The Tetuka Adiwira

The Tetuka Adiwira
Hikayat Negarakrtgama Ihwal Twenty Four

With a hammer in my right hand and a crowbar in my left hand I aimed my best shot at the figure. I don't care if it's the head or the top of that person's body that's going to be my weapon's second food.

Anyone who entered into someone else's room without permission, let alone by forcibly damaging the door latch, was definitely not a good figure.

My screams did not stop, echoing in the room until my ears hurt from it. Moments before my hammer and crowbar reached it, the figure turned right to face me.

Then everything slowed down like a scene in slow motion. The man's eyes sharply pierced my eyes even though the room was only illuminated by a dim light. At that time, something truly unexpected happened.

My left leg hit a piece of object on the floor that I did not notice at all from the beginning, other than because it was dark, the figure that stood facing the window was my focus from the beginning. I stumbled and automatically lost my balance.

With my left hand I held back my fall using the crowbar I pushed to the floor, while my hammer hand was still trying to reach the figure. Even when I was falling I still forced to hit the unknown rang, even though I still had time to see his pair of burning eyes.

As I fell, I felt my hands tremble.

It turned out that the hammer I was using hit the target in a landslide!

The clash sounded loud. I can't imagine the effects as severe as what's going to happen to my fake target. I couldn't answer it because I fell to the floor. My feet fell on the floor, while my crowbar that I used held my fall slumped on the tile. My hammer was released somewhere because so strong hit that happened.

For a second I began to feel the pain in both palms of my hands due to friction with two iron bars. At that moment, my eyes turned black as a bright light forced its way into my two eyeballs.

The room light suddenly turned on.

With a flash of lightning I turned around to see what was happening as a result of this. Erika's distinctive fragrant scent was slashing my nose. The woman crouched down holding my arms and shoulders to help me stand up.

I blinked my eyes so that my vision began to adjust the light quickly.

I saw Erika's room in an unusually severe condition as it was being ransacked. Chairs, tables, even bed sheets are all messy.

In a half-lying position and had not been able to stand, I saw the look in the eyes belonged to someone who was standing firmly in front of me.

I was amazed because the figure that was clearly hit by my hammer turned out to still stand firmly in front of me without lacking anything.

However, the thing that made me more amazed was that the barking that blocked my legs and made me fall was the figure of someone lying unconscious.

I flinched and almost shouted. Immediately spontaneously I stood up, holding both of Erika's shoulders and pushing her to stand behind me.

“Do not be afraid, Mr. Country. Sorry we have to meet in such unpleasant circumstances,” said the figure in front of me.

My heart rate slowly swallowed and became normal. My breath that was originally hunting, now flows safely.

I looked at Erika's eyes. The woman smiled faintly, then nodded.

Before long, I was led by Erika sitting on a sofa that was not overturned or rolled. Erika hugged my arm. Her soft skin rubbed against my skin, while the scent of her body calmed me down again. Even Erika's breath swept across my face when our faces were close together.

It took me a few seconds to realize what was really going on.

At first, when the lights turned on and Erika approached me, I was still very panicked. I want to tell you to keep Erika out of the room or just run away. I don't want anything to happen to him. Especially when I found the unknown figure still standing firmly with the look of his eyes that I had seen before I fell down and put a hammer into his body.

Spontaneously, Erika tidied up my hair that was messed up earlier. I realized my hair was starting to stretch. I haven't had time to go to the salon and cut it.

The figure was standing in front of us while draping his arms around his chest. Body looming. Not because it is tall or too high, but because the posture is firm and dense. Plus the look of the eyes and the shape of the jaw is firm. His nose is like confirming the look of his eyes like an eagle. Though I had felt like I knew this look in the eye, it was just that adrenaline and fear overcame logic and memory.

“Sorry, Gatotkaca earlier I hit you earlier,” I open my mouth.

The figure who turned out to be Gatotkaca just smiled, “It's okay Mr. State. You know that I won't get hurt because of that hammer.”

His words did not show arrogance, more likely to be honest.

“I'm the one who should be apologizing for making you both surprised. However, everything was out of the ordinary,” he looked at me and Erika alternately. “So, they call me Gatotkaca now?” continued. His face was like a hidden smile.

I smiled softly, “Media language. You are better known to them as Gatotkaca, after all I do not know your real name. So, do you have a real name, Gatotkaca? We will be happy to change Gatotkaca with your real name if you want.”

Gatotkaca nodded slowly. “I'm not as good as that legend. Maybe I should just be called Tetuka. Gatotkaca who is still small and wild, is also ferocious. Isn't that how some people describe me?” gatotkaca's face did not show any emotion this time.

“Tapa?” my mumbling and Erika were almost uniform. We exchanged words in silence.

“You don't mind we call Tetuka?” this time, Erika asked.

The young man almost smiled. He still doesn't answer. But, I'm sure he nodded a little.

I then looked around the messy room, then stopped at the body lying on the floor.

“Heh ... what, did he die?” my gaze was horrified to see the figure and suddenly realized how chaotic and dire this strange condition was.

The young man I was going to call Tetuka by the name was smiling, a little wider.

“No. He just fainted. He's one of the people Balai,” replied the Tetuka calmly.

“Already expected, apparently Balai has not been kapok!” erika said with a ketus.

“There were two of them, but one managed to escape right before you guys came,” baritone voice Gatotkaca back rolling.

I'm not really surprised to hear this anymore. Who else if not the person of Hall who dared to do this kind of desperate action. But of course I need answers and detailed stories from the Tetuka's own mouth.

Erika and I looked at her. Without speaking, the Tetuka understood this.

“I've noticed the lunge of both of them. Hall's men pay them to teach you a lesson, especially Erika who might be considered a soft target. Some residents of the apartment became a witness. They saw these two thugs coming so the residents chose to go into their respective rooms to avoid any problems.”

Worth it, which is why this apartment is so quiet, I thought.

“They did not find Erika and ruffled this room. Sorry Erika, I threw one of them on your bookshelf. The man ran away while my friend beat him unconscious.”

I looked at Erika. The person who was meant by the Tetuka was walking hastily in the hallway and had hit my shoulder. Apparently the man fled from the disaster as his partner experienced.
