...Bluesphere Empire...
Right now everyone was in the dining room of Claude's family manor for lunch. Unlike before, the atmosphere here was very crowded because of the large number of people inside this dining room. There are all members of the Ultimate Magician Society, namely Shin Wolford, August von Earlshide, Maria von Messina, Sizilien von Claude as the third daughter of the owner of the manor, Alice Corner, Thor von Flegel, Lynn Hughes, and others, Yuri Carlton, Tony Freed, Julius von Littenheim, Mark Bean, Olivia Stone (hadeh, many very very members even though there is only one important). In addition to them, there are also Merlin Wolford, Melinda Bowen, May von Earlshide, Naruto Uzumaki, and Eriza Starlight.
While the Anggi Ultimate Magician Society is talking cheerfully even though the gospel is not polite to do when eating, Naruto had a gloomy face thinking about his older sister who was not in this place and was doing business elsewhere.
"Are you still worried about your brother?" asked August who was sitting next to Naruto with a gentle smile.
"Yes, I'm a little worried about him. I know he is strong and I myself do not know to what extent Nee-san's strength, but it is still a rash act to do this alone" Naruto replied with a clear face.
"Just calm. Using his Teleportation magic, I'm sure he will definitely survive somehow. After all, you should know more about your brother, right?" august said to appease Naruto.
"Yes, you're right. There is no way Nee-san will lose. Even if he loses, I'm sure he can escape quickly." Naruto's face changed slightly as he recalled what Elena could do.
---
Back to a moment ago when Elena felt annoyed at Shin who called her as a greedy girl. To make her time not wasted, Elena attempted to pry a bit of information known to First Prince Earlshide —August von Earlshide—.
"Can you tell me about some things about the Bluesphere empire?" ask Emera with a friendly smiling face, as if not assume if what is asked is something strange.
"Why are you asking me about that? Can't you get information from the traders? I'm sure those of you who travel must have gotten a piece or two of their information." August turned serious when Elena asked him that.
"Traders are indeed a great information network because they are spread across various kingdoms and share information with each other to make greater profits and sharpen good relationships. But, I wouldn't say they knew everything, especially the Bluesphere empire, you know." Elena made a mysterious grin.
"Right, I'm sure you already know that the Earlshide kingdom and the Bluesphere empire are waging war right now. Moreover, the Bluesphere empire is the worst choice for merchants, so you can't get any information regarding this."
"Truely, not a single merchant knew in detail about the condition of the empire." Elena walked over to August. "As an enemy country of the empire, I'm sure you guys put some of your intel on him." Elena walked around August. "I just want to get some little information that you guys want. Instead, …." He continued by closing his lips to August's ear and saying, "I might be able to give you some magic, you know."
August slightly let out a cold sweat from his back, thinking hard at Elena's offer. A magic technique looks very tempting because the progress of a country can be seen from the magic they have. But on the one hand, if magic is too advanced, this will actually be dangerous because it can be used as a tool of war.
"Don't you go too far, Elena. Although you have good magic, ta—," Shin's words were cut off because something happened to him.
*Zrrtt!*
With great speed, the shadow under Shin's feet moved and instantly wrapped around him. The shadow also stuffed her mouth so she could not say anything that might interfere with Elena's negotiations.
"Gluks!" The others gulped their saliva at the sight of Shin being incapacitated for a short period of time.
Naruto and Eriza still do not know the true power of Shin, but both can hear from rumors that Shin is the strongest person in the kingdom. Moreover, her main problem was that neither of them dared to fight Elena whose strength was far above the two of them.
For May, she was afraid when she felt that this matter had become serious. His eyes became round and trembling, not knowing what to do. Basically, she was indeed only a Princess and did not possess any combat power. There was nothing he could do in this situation.
"I appreciate your kind offer, but our kingdom still doesn't need magic." August walked forward away from Elena. "It sounds good when we get great magic, but if it's not coupled with the improvement of society's quality, it's, then that magic will only be used for the fight between civilians and instead destroy this country."
August stared at the scene at the foot of the mountain. There was the forest where Shin grew up before getting into the magic school. There was nothing great about the sight, just a stretch of green trees with mountains surrounding this place. Really, a very remote location and far from the hustle and bustle of this world. Under these conditions, it was only natural that Shin knew nothing when he had just come out of the forest.
"Just calm down, this is not attack magic or great magic related to combat. In fact, it will help communication in this world. Can you imagine a time when your spies were in another kingdom and could pass on the information they had in a matter of seconds?" Elena shrugged her shoulders, giving August time to have more time to think.
August closed his eyes as he closed his arms, thinking whether he would exchange information regarding the Bluesphere empire for the magic Elena meant. After thinking about this for a while, he finally found the answer he felt was the most appropriate choice.
August opened his eyes and turned to Elena. "I'm sorry, but I declined your offer. It's true, the offer you gave was very tempting and this might advance the kingdom several hundred years into the future. But, as the First Prince, I cannot allow this kingdom's secret information on a stranger whose origins are unclear."
Naruto bit his lower lip as he held back fearing August's reply. She had no idea what her Big Sister was going to do, but she wanted no bloodshed here. Naruto understood Elena as a good older sister who sometimes teased her a little, but for some reason, he felt that Elena was now giving off a different aura than usual.
Currently, Naruto feels that Elena is someone from a harsh world, where the exchange of information can determine one's life. He did not know what was inside his Big Sister's head and could only feel goosebumps with this.
