swallowed his saliva with great difficulty.

"Lord, you go home first, leave everything to me."

Sean persuaded, Marquez scrunched his forehead then without warning he disconnected the phone.

Meanwhile, Sean with his restless face looked at that vast sea. He took a long breath.

"Miss, where are you really? Please don't make it harder on me."

Sean was still busy looking for it. Sean's gaze was diverted to a large, dense island with trees.

"Is it possible if the lady is on the island!? But no way, the island is strictly off limits."
