Chapter 47. Honest Woman

"I'm sorry mommy! Mommy replaces it with a piggy bank with mommy," said Olivia while taking the piggy bank she had bought first because she intended when payday could set aside a little money because she did not have a bank account to save.

"It doesn't have to be for Mommy" Elves said.

"Mommy doesn't want to" Olivia refused while putting Elves' savings into her piggy bank.

"Why put again, don't you think mommy needs money?" Elves was confused by Olivia's attitude.

"It's Elves' money and Elves's right is not Mommy's right. What if daddy gets angry?"

"Daddy won't be mad, Elves promised not to tell Daddy." The child lifts his index finger and middle finger up to form a piss.

"No dear." Olivia still doesn't want to.

"Then just take it later if mommy already has the change money again," said Elves made Melanie nods proudly with the cleverness of her granddaughter.

Olivia was silent for a moment, it seemed like Elves' proposal was good as well.

"But no, what if Mr Jack finds out before I can replace him? Rather than me losing this job I'd rather lose that house" Olivia said. It might seem selfish but it was for the good of his family as well. If Olivia is fired, she may not necessarily get a better job and if she survives, she can still contract a house for her grandmother and mother.

Olivia shook her head with a smile.

"Don't love, mommy doesn't need this money" Olivia said as she continued to put the money into the piggy bank until it ran out.

"Save it back to its place!" olivia orders while thrusting the piggy bank in front of Elves.

Elves with a disappointed look shook her head and did not accept it.

"Well then I'll put it in your room." Olivia stood up and stepped towards the door.

Melanie who saw Olivia walking towards her immediately hid and followed Olivia's steps towards Elves' room from behind.

"Well she was completely honest and didn't want to take advantage of Elves' innocence" Melanie muttered as she saw Olivia put the piggy bank on one of the shelves in her grandson's room.

"Wait first! Maybe Olivia's afraid Elves will one day complain. What if I just trap it? Who knows, this time Olivia can only be found by the door," said Melanie while nodding.

The old woman walked up to Jack's room and opened the drawer where Dianaz's jewelry box was.

"It seems like it's gonna be more tempting." Melanie took the jewelry out of her box and left the box open and in disarray. After that he put the headache medicine right next to the jewelry.

"Degree. I want to see Olivia's reaction when I see this." Hurry the woman out of Jack's room and pretend to look for Elves in Olivia's room.

"What's the matter, ma'am?" asked Olivia who saw Melanie looking towards her open room.

"Where elves? It's lunch time, don't be late."

"Elves is here. Yes Madam I will take care of eating Elves soon."

Melanie nodded and left.

"Let's go to the dining room!" Olivia holds Elves by the hand to the dining room where Melanie is waiting for them.

Without saying much Olivia immediately took a meal and fed Elves because she already knew the favorite food of her foster children. Melanie is focused on eating alone.

Half an hour later, Elves finished her meal and Melanie finished her meal.

"My head is so dizzy!" Melanie grimaced as she scowled her forehead.

"Mrs why?" olivia asked as she walked over to Melanie and touched the old woman's head.

"My head hurts so much Oliv, it feels like it's breaking, '" ringis Melanie.

"May I flinch Madam?"

Melanie nodded and said, "can."

Olivia nodded as well.

"Sorry." Olivia immediately stomped on Melanie's head.

"Look at your massage. Can massage the neck too," said Melanie. Looks like the woman almost forgot her plan to test Olivia.

Olivia then moves on to Melanie's shoulders and neck.

"You're so talented, why don't you open a massage parlor?" ask Melanie reflex.

Olivia laughed at Melanie's question.

"Are you laughing?" melanie protests because Olivia instead of answering laughs.

"Sorry presumptuous," Olivia regretted that Melanie must have thought she was laughing at her employer.

"I don't want to be a masseuse for fear of men coming. Is it the danger of the madam? Especially if the wives of them think of various things" said Olivia plain.

"Well, you can choose especially for women."

"The lady's right, but next time because I don't have the money to rent a place."

Hearing Olivia Melanie's statement was shocked because her simple pretense was taken for granted by the woman.

"You really want to do that if there's money to rent a place?"

"Why not Madam, isn't the job halal?"

"Is Jack's salary less?" ask Melanie later.

Olivia quickly walked up the stairs. At Jack's room, the woman barged in.

"Where is the medicine box?" Olivia searches for the drug box on Jack's wall, but doesn't find it either.

Suddenly his eyes were fixed on a drawer on one of the tables near the bed.

"Maybe Mr. Jack kept it there." Olivia's approaching soon.

"Sorry sir if I am presumptuous, but this is for the good of the Lady" Olivia said as she pulled the drawer.

"God is beautiful." The sparkling jewelry instantly made Olivia's eyes fixed on the thing. His hands trembled to touch the jewelry when he just wanted to see it.

"The shape is also good, this must be very expensive," said Olivia stunned with the diamond pendant.

"But why was it laid carelessly like this? Ah, Mr. Jack is so late, jewelry like this should be placed in a special closet." Olivia put the necklace in her box.

"Where is the cure? Ah this is it." After taking the medicine Olivia rushes out of the room and gives Melanie the medicine.

"It turns out Olivia just tidied it up." Melanie breathes a sigh of relief.

"It seems I'm getting interested in making him a son-in-law. She was truly an honest woman despite her desperate circumstances. Ah Jack, when did you move on from Dianaz?" The old woman smiled happily.

"Looks like I have to plan something" Melanie said.
