The Tears In Marriage

The Tears In Marriage
Invitation

"Non... There's a shipment."

Alora looked at a servant in her house who had just come to her room. Without answering her servant's words, Alora immediately got up from her bed and walked towards the living room.

He can see a beautiful silver box already on the living room table. Alora walked over and sat on the sofa. Slowly, he opened the silver box.

Both of Alora's eyes immediately widened when she saw the contents of the box. A number of invitations were in the box.

Alora stared at the wedding invitation before her. The front cover of the invitation is clearly marked by the full names of Alora and Reinal. Just last night she agreed to a marriage with Reinal and now, Reinal sends her the invitations she's made to the house.

Some of the invitations in front of him are planned to be distributed to his family colleagues. Alora never imagined this would happen. Even their wedding date will be held six days later.

Alora smiled faintly reading the invitation that Reinal sent. He even rented a building for his wedding. Alora was not told by Reinal at all about any of this.

"Darling.mama can't wait to see you get married later."

Alora turned her gaze towards this woman who was already next to her. He gave a smile to his mother.

"Mama will invite all of your friends later. Let them know that you are getting married to Abara's family" Mama Alora said proudly.

Alora desperately wanted to stop this happiness of her mother. He wanted to tell his mother that he did not want to get married. He did not want to marry Reinal. But all that he could not do.

One invitation from Alora's table. Alora held the invitation and immediately stood up from her seat. Her mother who saw that instantly stopped her smile and looked confusedly at Alora.

"Where are you going?" ask her gently.

"You'll see Dimas. Want to tell you that I will marry another man," said Alora tightly. After saying that, Alora immediately walked away leaving her mother who was still silent to see Alora's departure.

Actually her mother really wanted to embrace Alora's body. He knew very well that Alora did not want this marriage at all, but if Alora did not do so, the fate of their family would be threatened.

The smile on Dimas' face made Alora unable to tell Dimas his intentions.

"What do you want to say, honey?" asked Dimas in his soft tone. Dimas grasped Alora's arms while looking at Alora's face.

"I'm sorry I asked to see you at work." Alora lowered her head and did not dare to look at Dimas' face.

"No problem. I know you'll want to say something important, so you'll ask to see you. What was? same story with me.."

He was eager to tell everything, but Alora's lips seemed stiff for a moment. He could not say a word in front of Dimas.

Dimas who realized it started to feel something strange. Because not usually Alora wants to meet at work and now Alora looks afraid to say what she wants to say.

Dimas slowly raised Alora's chin so that Alora could see her face. Dimas also gently stroked Alora's cheeks so that Alora could be a little calm and comfortable.

"I want us to break up, Dim."

Dimas' blood flow stopped when he heard Alora's words. Alora's serious facial expression made Dimas sure that Alora was not messing with his words. Dimas kept his hands away from Alora's face.

"Why are you, Alora? What was wrong until you said that? Our relationship hasn't been playing games, has it? I love you, Alora."

Alora lowered her head again. He didn't know where to start, he didn't know how to tell Dimas everything.

"We can't be the same, Dim. We are different, we are different" Alora said.

Dimas laughed at Alora's words. He knew what different things Alora had said. The two of them were indeed very different, but that was all that made them up until now. It was even Alora who convinced herself not to think about all those differences. But now, it was Alora herself who broke off the relationship on their grounds differently. According to Dimas, all of this makes no sense.

"Different because I'm poorer than you?" asked Dimas roughly. He was no longer gentle with Alora.

"That's one of them. I know I've been delaying our relationship so much. Because of that, Dim. Because of our social status, my family will not be able to accept you. I've been trying to get you into the family, but you'll never get in any further, Dim. I'm sorry.."

Dimas turned his eyes away from Alora. He tried to hold back his tears from dripping in front of Alora. What Alora said deeply pierced her heart.

"I'm trying too, Alora. I also tried so hard that I could prove to your family that I could. That's why I need your support, Alora. A little more. I want us to get married" said Dimas.

Alora answered him with a thin slit. Looking at Alora's head, Dimas was getting more and more emotional.

"That easy? that's how you cut off our relationship, Alora?!" Jerky Dimas.

Alora's eyes felt very hot hearing the clap from Dimas. Slowly Alora's tears began to pour down her cheeks.

"No, Dim. It's not that easy, but sooner or later it has to end. I've been thinking about all of this for a long time, we can't be together." Alora wiped her tears violently.

"Please Alora one more time. Give me another chance to prove it all. I will never be as rich as your family, but I beg you to give me another chance."

Alora's feelings grew even more unsettled after seeing Dimas had shed his tears. He could not see Dimas like that in front of him.

Alora immediately opened her bag and took out an invitation that she had brought earlier. He gave the invitation to Dimas.

"I'm getting married to my parents' choice, Dim. This might be the best choice I've ever made. There is no love in our marriage, but I'm sure I'll be able to love her" Alora said. Dimas could not say anything. He could only lament the wedding invitation that was in front of his eyes. An invitation that read Alora's name with another man.

Dimas' desire to marry Alora now could never happen. Alora will marry a man who is more than herself in any way.

"I wish you could forget me."
