At night, Brianna was still crying in her apartment room. He continued to stare at images on social media reporting on Kenjiro and Lady Lou's grand wedding. There is no Kenjiro smile in all the pictures and video footage on some social media.

From this morning, he had to keep his tears flowing by himself. Brianna's trying to stay professional all day. But tonight when he was alone in his apartment, he could no longer hold himself back from his sadness.

Harry is a fellow Chef who joined Brianna from the beginning of a month ago.

"You're great Bree, I'm proud to be a coworker. What if we celebrated your promotion with dinner with friends in the kitchen? we will make special dishes for you." proposed Harry enthusiastically.

"Alright, but you better not wear expensive stock because I don't want my salary cut in large quantities because the party was only last night." said Brianna, then they immediately went to the kitchen after wearing their aprons.

At night Brianna and Harry with other chef friends have fun enjoying a simple party after the restaurant hours are over. Tonight they have 8 people eating the Barbeque dish they prepared together at the hotel rooftop. They throw each other candatawa, but Brianna still just smiled and as usual more silence.

"Ehem! it seemed like someone was having some hidden fun here." rebuked a voice that suddenly and instantly stopped their laughter.

Brianna as the head chef immediately stood up and walked over to the owner of the voice.

"Mr Keanu, good night." said Brianna with a smile.

"Is there anything you're going to explain to me, Bree? what are you guys doing here?" ask Keanu.

"Sorry sir, they just want to celebrate my promotion today. But all these bills on all the materials we use have all gone into my income bill sir. Everything I have informed on the purchasing section." said Brianna.

"Emmmmm... You won't invite me? What if you let me join you? tomorrow I'm gonna pull your bill tonight and get into my bill, do you agree?" keanu and Brianna asked, looking back for the approval of their friends.

Of course, no one dared to refuse Mr. Keanu, as the man was their leader in this hotel. All of Brianna's friends nodded in agreement with Keanu joining them.

"Well, tonight we're all equal, think of me as your friend, not your boss, ok?!" said Keanu stepped closer to the barbeque table and passed Brianna just like that, taking off his suit and rolling up his shirt sleeves. Brianna eventually tailed behind Keanu and helped Keanu to put his suit in a clean spot.

Tonight everyone's joined together, laughter is back at tonight's barbeque party. Brianna is grateful, she can momentarily forget the sadness of her heart yesterday because of the marriage of Kenjiro and Lady Lou.

"Let me drive you home" Keanu said as he bade his way home, leaving only Keanu, Brianna, Harry and Melinda.

"ah! no need to trouble you, Mr. Keanu. I can go home with Harry and Melinda. Where we live." said Brianna.

"Then I'll drive you three, how about it?" proposed Keanu again.

"You'll be exhausted if you take us three. We'd better take a taxi together." said Brianna again refused subtly.

"Hey Brianna Dorothy, have you forgotten who I am? I always use a private driver everywhere, so I will not be tired even if we deliver the three of you and the five others earlier. How's it?" keanu. Brianna finally smiled and shook her head, how hard it is to refuse this man.

"Okay sir, we're sorry to make you unable to go home and rest immediately." said Brianna.

"I'm not tired of Bree, I'm just having fun with you guys, don't you see how happy I was with you guys?" keanu said, Brianna just smiled and nodded her head.

The four of them finally headed to the hotel lobby. Harry and Melinda walk behind Keanu and Brianna.

"Look, they both look good." Melinda whispered to Harry.

"You're right, I think Mr. Keanu is trying to get close to Bree" Harry and Melinda said, nodding in agreement.

"Did you know? During my time working at this hotel, Mr. Keanu was never seen close to his employees. Although he was kind to his employees, but since Bree was in this hotel, Mr. Keanu even wanted to sit down to eat with us and even joke with us. It was even the first time he wanted to joke with his employees." Melinda whispered again.

"OK! Our boss is definitely approaching our boss. But Bree doesn't seem like an approachable woman." whispered Harry and Melinda again nodding her head.

"How's Ken? do you know all the area?" ask Keanu to his personal driver.

"Yes, sir, we'll take Harry and Melinda and finally Brianna, because the apartment is located in the direction of our way home." said Ken.

"All right, then what are you waiting for? we follow your route." Keanu said, then the car started to drive down the highway.

Harry and Melinda arrived at their homes. Now there are only Keanu and Brianna in the back seat of the passenger section.

Silence, silence, there is no conversation between the two. The atmosphere was suddenly awkward after Melinda got out of the car.

"So, have your parents ever called you while you're here?" keanu asked breaking the silence between them.

"Never, we're strictly forbidden to have any more contact. This one month and the next, I am a man who lives a kara." said Brianna.

"Have you ever tried to contact them?" ask Keanu again.

"No. I don't want anything bad to happen to my family if Gongzie's grandfather finds out." Brianna said.

"You can think of me and my parents as your family now" Keanu said.

"Hey.....Didn't we agree that you wouldn't call me Master if it was just the two of us outside the office? did you forget?" Keanu Protest.

"No, I'm sorry." said Brianna smilingly nodding her head.

Keanu has known Brianna since she first came to this Western country. Keanu is the only son of the hotel owner who is also a friend of his father Brianna aka Hylen. Keanu has promised to keep Brianna's origin a secret before moving to this Western country.

"Smile more often, you look so sweet when you smile" Keanu said and made Brianna instantly become misbehaved.

"Bree, what about the man you love? Did he ever look for you?" ask Keanu again

"Of course, I was required to eliminate all my personal data and also my social media, because he is an IT expert." Brianna said.

"Isn't he married? What about you now? Are you still expecting him? or have you decided to open your heart to another love?" keanu asked, but Brianna just kept quiet and chose to stare out the window beside him.

Brianna turned her head with a long sigh staring at Keanu.

"Is that how your grandfather kept the tradition of your ancestors?" keanu asked sounding goosebumps because Brianna said just now.

"The victim??? wasn't your grandfather the one who confirmed the tradition?!" keanu asked still did not understand.

There was a big secret that the grandfather of the entire extended family was hiding. Only grandma, me and my oldest brother know." said Brianna.

"How did you know?" ask Keanu.

"My oldest sister and I play with my grandmother every day, so we know." Brianna said with a big smile.

"It's so pretty that smile." Inner Keanu was stunned at Brianna's wide smile.

"All right, I've arrived. Thank you Keanu, thanks Ken. You guys be careful on the road. See you tomorrow." said Brianna then opened the door and stepped out of the car.

Keanu asks Ken to wait until Brianna enters his apartment building and then they continue their journey back to Keanu's place.
