The Three In One Transmigration

The Three In One Transmigration
#24 - Slatanis and Rodrik

When the family of the King, Queen, Princess of the king, Duke Willem and Baron Edgar began to enter the palace complex, Slatanis who was still blocked by Prince Tristan was still standing there.

“Hey, why didn't you answer my question?” Tristan asked as he reached Slatanis' shoulder.

“Your Majesty,” said Roland who approached her from behind. “Let's go in,” he continued while embracing Tristan's arm.

“Alright,” nods Tristan according, and the two of them immediately walked away leaving Slatanis who seemed to stand pensive.

While walking, Roland occasionally turned his head towards Slatanis.

‘Sial, why is he here? Does he know this is me? Hopefully the prison rey time was quite dark,’ thought Slatanis and began to turn towards the Palace.

“Nona,” said Rodrik who just got off his horse.

‘Sh*t,’ Slatanis stops while reluctant to turn his head.

“Iya?” Slatanis was forced to turn her head with a forced smile as well.

“You ... ah, no no, I think you are a person I know, please forgive me,” Rodrik said and lowered his head in front of him.

“Ah-yes, sure,” reply Slatanis awkward.

Slatanis turned back and was about to walk.

“Wait,” said Rodrik and Slatanis stopped back.

“Allow me to lead you in,” Rodrik said as he provided his arm.

‘Wow, this gentleman also yes,’ thought Slatanis was stunned and stared at Rodrik.

“Ba-well,” smile Slatanis and directly put his hand on Rodrik's arm. The two of them started walking together.

While on the road to the door of the Palace, Slatanis continued to see Rodrik's face.

‘If seen closely, sweet also yes,’ thought Slatanis.

“Is there something on my face, Miss?” Ask Rodrik.

“Ah, no,” said Slatanis blushed suddenly while turning his gaze away.

‘Wow wow wow, relax Slatanis ... relax,’ thought Slatanis while looking down and trying to calm his heart. ‘Fuh it seems my mentality as Princess is still turbulent inside.’

“Can I know your name, Miss?” Ask Rodrik.

“Oh of course, my name .. Slatanis,” Slatanis said.

“Then I am Rodrik,” said Rodrik turned to him and smiled.

‘Wow ... ahem,’ thought Slatanis was stunned.

They stopped in front of the palace.

“Please, Miss,” Rodrik said.

“Hah? You're not coming in, sir?” Ask Slatanist.

“I am a knight, so I will wait outside together with other knights,” Rodrik said. “We will also build a camp in front of the complex, for the knights, soldiers and elite troops settled.”

“Alright,” says Slatanis smiling.

Slatanis let go of his hand, and Rodrik looked down at Slatanis.

‘Fuhh fortunately he did not know me, probably because I hid this horn,’ thought Slatanis looked at Rodrik's back who had started to move away.

‘Hmmm, her face, her hair even her body shape is very similar to the woman who had templar caught, is she the woman? Did I remember wrongly because it's been a long time since that incident? If so, where is the horn? Did he cut it?’ Rodrik thought in the meantime, wondering as he continued to walk towards the new camp that he was trying to build.

****************

At night in his room and Slatanis was just falling asleep.

‘Sial, I can't sleep,’ thought Slatanis the moment he woke up after having a nightmare in his sleep. ‘After I managed to escape from the temple, I even so often had nightmares about the incident in Rey prison. Honestly, at first I felt quite a trauma after that, but the feeling was long gone. But, the nightmare alone that still sometimes appears because there is a certain trigger.’

Slatanis sat down and found Raphaela and Lilith sleeping peacefully in the position that was squeezing her.

“Hmmm, was Rodrik the trigger?” Slatanis wondered.

Slatanis got off his bed and immediately took off his nightgown, then replaced it with his white divine outfit from the inventory.

“At a time like this, I should have opened my computer and played woc with an outside player whose time zone was still daytime,” Slatanis said and started to look out the window. “Without light pollution, in this world stars always look very clear and bright. Even the oval moon that I was used to seeing,” he continued while starting to walk and open the glass door that went to the balcony of his room.

“Fuhh, maybe a walk in the park will make me sleepy,” thought Slatanis.

Slatanis then jumped off the Balcony and began a walk in the gardens of the Palace.

Amidst the darkness and coldness of the night, Slatanis continues to walk through the park. It runs with lighting from the moon and candles attached to the garden lights. He could not see so clearly, because his passive [night vision] would not be active if there was still lighting other than moonlight.

Arriving near the fountain, he saw a wooden park bench. While looking around for a while, he sat down on the chair.

“Hahh~,” desau Slatanis sighs. He began to look up into the sky while continuing to look at the stars so many and varied.

He continued to sit while staring at the night sky, until finally his eyes became heavy and fell asleep in the garden chair.

********

Rodrik, who is on night patrol, is currently walking between the gardens in the front yard of the Palace while carrying a lantern with candles inside.

“If I had magic that could light the way, this would definitely be very useful,” Rodrik muttered as he continued to check every corner he passed.

‘Since the incident more than a month ago, I kept thinking about that woman. About how it fates. I know he is strong, yet alone in this world after being summoned by those pagans, must be lonely too, want how strong he is,’ he thought as he continued to patrol.

‘But after meeting Miss Slatanis, I became even more worried about her. Is he okay out there? Kuh— this empathy, already very attached as one of the codes of chivalry in my heart,’ he thought back.

He continued walking, then found a bend separated by ornamental bushes. He turned around the corner when he heard the sound of water rustling. Then just as he turned his head, he saw Slatanis with red hair and bright skin asleep on a park bench, while moonlight was radiating into his body.

‘Nona?’ Rodrik thought and started approaching.

When he arrived in front of Slatanis who was sound asleep, he immediately held his neck to check his condition.

“Fuhh, I think he is lifeless,” said Rodrik was relieved. “On this cold night, he could casually wear clothes as open as this. Really late,” he continued while removing his knight coat, then immediately enveloped Slatanis' body.

“Then, what should I do?” Rodrik muttered, and suddenly immediately sat down next to Slatanis who was sleeping. “Hahh, I don't know where the room is, and it looks like the servants have all slept as well. Besides, I also couldn't bear to wake her up. So, I better wait here.”

Time passed, and Rodrik was steadfastly sitting next to Slatanis whose position was now lying on Rodrik's thigh.

“Luckily at this time I do not use iron armor,” said Rodrik.

With Rodrik sitting for quite a while, he also occasionally looked at the face of Slatanis.

‘She's really similar once,’ Rodrik thought. ‘But, where's the horn?’

He slowly began to wipe Slatanis' hair to look at her head.

‘No ... no cutting marks as well. Hmmm, is it because of magic? Considering he could also use Mana,’ thought Rodrik was still staring and subconsciously also still stroking Slatanis' hair.

“Euugghh, help me,” suddenly Slatanis said in his sleep. “I ... I just got to this world! Why do I have to face a situation like this!? Eugh! Helpme! Anyone!”

Rodrik who witnessed it immediately acted by stroking the head and shoulders of Slatanis alternately.

“Relax ... calm down,” Rodrik said on the sidelines he tried to calm Slatanis.

‘Barusan, he said that he just got to this world? What the hell does that mean? Is she that woman?’ Thought Rodrik.

“Detach this chain! Eugg! Basic disgusting!” Slatanis said in a somewhat less clear voice.

Rodrik continued to try to calm Slatanis, until finally Slatanis was calm and back asleep.

‘Fuhhh, finally,’ thought Rodrik. ‘Slatanist? So your name is Slatanis .. and you're fine. Thank goodness,’ continued smiling.

After a while, Slatanis woke up.

“Huh? … Why am I lying in— huh?!” Slatanis Snapped and sat down for a moment to find himself asleep on Rodrik's lap.

“Oh, you have woken up,” said Rodrik with his leisure.

‘Wait, why does he seem so relaxed? And also ... This coat?’ Thought Slatanis while holding a thick blue coat that covered his body.

“You ... is ... were you here?” Slatanis asked as she turned her face away with her reddened cheeks.

‘Huwaa! Why am I being a dag dig dug like this?!!’ Shouted Slatanis in his mind.

“Ah is right. Have I made you uncomfortable? Then forgive me,” said Rodrik and want to lower his head.

“Ti-no ... not at all,” said Slatanis trying to hold Rodrik to raise his head.

‘He was here without being affected by me, he even looked after me,’ thought Slatanis was stunned looking at Rodrik who looked so sincere and steadfast waiting for Slatanis who was asleep.

“Alright then, let me take you back,” said Rodrik, standing up and directly extending his hand in front of Slatanis.

“Oh .. okay,” nods Slatanis while giving his hand.

The two of them began to walk back towards the Palace while holding hands. Then when he arrived at the door of the Palace, Rodrik again told Slatanis to enter the Palace alone. And Rodrik just left.

‘Excellent ... is this the treatment of a knight against a woman?’ Slatanis thought back stunned staring at Rodrik's back. ‘Eh wait, her coat?!’

“Wait! The coat you have not yet brought,” Slatanis ran after Rodrik.

“Ah, use it for now, you can return the coat tomorrow afternoon,” said Rodrik briefly and immediately back walking.

‘Hah?’ Slatanis looked confused.

Slatanis returned to his room with his coat.
