The Soul Sword Legend
The End of Death

After being washed away and tossed by the river currents, Kanilaras' body was stuck in a log in the middle of the river Kali Brantas. A middle-aged lung woman who was passing by the river saw Kanilaras' body moving because of the river current.

Kanilaras' body lifted high from the river and flew over to approach the middle-aged lung woman who was leaning her body on a large rock located on the river bank.

Maheswari—name of the middle-aged woman. Maheswari is an elderly virgin who was alienated by her parents, the event happened because of Maheswari's half-sister.

His half-sisters thirst for the power and affection of their father, he also did not want Maheswari to get an inheritance even though only grimly.

“Sweet child,” he said softly while smiling widely.

He brought Kanilaras to the hut where he had been sheltering all this time and Maheswari's residence was not so far from the river. Kanilaras skin color has now turned blue.

The red spear poison had spread throughout Kanilaras' body, seeing that it made Maheswari panic a little. Soon he's smearing potions in Kanilaras' wounds.

Maheswari slowly inserted his finger into Kanilaras' wound. Pressed his finger with all his might until Kanilaras' wounds spewed out blood and green-colored liquid.

As a result of Maheswari's treatment Kanilaras' body shook violently and he spewed fresh blood from his mouth. After successfully removing the poison, the middle-aged lung woman cast a spell with her palm touching Kanilaras' wound. The palm of Maheswari's hand released smoke and soon Kanilaras' wounds gradually tightened.

“You were exposed to red spear poison,” Maheswari said.

The red spear poison was famous for its ferocity, anyone who was exposed to the poison would instantly die on the spot. Luckily Kanilaras has a body so strong that he is able to survive until he meets Maheswari; the person who helps him from death.

Kanilaras blinked his eyes, with a slightly blurred vision he looked at Maheswari's old hut. It's been two days and one night the girl's been unconscious.

After his sight returned to normal Kanilaras stared at the moon that emitted a yellowish glow from the blemishes of the surrounding trees, heard echoing the sound of wolf roars across the forest and Kanilaras' hands fumbling his arms that were hit by a red spear.

Why are my wounds not there? I remember very much that I was hurt at the time. Inner Kanilaras, his eyeballs were rolling staring at his mediocre-looking left arm.

Kanilaras' black soot again scoured the entire hut, "Where am I?"

“You are in my hut, sweet boy ..” Maheswari said from the outside.

“Who are you and ... where is my sword?” kanilaras asked with glaring eyes.

Maheswari smiled as she thrust out the potion that was accommodated in a coconut shell, the lentic-eyed girl looked suspiciously at Maheswari.

“Drink, don't be afraid! I won't poison you,” he said, offering a smile that holds many mysteries.

Who her? Do I have to drink the potion he gave me? kanilaras murmured with the brows that were linked.

Maheswari understood Kanilaras' suspicions, as he was once in the position of the girl who lived alone in this world.

Full of confidence Maheswari downed the little potion he made earlier.

"Look, I'm fine, aren't I!" maheswari said as she grabbed Kanilaras' sword hanging behind the closet.

Without asking again, Kanilaras sipped the potion toilet. Although his body was still weak Kanilaras got up from his bed and tried to sit facing Maheswari who was still standing in front of the door.

“Don't move too much!” maheswari said, glancing at the girl he saved.

In a weak voice Kanilaras replied, “Who are the nyi kanak? And ... why did my nyi kanak save me?”

Maheswari smiled a thin smile and returned the Moon Sword to Kanilaras' hands, “Who am I is not important. Human fellows should help each other.”

“Who is Aden actually? Why was it exposed to the poison of the red spear?” added Maheswari who strafed Kanilaras with some questions.

Aden is a name for a traveler.

“Which kingdom is Aden from?” Maheswari again asked a question.

The girl stared at the middle-aged woman.

"Why did Nyai ask that? Do I look like a royal envoy?” Kanilaras asked the woman who had saved him.

Again Maheswari commented with a smile, "The clothes you wear and .. the sword you carry!” sergeant Maheswari stared at Kanilaras.

The woman's question left Kanilaras stunned for a moment and without orders his head contents recalled the incident a few weeks ago. When King Gendra attacked the kingdom of— where he lived, without realizing the tears Kanilaras dripped.

“Why are you crying?” Maheswari approached Kanilaras and his right hand gently stroked the girl's head.

The young girl looked at Maheswari with her sad eyes. He told me a little about his life, but he didn't tell me his real identity. Kanilaras only tells the story of his parents who were killed by King Gendra.

Hearing the story of Kanilaras, Maheswari volunteered to be his teacher and intended to bring down all the canuragan knowledge he mastered to the girl he just met.

"Did Nyai really mean it?" said Kanilaras with round eyes staring at the middle-aged woman.

The middle-aged lung woman simply nodded without making a single word of sound.

“What is Nyai sure raised me as a student?” asked Kanilaras enthusiastically.

“My hunch says that you're a good person. And I am sure ... You will be a wise swordsman in all matters,” he said in a heavy voice.

"But, should you be your student?"

"of course. You can't doubt!" concluded Maheswari, nodding Maheswari's head makes Kanilaras believe in his ability.

The next day, on the rocky hill Maheswari ordered Kanilaras to hang on the tree like a bat. During the Kanilaras ascetic ban on eating and drinking, he had to complete the tapa kalong something with the rules affirmed by his teacher—Maheswari.

“You need to stay concentrated and stronger the grip of your feet!” maheswari's decree under the tree—where Kanilaras does tapa kalong.

Yes, tapa kalong is done to get the science of relieving the body and tapa kalong is done by some famous warriors; including Maheswari who is now a teacher of Kanilaras

One day Kanilaras passed through this tapa, his stomach feels wrapped around the great, as a result of not eating since morning and again his throat is very concerned about the condition of Kanilaras today.

How long am I doing this tapa? kanilaras grumbled in his heart.

The question raised in Kanilaras heart can be heard clearly by the teacher.

Without a shady aling-aling Maheswari answered and insinuated the inner Kanilaras.

"Until you can calm down and take control of your body." The answer to the question was thrown from the thin lips of Maheswari.

Sontak Kanilaras was surprised to hear his teacher say so.

How did he know I said that?

Has not been able to continue his words Maheswari has chimed in again his sentence.

"Well when does your heart grumble, huh?" he opened it with his deadly eyes.

Although Kanilaras closed his eyes, he could feel the aura of anger from the teacher. Back the girl focused her mind and calmed down the ever-unclear words, when she was about to rule herself the little earlobe heard the swipe of the leaf blowing in the wind.

Kanilaras again unfocused and repeatedly he moved his head, a small wind rolling hit Kanilaras earlobe and entered tracing the ear cavities.

There was the voice of an old man, "You and the sword are mine!" Sontak Kanilaras opened his eyes and looked around the area.
