The Tragedy of the Night

Part 42's

The wind blew lightly from the east, the grasses swayed to the rhythm of the wind. Looks like humans crowded one of the largest parks in Jakarta, which every day never empty of visitors. From a distance there is a woman sitting on one of the benches in the park.

The look in his eyes could not be separated from something that was right in front of his eyes. A very perfect smile carving appears behind the cracks of the two corners of his lips. If people don't know who the girl is, they're sure to think she's a schoolboy who stopped by the park for a date.

Without the woman realizing many pairs of eyes were fixed on her, not only men who admired the perfectly created face without any defects at all, but the women also praised the beauty of the woman, so that some of them felt jealous.

The woman sat while watching the child playing in the park. The woman who is none other than Nisa did not just come alone with Gabriel. However, he came with the person he hated the most in this world, who else if not the Arsen.

Nisa raised her smile when she saw Gabriel who was laughing loosely due to the titillating attack from Arsen. He is so happy today, and perhaps today is the most beautiful day he has ever experienced. By seeing the joy Gabriel never saw at all, it was enough to make him feel what it means to be happy. If noticed they look at a glance like a small family.

Arsen was playing with Gabriel. The man ceaselessly judged the child who had been overwhelmed by the ignorance of Arsen that the child could not avoid. Arsen had all sorts of tricks to overwhelm Gabriel with his game.

But a sense of compassion appeared within the sea's blue eye bead. He could not bear to see Gabriel who was already flooded with sweat and lying on the green grass. The child looks dull, the water continues to flow out of the pores of his skin, which is marked the child can no longer continue the game they do in this park.

"Pa, Iel blush. Iel can't take it anymore." Gabriel rubbed his stomach which was painful due to the strong tickling given by Arsen. His breathing hunted irregularly, then the five-year-old boy turned his head to look at Arsen pleading.

Seeing Gabriel's gaze like that to him, made Arsen display a triumphant smile. Before long the man had a slanted smile that Gabriel could not understand.

"If Iel gives up it means you have to accept dong's law?" Tungkas Arsen reminded of their agreement at the beginning before the start of the game.

A second later the child's face turned gloomy. He thought Arsen had forgotten the covenant, and he had to smile. The boy got up from his bed and sat down on his damp ground. His gaze was so that Arsen was moved by him and would not punish him. However, Gabriel's condescending gaze did not influence Arsen at all to punish the child.

"Well, papa that's it. Judah Gabriel received any punishment as long as the sentence is not severe."

"No, the punishment is not heavy" Arsenia said, grinning.

Hearing the sentence that Arsen said made Gabriel sparkle. He looked at Arsen expectantly. While the person behind them who continued to observe the two men snorted, his gaze was haughty to Arsen so that the man did not give a strange punishment to his son.

Arsen who had glanced at Nisa and saw the deathly gaze of the woman showed off a smile that had no idea what it meant. He looked at Gabriel fixedly, then raised his finger towards his lips.

"kiss me," Arsen orders Gabriel as punishment for the boy's defeat.

But the one who felt shocked there was not Gabriel, but Nisa. Hearing Arsen's statement just made his eyes round, his heart would be a little more dislodged from its place so distrustful of what punishment his son should receive.

"No!!! No!! I don't agree. What the hell are you Arsen," angered Nisa and moved from her place wanting to prevent Gabriel from doing what the man said.

Arsen glanced at Nisa, his gaze completely reflected being underestimated by the woman. Behind her eyes was comparing whether Gabriel preferred Nisa or her. But the man hoped Gabriel would be more obedient to him.

"Gabriel don't beat up Arsen.."

"If the boy must be willing to accept any challenge so that Iel is not called a cement child later. So kiss papa or not?" Sure Arsen instigated Gabriel.

The boy seemed to think for himself. He looked at Nisa and then at Arsen. In view of it tucked a confusion, he did not know who to obey more, mother or papa? Both of them were people he truly loved. He could not have chosen one of them, for it was not a fair thing.

Amidst the darkness, his mind suddenly flashed an idea. Gabriel smiled faintly in silence, no one knew the boy was smiling. He glanced at Nisa and Arsen alternately before opening the sound.

"Mother here!!" Gabriel called Nisa to come closer.

Getting a cry from Gabriel, the woman who felt called came closer and crouched down beside the boy who was sitting on the grass.

"What's up Iel?" Ask Nisa as subtly as possible to the child.

Arsen frowned when he felt something was wrong with Gabriel. He could feel even a slight aura of suspicion on the boy. I don't know what it is, Arsen doesn't know. But that was not what he now had in mind, but where the way the boy learned to do things that were fraudulent, if his suspicions were really proven.  

"Why Gabriel?" Tanya Arsen did not understand.

"Pa! Bun! Gabriel won't kiss papa. But instead, Gabriel wants you two to kiss Gabriel."

Nisa frowned, Gabriel's request was very easy. It's fine to kiss the boy, as long as Gabriel doesn't kiss Arsen's lips. Actually it's okay because the child is still a child, but in Nisa's view it is a ridiculous thing. If on the cheek is not a problem, but this...?

"Judah mother or Arsen first kissed Iel?"

"Mother! papa is not om," said Gabriel while pursing his lips, because he did not like Nisa calling Arsen Om.

Nisa took a breath, she glanced at Arsen then looked at her son. With a heavy heart he called Arsen papa, although his mouth was very heavy to say the word.

"Yes Iel. Papa Arsen's. Is it true what you said?"

A smile was seen on Gabriel's face. He clapped his hands so happily, when he heard Nisa mention Arsen with papa, that it made him feel like he had a father.

"Already bun. If only papa Arsen was right Iel's board," the child's voice made Nisa and Arsen gasp and look at each other.

Hearing the hope from Gabriel made Nisa really feel a sense of guilt. He does not know if his actions are right, he does not want Gabriel to know that Arsen is the real father, but he also does not have the heart to lie to the child.

Arsen's eyes were so sharp that he watched Nisa's movements that looked uncomfortable after hearing Gabriel's words. He sighed for a moment, and imagined that if Nisa would tell Gabriel if she was his father, then they married and built a small family.

Why can he think so far. I don't know what happened to him to think no. Arsen grew even more upset that imagining it could unintentionally shake his chest to a great beat. Does he have heart disease or is there another problem? Until his heart was hard to calm.

With great difficulty Arsen stabilized his increasingly unruly heartbeat, calm Arsen, calm, calm. Aghh!!! Why is it so hard. I don't know if maybe he's really short-lived today.

The man looked at Gabriel smiling, he shook his head.

"Well, why don't you love."

"Can you please if the sentence is changed?"

"can't. Gabriel's agreement must follow whatever Papa tells me."

Gabriel scowled, then the boy glanced at the mother. "But later mother envied that Gabriel just kiss papa. Giaman if for example papa the same mother kissed Gabriel's cheeks but the same," his proposal interspersed with a smile.

Nisa looked at Arsen, hesitating to meet Gabriel's request, but she didn't want to upset Gabriel. Arsen nodded reassuringly at Nisa, his nether looked at Nisa as if hinting 'do it for Gabriel's happiness'.

"All right," said Nisa.

With awkwardness he brought his lips closer to Gabriel's left cheek, while Arsen on the right cheek. Gabriel smiled and closed his eyes, the plan worked. It took quite a long time for Gabriel to wait to feel the kiss he had wanted, but just a few seconds later he felt something wet on both cheeks, his hope was granted.

Thank you God. Inner Gabriel said.

Nisa quickly turned her lips away and informed her own lips. It felt really nervous to be at a point like this, moreover he had to kiss Gabriel and along with Arsen. Honestly, nothing like this ever occurred in his mind.

"Iel want some ice cream?" Ask Nisa who she used to divert the conversation, and move away from here so that awkwardness doesn't reign.

Hearing the name ice cream made Gabriel look excited. The boy quickly stood up from his seat and pulled his mother's hand towards the ice cream sales place not far from the park.

"You mother!!"

"Iel really wants to? If so Iel choose a favorite ice spout Gabriel as much, let papa who is well-trained."

"Waw if Iel can buy a lot?"

Arsen nodded.

Seeing Arsen's nod marked Yes, making Gabriel jump around, the article he had never gotten an offer as proposed by Arsen.

"Pa! Can Iel ask for one more request?"

"What's that?"

"Later to the ice cream shop, papa and mother must join hands. Let people see if papa really is Iel's father. May pa? A bun? Can ya?"

"But.." said Nisa wanted to protest.

The woman felt this was a very difficult choice. He bit his lip, how to explain to Gabriel, there is no way he would hold hands if he and Arsen did not have any relationship with the man, then what should he do?

"But we can't hold Iel's hand. God will be angry." Nisa tries to convince the boy that his strange request will not be fulfilled which could later become a sin.

"Well..so can't you?" Said Gabriel sadly, he lowered his head hiding his disappointment so that neither Arsen nor Nisa would notice.

"By the way," concluded Arsen who made Gabriel immediately turned cheerful.

"Really pa?"

"Yes." Yeah."

"Yey cool.." cried Gabriel excitedly and jumped up and down.

Not with Nisa, the woman is opposite Gabriel. He strongly disagreed with Arsen. It was nice for the man to make a decision without his consent first.

"What do you mean?" Nisa asked a little whispering and growling.

"The abbey's father."

Gabriel grabbed Nisa's hand and linked it with Arsen's.  "Don't let go of Bun."

Afterwards Gabriel walked first leading the journey.

Nisa glanced at her hand held by Arsen. Something was wrong, the man grabbed her so tightly. Until his efforts want to release their link is very difficult. He glanced at Arsen sharply.

"Remember Gabriel don't let go" Arsen recalled, then pulled Nisa away from there and walked casually towards the ice cream shop.

In the middle of their journey, suddenly there was a woman who stopped the journey to the ice cream shop led by Gabriel. In front of them right now was a woman dressed in fashionable clothes and her style looked haughty. He stood up while researching one by one the three people, and then he grinned.

"Alinta.." said Arsen.

"Wow who are they?"
