The Tiny Lina Maya

The Tiny Lina Maya
Chapter 35 - I'm Just an Ordinary Woman

As Lina floated down from the cliff, she heard a voice that was on her mind.

"Warning!"

"Detecting the presence of hazards, the system initiates a self-protection program."

"....."

"Please prepare yourself. We'll do a location shift!"

When another few inches of Lina's body was about to touch the ground, she suddenly saw nothing in front of her eyes.

He closed his eyes for a moment and then opened them again, now he found himself lying in the thick snow.

The coldness that enveloped him and made him shiver, made him immediately wake up and rise up.

The first time he did, he examined his body, which turned out to be intact and unharmed in the least.

"It's really amazing, I'm still alive?!"

He still stood still while looking around, but could only see the vast white snow.

The sun was still hanging in the sky, its rays were shining, there was no warmth Lina could feel.

It will take him a long time to find the rocky mountain top.

"I didn't expect to be moved to a place so far away. It took me a lot of effort to find a way back."

Lina hugged her arms, wrinkled her neck, opened her stiff legs from the cold and started walking towards the stone mountain.

"I must return quickly, otherwise Uriel and Wiro will definitely be worried."

He's been walking for a long time. Until the sun went down, he continued walking. The distance to the rock mountains was still very far away.

Without the sun, the air temperature would be lower.

Fortunately, white snow can reflect light. Even at night, snow can still be seen.

Lina felt very cold and hungry. He can't walk anymore. He wanted to find a place to shelter from the wind and rain. He planned to continue his journey after dawn.

There was nothing to see in the forest, except trees and rocks buried by ice and snow.

It took a long time, finally Lina was able to find a small cave that she could make a place to shelter and rest.

"There's nothing in this cave. Looks like this cave is safe for me to rest."

Lina hugged his arm and sat down for a while. He realized, if his condition continued like this, he would freeze into ice.

He touched his cloth bag, inside it was a lighter, a pictorial skin made of sheepskin, some sweet fruit to satisfy his desires and a bone knife.

Lina eats sweet fruit. Instead of feeling full, he felt hungrier.

"If I knew I would fall into this kind of situation, I would definitely put more food in the bag."

He put the sweet fruit back in his bag and was ready to eat it when he couldn't help his hunger.

Lina decided to go out of the cave looking for firewood, to warm her cold body.

Not yet he stepped too far from the cave, he found an Orc lying in the snow.

"ah! Any people?" Lina muttered.

He ran in a hurry to get close to that Orc.

He is a male Orc. He was wearing a white gray robe, which looked like cotton and hemp. He had long black hair and a diamond jewel hanging on his forehead. His face is also very handsome.

"This guy's hurt?" There was a deep wound on his waist. His blood did not flow anymore because it had already frozen. The sighting of blood seen in the snow, made Lina become frightened.

Slowly, Lina tried to shake the man's shoulder, "Wake up! Are you okay?"

There was no response from the man.

Lina's heart started pounding.

"Is he dead?"

Trembling, he still braved himself, putting his finger under the man's nose.

"He's alive, but his breathing is weak."

Lina looked around. There is only one Orc here.

"If I leave him alone here, he'll definitely freeze to death."

He bit his teeth, with all his might dragging the orc, while staggering back into the cave.

The cave which was originally narrow, is now becoming increasingly narrow because of the addition of people.

"The fire's on! I can finally feel the warmth."

Then he began to pay close attention to the Orc.

He was extremely handsome, with slender eyebrows and eyes, lips thin as water, skin as pale as if without a trace of blood and long black hair dangling down his cheeks.

And the way she dressed, it did not look at all like the Orc Lina had usually seen all along.

Lina stretched out her finger and silently touched the cloth on her body.

"The clothes he wears are really like cotton and hemp, but lighter. Also feels slippery to the touch."

Judging from the Orcs he had met, the Orcs here still lived in the stone age. Their clothes were mostly sewn from animal skins, with their rough workmanship and simple style.

But this Orc man was different, clearly like coming from a place with a higher standard of living.

Not only the cloth she was wearing, but also the gems.

Lina hoped that the Orc would be able to survive, so she would probably be able to learn more from that Orc.

Without realizing it, he closed his eyes and fell asleep.

Not long after Lina fell asleep, the man suddenly woke up from his coma.

With his position still lying down, he opened his eyes and revealed his dark pupils. After his consciousness returned, his eyes quickly became sharp and cold.

"Where am I? What about the people chasing me?"

The man realized that there was someone nearby.

"Is there a little girl sleeping? She's wearing a fur skirt. His skin is very white and his face shape is very pleasant to look at. Even in the temple, I've never seen a woman as beautiful as this girl."

A cold wind suddenly blew from outside the cave and snow floated in, making Lina shiver with coldness.

Seeing he was about to wake up, the man immediately closed his eyes and went back to pretending to be in a coma.

Lina opened her eyes and looked towards the outside of the cave. He could see the snow getting thicker and higher, the flames in front of him also starting to get fainter.

He woke up from his sleep and added some wood to the fire, to add warmth within this narrow cave.

Lina walked over to the side of the injured man who was lying down and touched his forehead.

"Fortunately the fever has gone down. The ice in his wound had melted as well."

It looks like blood is seeping out. He took out a bone knife, cut a piece of cloth from the man's clothes, to bandage his re-blooded wound.

His meticulous and careful movements, made the man greatly enjoy the treatment of the girl to him.

He opened his eyes, the little girl who was now close to him, now looked even more beautiful, her skin smooth and white as milk.

Lina who was very surprised looked at him who had already opened her eyes, took a few steps back.

"You're awake!"

Seeing the little girl's bright smile, made her mood better.

He then sat looking towards Lina, but with his stiff facial expression, even if his mood was good, his face would still look cold.

"Have you saved me? Thank you." Thank you."

Lina immediately sat down nearby, and quickly pressed the man's shoulder to lie down again.

"You don't move first, the wound on your body is just bandaged, if you move a lot, your wound will open again."

The man looked at him with his black eyes and asked meaningfully, "It seems you know a lot. Are you a Shaman?"

His face was extremely handsome, but his breathing was extremely cold, especially as he stared, there was a kind of numb tension in the scalp of the person staring at him.

Lina carefully replied, "No, I'm just an ordinary woman."

"My name is Saga Bergola. What's yourname?"

"I, Lina Maya, you can call me, Lina."

"Lina..." Saga said and spelled the name, in her slow tone, feeling that the name had bewitched her. The pain was instantly swept from his heart, now replaced with a warm trace.

Lina held back her fear and asked hesitantly, "Where are you from? How did you get here? It seems like the wounds on your body are being scratched by a savage beast. The wound was very deep, seemingly pierced with a sharp weapon. Does anyone want to hurt you?"

Saga Bergola's expression remained calm and cold, "You can tell just from looking at the wound. Is it true that you are just an ordinary female Orc?"

Lina laughed softly.

She felt that Saga didn't seem to want to answer her question too much, so she closed her mouth and didn't ask any more questions.
