The Twin Sons the Ruler

The Twin Sons the Ruler
Because you are my papa!

If usually the day of birth is greeted with happiness by the person concerned, but different case with Ardan. The existence of happiness is not at all visible on the face of a handsome man who today even aged 35 years.

Ardan woke up from his sluggish sleep, and went to the bathroom, to clean his body. For the past two months, Ardan has been feeling lazy to stretch his muscles on the balcony of his room, because the beautiful scenery he always sees from the direction of the pavilion that Amanda and her son occupy, does not exist.

After 30 minutes, Ardan came out of the bathroom, and immediately changed clothes with a black t-shirt top and a pair of jeans, because today happened to be the weekend and he plans to visit the hospital alone today.

"Happy birthday, mama's son who doesn't sell!" exclaimed Amara, the woman who had given birth to Ardan with a sparkling face, when Ardan had just opened the door of his room.

"Haish, Mommy! I'm not a child anymore, why use the love of surprise all," response Ardan, instead of making mama Amara pout, just further develop his smile.

"As long as you're not married, you're still a child to make, Mama." Amara pinched Ardan's cheek with anxiety. While Ardan only snorted, with a bent face. Then Ardan swung his legs, walking down the stairs, followed by Amara from behind.

"It just so happens that today, my mother is also very happy, because according to the agreement, my son will end his bachelorhood at the age of 35 years. Wih, mama can't wait to have a daughter-in-law, just imagine it has made mama happy, especially if it happens, mama's happiness must be doubled!" Amara still chattered happily, not caring about the sour face her son showed.

"I'll say yes, Ma. I'm going to the hospital first, looking at Anin. Ardan will have breakfast outside." Ardan swung his steps, walking to get out of the house.

"You want to look at Anin, or you want to see Amanda?" chirped the voice of a man from behind the sofa that made Ardan step suddenly stopped.

Ardan turned his body back, staring at the man who was a hero to him and his family, who else if not Rudi, his papa

"What the hell, Pah? I want to see Anin!" rebut Ardan.

"Look at Anin, you see Amanda, right?" Rudi remained adamant, believing his conjecture.

"Whatever you want to say, now Ardan wants to go first. Ardan said yes, Pa."

"We don't go yet! you sit down first, there is papa and mama want to talk about." said Rudi while pointing at the sofa in front of him.

Ardan who was about to continue his steps stopped instantly. Ardan sighed, wanting to refuse but just like him, his papa also did not like the name rejection. Finally, with a shunt step Ardan stepped back towards the sofa and landed his body, at the spot designated by Rudi.

"Mom and Dad just want to demand your promise. If you're going to accept whoever we're going to match you with, if you haven't found a woman who can make you fall in love. So, are you ready to fulfill your promise?" Rudi who did not like pleasantries immediately spoke to the core, and Ardan had expected before, that papa and his mother would definitely talk about this.

Ardan was silent for a moment, breathing in and thinking about what to answer his papa's question. Ardan closed his eyes at a glance, after which he exhaled into the air with a long enough gust.

"Hmm, Ma, Pa, Ardan wants to come clean now. I hope that Papa and Mama can accept well what I'm going to talk about. Actually ... I've actually found a woman who can make me fall in love. At first I wasn't sure I was in love with her. But now I'm absolutely sure of the feelings I have. I___"

"Is that woman Amanda?" Rudi immediately interrupted Ardan's words, with eyes staring intently at Ardan.

"How, can you tell?" the tail of Ardan's eyes rose upwards, staring suspiciously at his papa.

"You're our son, so all your gestures, the way you treat Amanda, we can tell you you have more feelings and you can't have them." Amara opened her voice in response to Ardan.

"So, do you and mom agree that Amanda's the daughter-in-law in this house?" asked Ardan with a hopeful look.

"No!" sahut Rudi, straightforward and firm.

"But why, Pa? is it because she's a widow and already has a child?" ardan's voice began to rise.

"Yes! Papa and Mama don't mind if you marry any woman, but not a widow. You will just get married at an age more than mature, and it turns out that you are married also a widow, do you think it is good for the reputation of the company? You'll be the subject of people. Not only you, mama and papa will also be affected by the gossip of people." explained Amara at length without pause.

"But why did mom and dad suddenly have to care about people's words? what difference does it make, I married a commoner with a widow? after all, the end result will also be the material of gossip people, right?" ardan's voice was heard protesting the reason expressed by his mother.

"For mama and papa remain different." this time Rudi who spoke.

"For me it makes no difference at all, but there are similarities. 'Sama-sama will disappear over time'. We just need to thicken our ears. Can't it be that people talk about it all the time?" said Ardan straightforwardly.

"So, you want to keep Amanda your wife?" amara asked, confirmed and answered with a definite nod without hesitation from Ardan.

"All right!

"So Papa and Mama agreed?" insist Ardan, make sure.

"We did say okay, but there are consequences you should accept. You may make Amanda your wife, but you must be willing to lose your inheritance as heir to the Bagaskara company."

The words that had just come out of the mouth of Rudi papa, very surprising, like the presence of lightning in the scorching heat, without rain and wind.

"If that's what Papa and Mama want, okay, Ardan take it! Ardan doesn't care that Ardan will lose this luxury."

Rudi and Amara looked at each other and only they were alone who understood the meaning of the gaze seen in the beads of their eyes.

"You don't care, do you think Amanda doesn't care? Papa was sure that Amanda would definitely prefer not to marry you, rather than having to lose a donor for her daughter's treatment." the corner of Rudi's lips, drawn upwards, formed a cynical smile.

Ardan stood with his hands clenched tightly. The horn looks already down and up trying to hold the anger that has reached the crown.

"Don't tell me, Papa and Mama will also stop Anin's medical expenses, if you stay determined to marry Amanda?"

"Smart! you finally understood by the meaning of mama and papa. So now all the decisions are in your hands. Hows it? do you still want to make Amanda your wife?" rudi's tone sounded soft, but it sounded intimidating.

Ardan was silent for a while, with glaring eyes, thinking what his next action was.

"All right! I'm not marrying Amanda. But not because I'm afraid of losing inheritance rights, I just don't want papa and mama to stop Anin's medical expenses. Because I know that if I don't have anything, I can't help Anin's medical expenses, and that means Amanda won't be happy either" Ardan said, steady but sounding soft.

Brak ....

Rudi stood up while pounding the table. While Amara's lips reviewed a smile that was difficult to read, the meaning of his smile.

"Congratulations! you escaped the challenge!and suppose this, heart exercise on your birthday."

Rudi's words felt ambiguous in Ardan's ears, causing wrinkles on the handsome man's forehead.

"What do you mean, Mama and Papa?"

"We're just testing you, baby! It turns out that you really love Amanda, and are willing to sacrifice for Amanda's happiness. If you haven't found the woman you love at the age of 35, your mom and dad want to match you up with Amanda."

The answer that Amara gave, her mother made Ardan 'speechless'. But, the twinkle on his face, could not cover his happiness.

"Thank you, Ma, Pa! " Ardan stood up and went to hug his parents.

"Now you're good to go to the hospital! meet your two angels. Take Aby there!" said Rudi while patting Ardan's shoulder gently

"But, said aunt, Aby from earlier was out of the house, pah." said Amara, suing her husband.

"out? whither? isn't it Saturday? and the school's off, right?" Ardan frowned.

"Either! aunt said she was in a hurry, and she asked Mr. Joko to drive her. Aby's been acting weird lately."

"Father Ardannn!" I heard a scream from the entrance. And that voice, was the voice they had just talked about. Which makes Ardan and his parents confused, why the boy, yelling call him 'papa'. Because all this time, Aby never called him papa at all.

"Papa? why are you calling me papa?" confused, Ardan.

"Because you are my papa!" resolute Aby
