048. REASON FOR DOING SO

Donzello was in his office working. Sofia entered the room by knocking on the door first.

"Excuse me, sir." Sofia said when she entered.

"What's wrong?" Donzello looked at his secretary from where he was sitting.

"There's a guy named Gianluigi Dimarco coming. He said you called him here." Sofia. "Did you make an appointment with him, sir?"

"Yes, tell him to come in here." Donzello. "Sophia..."

Sofia's steps came to a halt as she was about to turn around to get out of the room.

"What's up, mister?" Ask Sofia.

"My wife invited you to dinner tonight. Can you?" Stare Donzello conveyed Ruella's wish this morning at breakfast.

Sofia seemed to think for a moment. There was something that the woman thought about until her face showed confusion.

"What's wrong? My wife just wants to know you. Come with your lover." Donzello.

"All right, sir." Sofia replied after that rushing out of there to meet the guests who came for Donzello.

A guest who was a private detective had just walked into the room where Donzello was.

"I've heard who you want to look for mister d'Este." Said a tall and skinny man.

The man is Gianluigi Dimarco, a 36-year-old private detective.

After deciding to find out who the father of the child Ruella conceived, Donzello thought of asking a private detective for help. Therefore he hired the services of the man who was in front of him at this time to look for the person who impregnated Ruella.

Ruella received a call from her best friend—Emiliano when she had just enjoyed her lunch alone at the dinner table.

"You sure everything's okay? No change from your husband?" Emiliano's question on the phone made Ruella scrunch her forehead.

"It's Rue, you better not have to do anything to her. He went to prison because of it. You better stay away from him so that he doesn't avenge what you did that put him in jail." Emiliano.

Being too upset, Ruella immediately turned off her phone call and immediately got up from the dining table chair. As he turned around, his steps came to a halt as Savero stood in the direction behind him. The man looked at Ruella so he knew that Savero had heard all of her words to Emiliano.

"Why see me like that?" Ruella asked Ketus to Savero.

"Don't say bad things while you're pregnant." Seru Savero stood facing each other with Ruella at a distance of three meters. "That's very bad and not good for his brain development."

Savero looked at his watch and saw that the time had shown at one noon. Today he plans to go to the hospital to see his practice room and take care of the remains of his move to work.

"No, I'm not hungry." Savero answered Paola. His gaze was fixed on the several packs of drugs and vitamins that were on the table. It all belonged to Ruella. "Paola, has Rue taken the medicine and vitamins?"

"It doesn't seem like master. As she was about to finish eating, the lady received a call." Answer Paola.

Savero clucked while shaking his head. He was a little upset that Ruella had forgotten the most important thing for him to be fine.

In the sambarnya package of drugs along with vitamins and immediately rushed to Ruella's room to give all that to the woman.

Ruella had just walked into her room, and was about to close the door but Savero who rushed over immediately held the door and barged inside.

Ruella became surprised at what happened. He took a few steps back because Savero went straight into his room without his consent.

"What's wrong? Why are you here?" Upset Ruella saw Savero coming into her room.

Savero thrust what he had brought to Ruella without a word, but out of her annoyance at her presence, Ruella brushed her hand until the medicine and vitamin parcel fell to the floor.

"What's wrong with you? I kindly gave it to you why are you even like this?" Savero was provoked by emotions because he did not understand Ruella's childish attitude.

Hearing Savero's words made Ruella even more upset. He does not want the man to manage it let alone be caring about him. Ruella did not want Savero to be close to her and felt that she was doing all that because the child Ruella conceived was her child.

"I told you not to set me up! Don't do anything for me! I don't need all your attention! And most importantly of all, don't feel like you're doing all that because the child I'm carrying is your child!!" Ruella exclaimed so badly that her voice sounded a little loud.

Savero became speechless hearing all of Ruella's exclamations. He thought of the reason why he was doing the things he had been doing for her. Honestly, he doesn't understand why he did it.

"Don't tell me you did it because you're a doctor! I'm not asking for advice from you who's a doctor!" Ruella said her gaze increasingly looked annoyed. "Since the beginning I told you that you must not assume this child is your son! But the more days, I feel like you're getting to look at it that way!"

Confusion is seen from the blinds of Savero's frozen eyes. Just keep looking around to find out the reason why she did all that to Ruella.

Although he sometimes hated the woman, but still he could not not care for her. He also realized that he had become so worried about Ruella that he followed her several times to make sure she was safe.

"Open up, do you feel like what you're doing because you feel it's your duty?" Ruella asked with a look of anger.

"Yes, I don't think it's any harm if I make sure my son's okay." Answer Savero.
