The Three In One Transmigration

The Three In One Transmigration
#40 - Crying Lady's

(Owain Renesphere)

One day after the monster's purge, Count Renesphere receives a letter from Neverhive's village chief, Aaron. Or rather, it was Olivia who received the letter from her father.

“Hmmm, letter from Norton?” Count Owain Renesphere asked as he received a letter from a servant in his study. “For Olivia from her father?” ask him again.

“Ah, then please let me deliver the letter, My Lord,” said the waiter.

“No need, let me just,” Owain said.

He got out of the study and started walking towards Olivia's room. While walking, he continued to knock the letter into the palm of the other hand.

“Tumben Once their father sent the letter, usually the boy who sent the letter,” Owain said with his calm face while continuing to walk with his earthquake body. “Yaa .. usually ludicrous romantic letters sent by him, kiihhkkk, somehow I became more upset,” he added with his expression that turned into a furious face.

After that, when he arrived in Olivia's room, it was seen in the room there were a lot of luxury items as if someone had tried their hardest to please someone in the room. From golden candle holders to silk robes adorned with ornaments of pearls and precious stones are all neatly displayed in the room. The bedroom furniture also looks so luxurious. But in the midst of luxury in the room, there are also iron bars on each window.

Meanwhile, on top of the bed, a woman lay on her side and covered with a moody expression inside her thin white negligee. With his golden hair and motley body, he lay looking helpless while a chain was seen from under his blanket. And that woman is Olivia.

(Olivia (Norton) Renesphere)

“My wife, your father has sent you a letter,” Owain said in a soft tone, and began to approach Olivia. “This is the letter,” he continued giving the letter.

Olivia remained lying on her side and did not answer, but still grabbed the letter reluctantly. He began reading the front of the letter. Then, when he saw his father's name, he almost squeezed the letter.

“Open it first and read it, times it matters,” Owain said starting to sit on the edge of the bed.

As the envelope opened, Olivia began to read it.

“Hiks hiks,” suddenly tears olivia flow as she squeezes the letter.

Owain who witnessed that was curious and immediately snatched the letter.

“Don't—” says Olivia wants to retake.

But Owain who stood up quickly was not overtaken by Olivia who tried to get the letter back.

Olivia got up and wanted to get back to the letter, which Owain started reading.

“Oh, then, I'm really sorry,” Owain said and began to sit back and give the letter to Olivia. “Let's go to the village tomorrow.”

Olivia did not reply and just stared blankly with her cheeks wet with tears.

Owain kissed Olivia on the forehead, then stood up while lifting the blanket that covered Olivia's body. “And it seems, we should give the ointment to your ankle first before we go to the village.”

Behind the blanket, Olivia's left leg was in chains.

“I will call the waiter to give ointment to your feet,” Owain said with a flat expression.

He came out of the room and stood behind the door he had closed. Then as he stood leaning his back against the door of the room, Owain covered his mouth with his right hand to hold his big smile. While from inside the room, the hysterical sound of Olivia's cry sounded loud and heartbreaking.

***************

The funeral was held two days after Samuel's death.

In this village there is no temple or even a priest, except for some people who are considered pious by local residents. The pious man was asked to lead Samuel's funeral prayer that day.

Attended by the citizens, Samuel was buried with sorrow. Slatanis who was in the middle of the situation was present in the back row while continuing to think about his reckless deeds, as well as his feelings of empathy were very thin.

‘If it wasn't for the promise to tell Olivia about her passing, I might have gone to Gloria by now, fuhhh. Besides if I leave now, will they be suspicious of me? Especially Amy who since yesterday continues to look at me with an annoyed look despite being told by residents that Samuel died because of his own actions,’ thought Slatanis in the middle of the funeral.

“And now he instead blames the citizens he values as cowards for not helping samuel,” muttered as he looked towards the front row.

After the completion of the funeral, at night, the entourage of Count Renesphere arrived. On that night, they held a dinner while Aaron told Samuel and his village about what had happened three months ago. Slatanis was on the show with them.

“So, this Miss is a witch from an elite army who managed to defeat thousands of monsters?” Ask Owain who is sitting at the table across.

“True, she is the witch who defeated them,” Aaron confirmed.

“This incident is very unfortunate,” Owain said while Olivia sat next to him while keeping her graceful etiquette with food feeds. “I'm so sorry for the passing of your brother, my wife,” he added while kissing Olivia's right temple.

“Then let me pay this Miss,” Owain said.

“Tapi—” says Aaron restrained.

“It's okay, Mr. Norton,” Owain said smiling at him.

Slatanists who did not follow the direction of their conversation because they were too distracted could only feed food while staring at Olivia.

“Because we are two-way besan,” Owain added.

Slatanis who heard that at a glance immediately looked at Owain confused. ‘Besan two way?’ thought.

“Why are you staring at my father with such an expression?” Amy asked with a lethargic expression sitting on her left.

“Ah no, I just thought of her words about two-way besan,” Said Slatanis.

“Hah? Is it legal?” Slatanis asked in surprise.

“For so long you live where if this is all you don't know,” Amy said with a cynical look.

‘So, the reason she wanted to say that was because Olivia was her sister,’ thought Slatanis while not rubbing Amy's cynical gaze.

Moments later, the meal was over and each returned to their room to sleep, except for Olivia.

That night, as Slatanis was about to return to her room, she saw Olivia go out with a candle in her hand.

‘Hm? Where is he going?’ Slatanist wondered. ‘Ah, maybe this could be my chance to say it, seeing as he seems to be taking himself to a quiet place to be alone.’

Slatanis started following Olivia from behind while activating her [Concealment] spell.

Moments after Slatanis followed Olivia, Olivia went to Samuel's grave. When she arrived at Samuel's tomb, Olivia stood there, then sat there crying over Samuel's tomb, while the candle was simultaneously placed next to her.

Slatanis deactivates his Spell and walks towards Olivia.

“Mrs Olivia,” call Slatanis.

Olivia was a bit surprised and immediately wiped her tears while acting as if nothing had happened.

“Call me Mrs Renesphere,” says Olivia.

“Ba-well, forgive me Mrs Renesphere,” said Slatanis lowered his head.

“You what are you here for?” Ask Olivia without looking.

“I just want to convey what happened to your brother,” said Slatanis who walked closer.

For a moment there was a pause, as if Olivia was reluctant to answer.

“Bone destroyed and killed? If that's what you want to say, I already know,” Olivia said in a trembling voice holding back tears.

“No... I just want to say that, he died as a brave man. He was also the one who whispered that to me in his last breath,” Slatanis said in an unempathetic flat tone.

Then there was the sound of Olivia as she continued to wipe her tears, and began to bow to the ground.

“Mistress, let's go back inside,” Slatanis said as she approached Olivia while trying to hold her shoulder, then began to sit tight nearby.

“Hiks hiks,” Olivia as she pleased as her body began to lean against Slatanis's chest, and Slatanis spontaneously began to embrace her as she followed the atmosphere.

The crying grew louder and her tears grew louder.

Slatanis could not say anything and could only rub his back.

“I ... I never even knew .. hiks hiks .. that he often sent me letters before monsters started attacking this village,” Olivia said as she pleased in Slatanis' embrace.

Slatanis said nothing and simply rubbed Olivia's back with a soft and gentle touch.

Slatanis began removing a blanket he had previously stored in the Inventory. “Please cover yourself,” he said and immediately enveloped Olivia's back.

For a moment the blanket covered Olivia's back, accidentally the candle that was next to her was blown to death.

“Why? Hiks hiks hiks .. why can my life .. hiks hiks ... be this miserable? Hiks hiks,” cries Olivia while starting to complain about her condition.

Slatanis was still silent as he continued to rub Oliva's back with occasional hussing.

“Is there no justice for me in this world?!! Hiks hiks,” said Olivia in the middle of her crying.

Moments later, after Olivia continued to cry on Slatanis' shoulder with as much as she could, she calmed down and finally stopped crying as she began to wipe her tears.

"Thank you yes, I can be calmer with you .. and also, thanks for this blanket,” Olivia smiled.

“Happy to help you, Madam,” replied Slatanis.

Olivia shifted her body, then accidentally exposed her ankle.

Slatanis, whose night vision was active, saw clearly the blisters on Olivia's ankle.

“Mistress, what's wrong with your feet?” Slatanis asked while Olivia seemed to flinch at the moment hearing the question

“Bu-not ... nothing,” said Olivia trying to hide her ankle again.

“Mistress,” Said Slatanis while holding her hand and looking into her eyes deeply in seriousness.

Olivia fell silent as she looked back into Slatanis's earnest eyes.

“Maybe I can help you Mistress .. Then tell me,” Slatanis said.

“Ba-alright,” Olivia said with a lowered head, then let out a long sigh and began to open her voice.
