CHAPTER XIX

The footsteps of the horses of Princess Sekar Ayu's entourage stomped in the streets. They were racing horses continuously endlessly to make it to the royal palace immediately. The road feels very slippery after the rain, Putri Sekar Ayu feels very tired and sleepy. The party did not bring a horse carriage. Princess Sekar Ayu was forced to return to the palace on horseback because the horse-drawn carriage would slow down the journey.

“Stop...,” Putri Sekar Ayu yells and stops the pace of his horse.

“What's Princess Sekar Ayu?” ask Patih Samana.

“Can we rest for a while Patih, I am very tired and sleepy.”

“Hold a moment princess, we must immediately get to the palace for the safety of the princess,” said Patih Samana.

“Let him rest for a while, we can rest, eat and spend the night here,” said Patih Lembu Ireng.

Princess Sekar Ayu immediately got off her horse, took a drink bag and leaned her purse on the tree trunk standing by the roadside, her breath gasping, she drank the water greedily. He relaxes his muscles that feel sore because of riding too long.

The night was so dark, the moonlight hid behind thick clouds. Night insects are muttering. The wind blew on the tired faces of the group. The air was so cold it pierced the skin. They had been riding non-stop from earlier this afternoon. One by one the company got off the horse and rested.

Suddenly there was the sound of horse legs approaching the group.

“Standby.. protect Putri Sekar Ayu, there is a horse foot rush to get here,” said Patih Samana pulled out his sword.

All the soldiers were on standby, some took out swords and some put arrows on bows. In the distance, there was a group of Bajing Alas rebels who approached the group of Princess Sekar Ayu. The soldiers holding the arrows immediately drew bows before the horde approached.

“Aaahhh...,” shouted the rebels who were hit by arrows and fell from his horse.

The rebels behind him were surprised to not expect Princess Sekar Ayu's guard soldiers to carry arrows. They tried to fend off the rain of arrows with swords. Suddenly the rain of arrows stopped, apparently the guard soldiers of Princess Sekar Ayu did not carry many arrows. Only three soldiers had bows and arrows. The opportunity was not wasted the rebels immediately approached the group.

“Serang the soldiers of the kingdom! Kill them all!” the cry of one of the rebels stirred up the spirit of his comrades.

The sound of the clanking of swords clashed between the rebels and the soldiers of Princess Sekar Ayu's bodyguard. The soldiers of Princess Sekar Ayu's bodyguards are superior to the Bajing Alas rebels, let alone the Patih Samana and Ajisaka, who are also known as the, but from a distance there were hordes of Bajing Alas rebels coming to besiege Patih Samana and the soldiers of Princess Sekar Ayu's bodyguard.

Putri Sekar Ayu hid with Patih Lembu Ireng behind a large rock.

“Mr princess should we leave this place immediately, we go to the palace right now,” said Patih Lembu Ireng.

“We must go now for the safety of the princess, what if the guard soldiers and Patih Samana can not dispel the Bajing Alas rebels. This is our chance to run before they realize the existence of the princess,” said Patih Lembu Ireng half forced and pulled the wrist of Putri Sekar Ayu.

Instantly Putri Sekar Ayu fell asleep. Patih Lembu Ireng tied him up and took him on a horse ride to the hiding place of Paramarta.

“Finally... I managed to kidnap Princess Sekar Ayu,” Patih Lembu Ireng immediately drove his horse towards the wilderness to the hideout of Paramarta.

Meanwhile, the soldiers of Princess Sekar Ayu's bodyguard who had been besieged without fear still tried to fight with all their might. Many of the soldiers have been hit by enemy swords.

“Bayu, Aryo be prepared, we have to spend our strength in order to attack the Bajing Alas rebels,” cried Ajisaka while continuing to slap his sword towards the enemy.

“Aryo protect me,” shouted Bayu. He began to take a breath and concentrate on expelling his inner energy.

A white light slowly shot out from his palm, Bayu set his foot and leaped into the air directing the white light that was growing bigger towards the Bajing Alas rebels.

“Aaahhhrrr..” Shouts of the Bajing Alas rebels who were hit by the attack, they fell with black, blue wounds on the body.

Hordes of enemies began to waver to see his friend fall, the opportunity was not wasted by Patih Samana he immediately released his inner energy, a whirlwind of strong wind came out of his palm and smashed towards the enemy, the rebels fell into a whirlwind. The remnants of the Bajing Alas gang fled, the soldiers of Princess Sekar Ayu's bodyguard prepared to chase after him.

“Already... do not be pursued, we must deliver Princess Sekar Ayu to the palace,” shouted Patih Samana stopped the guard soldiers who were preparing to pursue the enemy.

“Where is Princess Sekar Ayu?” tanya Ajisaka spread his gaze around.

“He is with Patih Lembu Ireng, maybe they have rode towards the palace, we must catch up with him” said Patih Samana.

After making sure Putri Sekar Ayu and Patih Lembu Ireng are not in that place they immediately spur their horses following Patih Lembu Ireng who brought Putri Sekar Ayu. They continued to drive their horses at high speed but Patih Lembu Ireng and Putri Sekar Ayu were not overtaken. Patih Samana began to feel anxious, not Patih Lembu Ireng was injured, why he was so quick to ride his horse until it was not overtaken. Never mind Patih Lembu Ireng did not pass this road. Isn't this the closest way to the palace.

“Stop...” Shouts Patih Samana.

“What's Patih doing, why do we stop here?” ask Bayu.

“There is a strange, why Patih Lembu Ireng and Putri Sekar Ayu do not look we should have been able to catch up with him because Patih Lembu Ireng was injured. Did Patih Lembu Ireng go through another road, I'm afraid they're both in danger because there's no escorting, what should we do?” patih Samana.
