The Tower Of Destiny

The Tower Of Destiny
Proxius - The Loss of the Cathedral

"Viole!"

Kei looked at the girl after goal, until he was sure she was the Viole he was looking for in the tower.

"Viole!" Kei called out to him again, but the girl remained silent and did not glance at him at all.

Inside the base room of Proxius, five hundred climbers stood, waiting for the next administrator to appear. Kei uses the time to approach the girl Viole suspects.

Kei patted the shoulder of the hooded girl. "Violes! I finally found you. So I don't have to play kony-games anymore"

"Sorry, who are you?"

"A-ah, sorry. I thought you were my friend. Sorry." Kei lowered his body.

The hooded girl paid no heed and left just like that. His face and body proportions are very similar to Vioel's, even to the way he walks. Holy hooch! Kei thought his journey could finally end. But it turns out he was wrong.

"Welcome to Proxius, Boys. Introduce, I'm Iliel, the main manager here. Hmm. Before we get into the next exam, I give you a chance to ask. One of the questioners."

"I!"

"Me too!"

"Pick me!"

The players enthusiastically raise their hands. Apparently, they think of some problem, or rather a desire.

"It doesn't seem fair if I choose one of you. What if luck is played again? Ah, you just need to fight each other for strength. That'sthat's all. You know nairy, don't you? Nairy is air. No matter how weak, someone inside the tower could control it. Please who would like to ask, a neat line in front of that detection tool. " Iliel pointed at a clock-like shaped object on the right.

No need to be ordered twice, more than 70 players are in line. Iliel explains the procedure, and they begin to try to control the nairy.

"20345. Yess!!" The yellow-haired man who first tried. He looks excited by the number 20 thousand and above.

"Hey, don't be happy just yet. Look mine!" Number by number kept going. One thousand, five thousand, one thousand, stop.

"Flame! Weak!" the man who had the number 20,345 gave a reverse thumbs up. While women who have lower numbers can only growl annoyed. He seems ashamed of his words.

Kei laughed a little. He did not march, because Rin took part in it. It's just free that he's following along. You will lose, better give up.

An hour just passed. Number after number popping up. Some were excited, a few minutes immediately lethargic to find something stronger. There are also those who once tried to bend their face directly. Some regret joining the nairy detection game. He knows how weak he is.

"Oh, Rin's turn!" Kei shouted enthusiastically.

While on the front side, precisely where Rin stood shuddered in shame. "Shall he scream like that? Don't we look like a supportive couple?" Rin shuddered back.

Rin brandished his hand towards the 'wall clock', full concentration. Numbers began to crawl up. "75,356" Fantastic numbers. To date, that number is the best.

Two hours ended in Rin's victory. No one has beaten his record. There is only one player left. She's the assassin girl.

Assassin girl, precisely the girl who passed the first time in the basic exam stood facing the nairy detector. Hand shuffling. Numbers began to crawl up.

The atmosphere in the room of Proxius was quiet. There was no one voice. Their eyes are wide.

"136,627! Anjirr figure what is it!"

"Well, he looks strong!"

"Don't look for him!"

Plop! Proxius' manager appeared in front of the players.

"Well, fantastic numbers! I didn't think there was a Newbie who could do it."

"Newbie?" back, the yellow-haired man asked. It seems he has a chatty nature.

"Oh, you must still be bound by the old tower rules. In recent years, they are no longer referred to as climbers. Because basically not all of them want to climb to the top. They just want to have fun in the tower. Hence, the rules were changed. They're no longer climbers, they're Newbies."

"For hunters?"

Iliel laughed loudly. "Sorry, I forgot our title. Because of that damn Beta, we're all categorized as hunters. But, those of us who have reached the top, you can call with the term Pro."

"Beta are those who enter the tower in an unusual way. Usually, the Newbies enter through an intermediary. Whether it's people, or things. But Beta just-hey, I'll just answer the winner's question!" Iliel confirmed her hair. "Then, what's your question, Newbie First?"

Looks like the assassin girl got a new nickname. Newbie First. Sounds cool.

"I don't have any questions. I'm just curious about my powers."

"What?"

"Damn it! You're throwing away our chance!"

"Then, questions can be asked by the second winner, right?" The Assassin girl replied lightly.

Newbie's eyes were on Rin. While the blue-haired man smirked proudly.

Iliel sighed.

"Just whatever. What's your question?"

"Ah, in the elementary exam just now, I finished off two 'climbers', I mean--Newbie. But why don't they come back to life in the Cathedral? According to the clue I received, they should have lived there again."

"Hmm? The cathedral? What'sthat?"

"Whatchu mean? There's no way the floor manager doesn't know anything about the cathedral. As I wish, the red gate at the end of the field is the place."

Iliel shook his head, a sign of disapproval.

"It's been hundreds of years that the cathedral hasn't worked."

Hundred years? Hasn't Tower of Destiny just been out for a few months? Oh, maybe because the time in this world and the real world is 100 times more.

"So it means--"

"That is, if you die, then your history is finished. If you kill, then you're a murderer."

"What's? No kidding! I didn't come here to give up my life!"

"Then, survive!"

Kei listened to their debate. As the old book said, the tower is the place where your life is at stake.

"If someone can't live anymore, whereas this game is about surviving by the test of risking life, what is someone who data a few daysnot, I mean a few years ago has died?"

"What do you mean, Newbie? With, silver boy. Many Newbies survive and reach higher floors, with different goals. Some people die because they failed the exam. In this tower, everything is arranged so."

Kei's hands clenched. He could not bear to hear Iliel's unsatisfactory answer. Kei advanced forward, clutching the collar of the Floor Manager's shirt.

"Don't joke! What was this tower made for? What to kill? Reduced population? Or just for the sake of the maker's pleasure?"

Iliel tried to let go of Kei's hand which was still firmly gripped. It feels like such a great nairy flow.

"Are you a-ah already, forget it. Whatever your question, go to the top. There, you can destroy anything. The tower maker, the tower itself, even the world."

"I don't need the power to destroy! I just came to look for Viole, then get out of this foul game!"

"The game?" Iliel returned laughing violently. "It looks like you're really a Beta, huh?"

"I'm not interested in your jokes at all!"

Rin straddles, approaching Kei. "Relax, Kei. We are all shocked too. Calm your mind."

Kei nodded, releasing his grip from Iliel's collar.

"Well, the question has been answered. Should we go to the next exam? More precisely, this is not a test. Except luck. You will be chosen by a natural spirit who will determine your role."

Natural spirit, role, Kei still doesn't understand at all. He looked around, hoping Rin would explain. But for free, Rin's face still looks shocked. How not, he knows the sad reality, that he has become a murderer. His body is still shaking.

"This game is called - Spirit Withdrawal!"
