"What's this?" Steve frowned as Cole gave the man's wedding invitation to one of his best friends who had been fighting alongside him. "Look at yourself." Cole said, smiling.
Steve opened and read the contents, for a moment the man looked at Cole with his mouth agape. Cole nodded with a distinctive smile of himself
"Oh...! this for real? you're getting married? A Cole Maxim? tell me this isn't April's mop." Steve still shakes in disbelief.
How can a very ambitious man get married so soon, even more so when their company is on the wind.
This is impossible. Steve was still staring suspiciously with a smile of denial about it.
"Do I look like I'm joking? if you don't believe just come. You'll see for yourself." Challenge Cole.
The man never told Steve anything, including what happened between him and Aileen. Everything is a secret that only you want to keep for yourself.
After all, let people see as to where they want to be seen. Getting married for falling in love is a good idea, rather than the opposite.
Enough of him who knows what the real reason he will get married in the near future.
"Oh man. You really succeeded in surprising me. I really didn't expect. Honestly, man, I don't think you'd even think something like this would happen to you, would you?" Steve smile.
"Tell me a little who this woman is. Who's the woman who made you hand over an invitation like this? I really want to know." muttered Steve still researching the invitation.
"Aileen Marsden.." read Steve again. "Why do I know this name. Such a familiar name." murmured Steve again.
"You know who Steve is." Cole smiled back. And in an instant Steve remembered a name.. Name that may be related,..
"Is that the daughter of the Marsden family?" steve said he didn't believe it. Cole smiled proudly at him. Not everyone can be in their current position. Along with Dave Marsden's only daughter.
"It's crazy. Do you know, man. Even my chest was beating rapidly. Look. I'm pounding." Steve's face shone.
He approached Cole and hugged him with a great feeling of happiness. "I'm really happy for you, man."
Although still amazed at the truth of the news, for Steve all this was like a dream. Although it is undeniable that Steve feels happy for Cole, a man who is already like his own brother.
"Congratulations to your marriage, my friend." Cole smiled back at the embrace of his best friend.
"Thank Steve. Like you said. I still can't believe that I'm getting married soon and will be part of that family." Cole chimed in on Steve's previous words. "I hope this isn't a dream."
When he heard the words that should not be spoken from Cole's mouth, Steve knew that his best friend was happy with his marriage.
He thought Cole was a man who would be single for life because of the ambition he had so far, but he was wrong. Steve seemed very enthusiastic about his wedding plans.
"I think this woman has really made you fall in love. Otherwise, how could a Cole Maxim who disliked a long-term relationship like yours be able to hand over an invitation like this. It's obvious that you want her too."
It's not wrong what Steve said. Cole is looking forward to joining Aileen as soon as possible. Just imagine how much profit he could get just because he had become part of that family. Just thinking about it made Cole's chest flutter.
"Then tonight we're supposed to party. You should come. I'll tell the others too. Singles parties should be done with festivity." proposes Steve enthusiastically.
Cole just chuckled at Steve who was so excited by all his plans. However, Cole did want to share a little happiness that he felt at this time.
"You set it. I'll definitely come." Cole. "Every boss. I'll have a great party for you. Unforgettable bachelorette party." said Steve with a big smile.
After saying all that, he immediately left Cole's study. "There's just nothing."

Steve who was impatient to spread the happy news from Cole immediately rushed to the fifth floor where his friends were.

Steve knocks on the door of the room to get the attention of his friends..
"Do you know what this is?" said Steve showed off the invitation that was waved with a smile sumringah.
"Invitation." replied Dicky, turning his attention short. Dicky has a position as one of the vice-chairmen of the division. "Whoever knows this is an invitation, man." Steve replied. "But do you know whose invitation this is?" ask her again.
Steve's words of course immediately invite curiosity from the employees who were in the room.
"Good day, Steve." said Erika who just returned with some files in her hand.
"Good day too Erika." Steve replied kindly as always.
Jhon and Andrew who are opposite the table with Dicky also now take a glance. "Is that yours?" jhon said with a laugh.
"Oh, you're wrong this time, man. I will give you an invitation, but later, when I'm tired of seeing the hips of beautiful women surround me." said Steve invited the laughter of his three colleagues.
"Then?" now Andrew is speaking.
"Don't be surprised when you see the name written on this invitation." Steve placed the invitation right on the table and folded his hands to wait for the reaction of his friends.
The first person to open the invitation was Andrew. The man read it quickly and the reaction he gave invited curiosity from the other two men.
In his heart Steve was very satisfied, because not only himself was surprised when he saw the invitation.
Steve nodded in understanding with a look of disbelief from Andrew. "This really?" andrew still couldn't believe what he saw.
"I'm just as surprised as you are my friend" Steve said.
Seeing this, Jhon and Dicky also approached Andrew. The two looked at each other when they saw the name written on the invitation paper.
"No way! this is impossible. Is this really that man? our director?" reset Dicky. Once again Steve nodded with a satisfied smile.
"That's right." interrupted Jhon. "I really don't know if the director is going to end his bachelor so soon." the man was stunned.
"It's big news, man, really. Imagine how much the media will report this."
"You're right. Though we have never seen a boss with a woman whose name is listed here though. But now look at it. It seems like the boss is really good at hiding his relationship. Do you know him? this lady?"
Ordinary people would certainly not be familiar with the name of the bride and groom listed on the invitation paper worth hundreds of dollars, except for the likes of Cole and Steve.
"You're right. The guy up there is good at hiding his girlfriend." added Dicky provoked laughter from the three.
"Tonight I'm gonna throw a bachelorette party for our best friend. Don't forget to come." said Steve who had folded back the invitation he had put on the table.
"Yes, sure. And it's good that we get back to work now" Dicky said, ending the short conversation. "You're right, man. Then I'll see you later."
"Don't forget, get to Darren." exclaimed Steve before disappearing behind the door..

"Sarah, is Papa Dave home yet?" asked Aileen who had just arrived home. He took off his coat and also gave a bag in his hand to the maid to be delivered to his room.
Today Aileen has spent almost all her time outside. He went to some of his hotels to transfer some of his duties to a trusted representative up to the appointed time.
Dave tells Aileen to cut back on a bit of work before the wedding day. That's why he chose a little free time to give up the responsibility.
"Already miss. You've been home since this afternoon. You also advised, so that the lady immediately meet the master when you return." said Sarah delivered a direct message from Dave.
Aileen nodded. "alright. Then I change clothes first. Tell papa Dave I'll see him in a minute." said Aileen who immediately went up to the second floor to her room.
To be honest, he felt so tired today. Due to Papa Dave's request, Aileen had already handed over the responsibilities of her work to someone she could trust.
And the trip, pretty much drained his energy. Plus, he had not met Cole at all for the past two days, Aileen wanted to see the man right now.

After changing clothes, Aileen immediately met Dave in her study.

"Papa Dave." call Aileen with a smile. Dave raised his head to look at the origin of the sound source,
"Come, baby. How's it going? you healthy?" dave asked with a smile as he looked at his daughter's face. After a few days of not meeting because of work, it was only today that Dave was able to see Aileen.
Aileen smiled. "My good news, papa. How's papa himself? is papa's job well?" ask her too.
Aileen walked into the room and sat down on the sofa that was on the left side of Dave's desk. The place closest to the fireplace is lit.
"She's all right, baby. And thank goodness you are too." Dave caught up with Aileen and sat down next to her daughter.
"What about your content? have you been to the doctor for a routine checkup? how the result.. papa's grandchildren are okay, right?" the consecutive questions that came out of Dave's mouth made Aileen chuckle.
His eyes sparkled and his feelings warmed.. "We're fine, Papa Dave. Papa's grandson is also very healthy" said Aileen.
"The doctor said everything was fine. There's nothing to worry about. Cole took good care of me anyway." he added.
Hearing Cole's name being called, Dave simply nodded. Whatever his decision, as long as his daughter feels happy about it, then he himself will feel happy.
"It's good if that's so, baby. At least that guy can take good care of you." - Dave.
"Although papa does not like it, but he prayed that the married life of his daughter will always be fine, and may your days always be filled with happiness, my dear."
Hearing the heartfelt prayer from her father, Aileen couldn't help but tightly hug Dave's body.
"Thank you, Dave. I love you so much." murmured Aileen. His eyes were already hot with flushed cheeks.
"Papa loves you too dear. Until whenever you're the single most valuable in your life. There will be no one to replace you." said Dave who also hugged Aileen equally tightly.
Every now and then he let out a heavy sigh as he imagined how he would let Aileen be in the tutelage of a foreign man.
"My little daughter.." sighed Dave. Until some time ago even Dave had not thought of how the right way to release his daughter.
He thought that by finding a partner for Aileen, his little girl would have a more solid leaning place, but it turned out that everything was happening even beyond his expectations as a father.
And now, it looks like Dave has to really get ready. After all, his daughter would have a life of her own. As a father, Dave must be heartened to hand Aileen over to the man her daughter has chosen.

"I know papa Dave. I love you too. And soon, we're not just the two of us like before." Aileen smiled. "There will be someone else who can also accompany papa Dave."
"You're right. I can't wait to see this little angel. May you two always be healthy, and you may soon meet your granddaughter."

They haven't spent a long time this season. Because of work, they only met soberly, and therefore also Dave realized, that his helplessness could be something uncontrollable for their relationship.
And even though it's too late, Dave wants to fix everything. He wants to mend his relationship with his daughter, Aileen. Their relationship has been strained, Dave wants them to be close again.
"Aileen, I'm sorry, because you can't give your full papa time. Papa has so many flaws. Maybe also, you think that papa doesn't love you,-
"No papa Dave." interrupted Aileen out of Dave's arms. He stared at the middle-aged face with teary eyes.
"I know very well that papa is the only person who loves sincerely in this world. I know it's papa. So don't say otherwise."
"Until now, papa is still the best father for me. And I'm so grateful to have been born as father Dave's daughter."
"So does my dear Dad. Papa loves you so much, my precious daughter."
