The Story of the Forecast Swordsman
Devotedly

After the birth of his granddaughter who was filled with wonders and oddities, Ki Pasupati planned to send an envoy to Lion Mandala, a small kingdom in the valley of Mount Pasupati. Ki Pasupati intends to send his best students two people, as well as his loyal servants. They are Si Punta and Si Wijil who have long served for Ki Pasupati.

That afternoon at the pendopo Ki Pasupati sat relaxed at the company of Ki Soma, they enjoyed the beauty of the afternoon. After agreeing to pick up Prayudha, then Ki Pasupati called Punta and Wijil to face.

"Please my lord, what is it that the two servants are called to face", Punta asked respectfully before the two elder paddokan's grandfathers.

"Punta and Wijil my loyal servant, I will assign you to deliver this letter to Prayudha in the kingdom of Lion Mandala", replied Ki Pasupati with great authority.

"Although sir, I am ready to carry out your orders. Servant please say goodbye", replied Punya and Wijil while paying respect.

Their journey began to go to the Lion kingdom Mandala that afternoon. They hope not to be in the middle of the road. Their horses accelerated. Their horse-drawn carcasses split the wilderness in the valley of the foot of Mount Pasupati.

Suddenly Punta signaled to stop in the middle of the forest near the water source.

"Rear, what's stopping here?" Wijil asked in astonishment.

"Wijil, we rest for a while, we need to drink water", said Punta while drinking the clear lake water.

"Okay Kakang, I also want to drink" said Wijil while drinking water from the shower above the lake.

"Alright Wijil, in two hours we will arrive at the inn, the journey to the king's city we continue tomorrow morning" Punta exclaimed from his horse.

They continued their journey by driving the horse quite fast. Until they came out of the wilderness border the day started to get a little dark. In the middle of the dim twilight Punta and Wijil rest in an inn.

"Wijil, quickly finish our supplies, tomorrow morning we have to leave!" exclaim Punta to Wijil.

"Alright Kakang, we spend together", said Wijil.

Punta sat face to face with Wijil, while devouring their provisions. Occasionally Punta threw his gaze out the window of the inn watching the surroundings. Punta is known to be very wary of the situation, which is why Ki Pasupati strongly believes in him. Unlike Wijil, he is kind and obedient, but less vigilant. Both are partners that cannot be separated. He will always be there to advise the people he adores.

The night was getting late, Wijil was already curled up to sleep soundly in the corner of the inn room. While Punta is still not seen sleeping, she is busy putting up magical protectors. He is always on guard with all possibilities. He was seen sleeping after the ritual was over.

In the middle of the night, a quiet atmosphere enveloped only the sound of crickets and grasshoppers on the street corner. Suddenly the magical protector reacted, Punta realized and destroyed his magical heirloom in the form of a Mega Baya kris. His eyes began to look to the right and to the left. His breath sizzled like a snake, a sign he began to concentrate his inner energy.

"Bruuuaaakk".

From the left direction suddenly a spear struck. Punta fended off the attack and dodged towards his bed Wijil. Some of the wooden walls of the room fell and the inn room began to sway as if it was about to collapse.

"hiaaattttt", "tring, tring".

The sound of them fighting, the clash between the spear and keris made a loud noise. Sparks of fire started out like lightning.

Wijil woke up from sleep due to the noise of the night. Not yet had he caught the breath of a bogem hovering right towards his stomach. Instantly a very sick nausea hit him, his body rolled bouncing out of the inn. He could still stand holding onto the important letter that Ki Pasupati gave him.

Residents got up and ran out of the house while sounding a fart. Wijil hid towards the houses with a frightened face. Luckily the citizens started to arrive and the guard soldiers also came to secure the situation. Seeing the situation that was less favorable the begals fled into the middle of the forest. Some soldiers chased him.

"No sir, absolutely not", answered Punta short.

Punta immediately looked for Wijil in the crowd. The situation that night was calm again, some of the guard troops tightened their guard. Punta and Wijil returned to the inn and continued their rest.

The sound of the cock crowing that morning began to earthy, the sign of the day starting in the morning. Punta and Wijil hurried off towards the direction of the king's city. They remained on guard despite being close to the king's city.

Before noon, they had already reached the town square, the atmosphere was so bustling. Its friendly inhabitants signify an advanced civilization. The city of the king was not too grand, nor was it too vast. Just the atmosphere and the neat arrangement of the city makes the city beautiful to look at.

Punta and Wijil took the time to just take their eyes off to the corner of the city to unwind. Not so long they arrived at the sturdy palace gate made of red bricks complete with carvings so that it looks magnificent. There were two gatekeepers who were preparing there and stopping their horses.

"Sorry Ki Sanak, what is your purpose here?" ask one of the guards who is of great stature.

"Sorry sir, we are emissaries from Padepokan Kencana Pasupati, intending to meet Mr. Prayudha" Punta replied calmly explaining the purpose of their arrival.

"Please gentlemen wait here, we will report to the superiors" said one of the guards.

"Okay sir", Punta and Wijil answered and waited patiently.

They waited long enough for the sun to be completely overhead. The guard came to pick them up. They walked towards a private residence of Mr Prayudha. On the terrace of the house, Mr. Prayudha had been waiting in the guard of some special soldiers.

Indeed, the position of Prayudha is not playful, he is the Mahapatih of the Mandala Lion kingdom. His tall stature was large and sturdy muscular signifying he was not an indiscriminate person. Kanuragan and kawisesan science are already on par with Ki Pasupati his father and Ki Soma his spiritual teacher.

Prayudha welcomed them with kindness and affection. Punta and Wijil in jamu like guests of honor.

"Punta, is there anything important that uncle came here?" ask Prayuda while enjoying the dishes served by palace ladies.

"For example, my lord", Punta and Wijil worship and pay homage to Prayudha.

"Ampuni keel servant came here, nothing else to convey a message from the father of the master, Ki Pasupati", said Wijil gave the letter to Prayudha.

Prayudha immediately opened and read the letter carefully. From the look on his face he was so happy and happy.

"Well, Punta and Wijil tomorrow I'll be home". "For a while you can stay at my house" Prayudha said politely.

"Thank you my lord" Punta and Wijil replied to immediately beg to sit back.

The atmosphere was so happy to radiate from their meeting, while enjoying the clear afternoon sky until late at night. Prayudha prepared all his equipment and wrote an official letter for the Sunday leave to the King. To the king, Prayudha said he would return soon. All duties of security and compliance were handed over to Senopati Brajamusti under the direct command of the King.

With a heavy heart the king took off and gave Prayudha a week off. The king took him to the border of the king. So much attention of the king to Prayudha at that time made all moved.

Prayudha accompanied by Punta and Wijil in strict control by fifty special soldiers walked down the valley and up the mountains to reach Padepokan Kencana Pasupati.
