When I got off the plane and activated my phone, my eyes widened along with the sound of my heart beating quickly, the article there was a notification coming from Aileen. Cole's happy, sure. But that's not what's important now.

There was a message from Aileen saying that our daughter is not well.

I saw Aileen's back holding our little daughter. Aileen's facial features look restless, and also tired.

Aileen looked so worried even though there was no sound of crying coming out from Cessa's mouth.

"How is he doing?" my many. The moment our eyes met I could catch a little relief from the look on that face.

"I'm sorry I had to ask you to come. I know you must be busy." Aileen replied in a half-whispering voice. I approached her to see our little baby.

As I reached out, Aileen understood my cue and happily gave Cessa a move in my arms.

"He just fell asleep. Cessa had a fever. Probably because of his immunity. But now it's better" Aileen explained.

"You're not working? you can leave after Cessa is completely asleep. There's Katrina who helped me take care of her." Of course I rejected the idea. I want to be with my daughter and Aileen even longer.

"Master's gone to the office." The answer was quick. "Master told me that tomorrow night you could come for dinner" Sarah said.

"alright. Aileen and Cessa are asleep. I'll go home and come back tomorrow." I said goodbye.

Even though I said all my work was done, it was just an excuse. I don't want Aileen to keep pushing me back to work.

Meanwhile, Aileen developed a song that Cole himself did not know what the title was. But it makes the atmosphere feel so comfortable.

"I didn't know you could sing." Cole put Cessa's milk on the table in front of Aileen.

Aileen's face warmed slightly when she found out that Cole was watching her.

"It looks like Cessa really likes your singing." again Cole showed his trademark smile.

"Why are you coming all these nights?" Aileen frowned. Looks like the woman doesn't know if Cole's been invited to dinner.

"The uncle asked me to come. You don't know?" Aileen shakes. Cole smiled back. "Give it to me." Cole asks Cessa to give it to him.

Aileen passes Cessa to Cole, "Give her milk. It's time for dinner" Aileen said.

Cole took the milk on the table and gave it to Cessa. Cole really enjoyed his role.

"Drink your milk, dear Daddy. Be healthy to play with Daddy" Cole said, holding Cessa in his arms.

After Cessa's milk runs out, Cole turns over Cessa's body to make her burp before laying the little body back on the bed.

Aileen only watched in silence. Aileen's heart really warmed when she noticed the closeness between Cole and her daughter.

"Well, Cessa's asleep, it's time for us to have dinner, too." Cole said. "Down first. I have to get changed" said Aileen, letting Cole go first.

"Hem. I'll have Katrina ride to accompany Cessa."

Dinner ended quietly. Dave and Cole just talk as usual, while Aileen is more silent. And only talk if they're talking about Cessa.

"You okay? rest early. Your face looks pale" Cole said, worrying about Aileen.

"Hem. I'll sleep if Cessa doesn't have a fever anymore." Aileen. "I can keep him in your place." Cole took the initiative.

And secretly kiss me again? Aileen wanted to say that, but she didn't want to make the situation between them awkward. Hence Aileen could only smile.

"Your job is a lot, right? Cessa was okay, too. I hope tonight the fever doesn't come again."

After getting into the car, Cole immediately took his car to leave the Marsden residence.

This time Cole didn't go straight back to his apartment. He chose to go home to his parents.

"Mom, aren't you asleep?" Cole approached the middle-aged woman who was currently in the lounge room to give him a kiss. "How's mommy's granddaughter doing, is it better?" ask mommy Cole.

"Cessa's been better mom. When I left, the fever had gone down. And his sleep is also slumbering." said Cole. Breath full of relief seen from mommy Cole.

"Thank God then."

Earlier, when Cole's plane arrived at the airport, Cole had told his mommy that he would go directly to the Marsden family home to see his daughter. That's why Cole's parents found out that their granddaughter was sick.

"What about Aileen? is she okay?" This time Cole was silent for a moment. "Aileen is fine too mom. Just look tired. Because Cessa is becoming more fussy than ever, and Aileen has to go extra mile in keeping Cessa." Cole tells.
