The Tiny Lina Maya

The Tiny Lina Maya
Chapter 3 - Scuffling, Not Sick, But Feeling Tingly

In fact, most of the Orcs had never seen fire.

The animals instinctively feared fire, even after they had evolved into Orcs, they still had a natural feeling of being afraid of fire.

Uriel was one of the few Orcs who had seen fire, also already seeing with his own eyes the destructive power of the terrifying fire.

He looked into the little girl's eyes.

"Should we use fire?"

Lina nodded her head.

"Yes, of course."

Uriel had no choice but to find where the fire was.

"Then I will take you with me to find fire."

"Can't you make a fire out of wood?" Ask Lina.

"Making fire out of wood? How's it?" Uriel asked with a puzzled expression.

Lina searched and found two wooden twigs, and held one twig in both hands, then she stuck it to the other twig on the ground, then he began twirling the wooden twigs he held in both hands, making a drill-like motion to make a fire with a rapid movement.

However, after rubbing the wooden twigs for a long time, until his palm looked a little scuffed, but he still could not produce the slightest spark.

Of course it made Lina upset. He threw down the twig he was holding while complaining.

"Huh! It failed! I've been fooled by the shows on television!"

Looking at Lina's reddened palm, Uriel could not stand still. He grabbed Lina's palm then licked that palm affectionately.

"Not to continue anymore. I'll take you along to find fire." Uriel.

Lina's slightly scuffed hand was still licked gently by Uriel. He did not feel any pain, but instead felt an amused feeling tickling in his palm.

He pulled back his hand in embarrassment, and asked him, "Aren't you going to the Wolf tribe?"

While enjoying the sweet taste of the little girl who was still supreme and felt on her tongue, Uriel said, "Of course so. We go to the Wolf tribe first and look for the Shaman to examine you, after which I will take you to look for fire."

Immediately Lina then said, "I don't need to go to the Shaman. I'm not sick."

"If you're not sick, then why did you suddenly faint?" Uriel asked a little curiously.

Hearing that, Lina was at a loss as to what to answer. He couldn't possibly say that he was shocked and frightened because of that man right?

Suddenly, Uriel hugged him.

"Don't be afraid. Let the Shaman examine you. No matter if you are sick or not, you are my woman. I will take care of you all my life."

Hearing that sentence, instantly stunned Lina.

Both of Lina's parents died when she was a child, after which she stayed at her uncle's house. Although his uncle's family had never abused him, but they didn't care much about him either.

When she was sick, no one would accompany her, she could only curl up hiding in the blanket, holding a picture of her parents while silently crying.

The lack of close and intense kinship has made him sensitive and inferior.

He thought that he would never get the love of others, and was destined to live and die alone.

Uriel's words just now were the warmest words he had ever heard in his life.

No one ever hugged her, and said that she would always look after her.

To him, Uriel was the first.

Lina wanted to push Uriel away, but she finally could not let go of the warmth she was currently feeling.

Slowly his hand went down, and let Uriel embrace him.

............

Uriel eats the boar's flesh clean, then transforms himself back into a white tiger, and carries Lina up on his back to continue their journey.

Along the way, Lina noticed there were some wild animals on the way, but Uriel was not interested in this prey, because her stomach was full.

He intended to ignore the beasts, and continue on his way.

At that moment, Lina remembered the task that had appeared in her mind. For a moment he hesitated, in the end he chose to venture to talk to Uriel.

"Uriel'S.. May I ask you to find me two more skins?" Lina asked with a bit of hesitation.

"For my little girl's request, even if you tell me to descend into a deep abyss I will do without hesitation." Answer Uriel quickly.

He then began slaughtering five wild animals one after another that he had encountered along his journey. The skin of each animal was carefully peeled by it and then washed, and handed over to her little girl.

Excited, Uriel looked at her little girl who was holding onto the beast's skin. Then he asked in a warm voice, "Is this enough? Otherwise, I'll hunt some more animals for you."

Lina quickly shook her head.

"No need, these skins are enough."

He saw bloodstains on Uriel's face. And there were also wounds on his arms and body that were accidentally scratched by a savage beast while hunting. He felt touched and guilty.

Lina stretched out her hand, and wiped the blood on Uriel's face.

This was the first time the little girl had touched him. Uriel was so happy that she couldn't help but hug him while rubbing the little girl's hair.

"You're my woman, I'll do anything for you, you don't have to thank me."

The white tiger seemed to really like to hug his little girl.

At first, Lina was a little embarrassed. But lately, he's getting used to it.

Lina then pushed on Uriel's chest.

"Cleanse yourself. Your body smells of blood."

Five wild animals were slaughtered in a row which of course made Uriel give off a strong smell of blood.

But there was no water around, so Uriel only used a few clean leaves to scrub her body.

At this moment, Lina was listening to the voice that was on her mind.

"Ting Tong!"

"You've collected quite a lot of skin."

"Startner's task has been completed and confirmed."

"You get a gift in the form of a beginner bag. Please check it out!"

Then, a cloth bag suddenly appeared in Lina's hand.

Carefully Lina opened the cloth bag. There was a wooden stick with an indentation as big as a thumb in it that was hollow. When he opens the lid, "Ah.. It's a lighters' fire."

Seeing the tools to start the fire, Lina was very happy.

In addition to the wood lighters, there was also a sheet of sheepskin pictured inside the cloth bag.

On the cover are a few words.

"One of the complete picture books about ancient animals and plants."

Lina started to open the sheepskin and looked at it. He saw there were many features and functions of animals and plants in the pictures.

"This is a very useful item!" Mumbled Lina.

With that, Lina will be able to distinguish which plants can be used as medicine, and which plants can be cooked. This will help her life in this world.

Carefully Lina kept her pictorial skin and lighters back into the cloth bag.

When Uriel finished cleaning the blood on her body, and returned to meet her little girl, she saw a small cloth bag on her back.

It seemed that the little girl looked afraid that Uriel would ask about the origin of the small bag, then her eyes dodged Uriel's gaze.

Uriel could not help but smile.

"It seems that this little girl has a secret!"

But that was no problem for him. After being together for a long time, he would definitely unlock all of his secrets.

Uriel turned back into a Tiger, and carried her little girl on her back.

The Wolf Tribe was the Orc with the largest group in the area they would visit.

They are not only large in number, but they are also very good at hunting in groups. Their compact and powerful attack ability was able to frighten other Orcs.

The Stone Wolf Tribe was on the hillside of Mount Batu.

The terrain on the mountain was complicated and it was easy to get lost, if people unfamiliar with the location tried to enter.

There was an open area at the foot of the mountain. Every ten days, the Stone Wolf tribe would open a market in that area. The Orcs around would also come up with their own goods, to be exchanged for what they needed.

It just so happens that today is the day that the market will open. Many Orcs gathered at the foot of the mountain. Everyone was shopping for stuff. This place looks very crowded.

Uriel changed back to her Orc form. He helped Lina to hold tightly onto the beast's skin.

His entire body was covered with beast skin, only half of his face could be seen.

Then Uriel said to him, "Wait, you must always be by my side, never go around alone. There are many evil Orcs in this market. If they find out you're a woman, they'll take you away and sell you."

Hearing that, Lina's eyes blinked.

"It sounds like human trafficking."

"Human trafficking?" Ask Uriel.

Lina sighed then explained.

"They are a bunch of bad guys, who perpetrate the kidnapping and trafficking of women and children."

"Yes, the bad guys are traders. You have to be careful. You can't get away from me even if it's only half a step, remember?" Uriel.

Seeing Uriel's serious look, Lina followed him carefully.

"Yes, I'll remember."
