"How's daddy?" reset Elves.
"Good, very good. Mommy Olivia said you're talented."
"Thank you Daddy." Elves smiled shyly.
"We're just sleeping now."
Elves nodded and laid her body back. Jack William lay down. One hand hugged Elves and the other hand stroked her son's hair.
"Look Dianaz our son is no less great than you," said Jack and then closed his eyes.
Jack wakes up the next day when Olivia opens the door to Elves' room.
"I'm sorry, sir, I thought Elves was alone. Then I'll just go out" Olivia said with an awkward expression.
"Hey wait for Olivia!"
"Yes Sir?"
"Please come in because I'm going out."
"All right." Finally Olivia stopped leaving Elves' room, and Jack after peeking at Elves' forehead immediately left her son's room.
"As usual Olivia accompanied Elves until the child woke up and had to wake up if it was close to breakfast time Elves had not woke up yet.
As of this morning, the clock had shown at half-time at 7am and the boy was still fast asleep.
"Elves dear wake up dong!" Olivia seemed to rub the cheeks of the child that made Elves instead of waking up even more soundly sleep because it had looked stretched and even slept again.
"Geez, it's so hard to wake you up today. Wake up, dear daddy's leaving soon."
"Olivia!"
The call at the door suddenly made Olivia shocked.
"Yes, Sir?"
"Let him, don't build it and wait to get up on his own! He just slept late last night."
"Has not Elves slept before me ...."
"He's waking up again."
"Geez sir, why didn't you wake me up? Sorry sir I really didn't know that Elves woke up."
"We have breakfast now."
"I? Without Elves?"
"Yes, after eating I want you to go to my office. I have something to talk about."
"Good sir."
"Then I wait at the dinner table."
Olivia nodded and Jack left immediately.
"What's up? Tumben I was called to Mr Jack's room? Do I want to get fired because I didn't accompany Elves last night when I woke up? Ah Olivia, why are you so banged up like that? Just because of one night's mistakes you'll lose your job," Olivia's inner self begins to worry. If he gets fired how can he repay his mother's debt to Reza. How can you feed her grandmother because finding a job in this day and age is getting harder.
"Ah is it okay if not sustenance how else? I will still be persistent in finding other jobs, so even an online motorcycle taxi driver is okay if there is no other job. But, if I'm fired, it means I won't be with Elves anymore."
"Miss Olivia was called Mr. Jack in the dining room."
Olivia immediately woke up from her daydream. "Ah yes Bi I'm going there soon."
The woman quickly walked down the stairs.
"Master?"
"Sit down and eat!"
Olivia sat awkwardly, only this time she sat down with the employer without any Elves beside her.
"Eat it" Melanie said as Olivia glanced at her.
"Eat, don't let me wait for you because I have to go to the office immediately. You didn't forget, did you with my orders?"
"Ah yes, ah no sir," replied Olivia nervously.
"Don't forget what that means." Olivia confirmed the sentence.
"Okay, we'll just eat now."
Olivia nodded and ate. The woman seemed to be eating in a hurry.
"Olivia's slow-moving all that haste is favored by the devil."
"Good sir."
Olivia started eating as usual.
Olivia nodded and followed Jack from behind. The woman stepped up while stringing up the farewell words for Elves so as not to grieve when she was left behind.
"Sit down!" jack's orders when he gets to his study.
"Huh?" Olivia was not focused because she was busy with her own thoughts, even she did not realize that she had reached Jack's office.
"Sit down!"
"Oh yes." Olivia sat down in the chair in front of Jack.
"Why do I see you daydreaming from earlier, what are you thinking?"
"Ah no sir, no. I just thought that Elves woke up and didn't find me there." Olivia reasoned.
"No need to worry, I've already told aunt to accompany her. Do you know why I called you here?"
"Will you sir, or will you fire me?"
"Fired?" Jack seemed to frown, how could Olivia think so far. But then the man smiled.
"What would you do if I was really going to fire you?"
"Of course find another job."
Jack nodded.
"Is there a request you make when you have to leave this house?"
Deg.
Olivia's heart is pounding. Not because of falling in love, but the fear that he was thinking about was really going to happen.
"Pesangon?"
"No sir, I understand my work. How could I ask for that?"
"Certainly? I promise to grant you one wish. Then say what it is!"
"I just want to be allowed to meet Elves when I miss."
"You sure?"
"Surely Sir. I've been too close to the kid where it might have to be apart for so long?"
"Do you not need money? Why don't you ask how much you've paid this month?"
"I do need money, but it is impossible to ask for more salary while my job is not perfect. May God provide sustenance in another way rather than having to take advantage of the situation to beg others."
Jack seemed to nod at Olivia's words. The man pulled out a brown envelope from his desk drawer.
"This is your salary." Jack held out the envelope to Olivia's face making the woman look shocked because it was not yet time for her to receive a salary.
"Master really wants to fire me?" Olivia's body seemed to be shaking and her face was instantly pale. The strong feeling that he had built up earlier collapsed instantly. It turns out that naming sincerity in the heart is not as easy as saying.
Olivia had no interest in grabbing the envelope so Jack put it on the table in front of Olivia.
"Take it! I'm not gonna fire you."
Only then did Olivia breathe a sigh of relief.
"really?" tanyanya did not believe.
"Yes. Firing you is like looking for trouble. You think Elves will be okay if you leave?"
"Huufft, I think you can separate us. Eh sorry."
"Take it as a handle for you. That's your salary this month" Jack said with a smile.
"Wage? Isn't this not the end of the month?"
"Take it because I know you need money right now so I give it early. Don't let the problem drag on, solve it while you can."
"Okay sir, thank you very much."
"Open up and count if you're lacking in your needs you can borrow them from me."
"Yes, sir." Olivia never thought of where Jack could find out he needed money right now.
"It's a lot, sir. Mister not mistaken hitungkah?" asked Olivia in disbelief.
"No, it's all for you. I deliberately added it because your job is very good. You can turn a mischievous Elves into a submissive and last night have managed to show that you are also good at teaching Elves to draw."
"But Master it wasn't me who taught–"
"I have to go to the office now" Jack said, taking a briefcase and leaving the room, leaving Olivia still sitting. It felt like having as much money in her hands right now was a dream for Olivia.
"Is this what it's like to work for the rich?"
Seriate.
