A Decision

After his conversation with Kakashi, the King immediately went to see his Empress. Raido tried to talk about his plan earlier.

A long step led him to the room where his wife and daughter were resting.

The king stopped his steps, when he reached his destination. He wanted to go in but he hesitated a little, but he ended up coming in too because it was very important. And inevitably the King had to discuss it with the Empress.

"Kurenai" called the King quietly to the Empress, she saw Kurenai flinched.

"I want to talk about something" the King added, his face looked solemn.

Kurenai got up, sat back on the bed.

"What's important?" kurenai asked, Raido nodded in agreement.

"True, this is a very important thing" Raido replied calmly.

"Then go ahead, I'll listen to it." Kurenai said with a faint smile.

"I've thought things through, I hope you agree with my decision" Raido said as he looked inside Kurenai.

"Actually I'm confused where to start." she said again, Kurenai still persisted with her faint smile. However, to be honest Kurenai was a bit scared.

"Kurenai, you know what? The kingdom needs an heir in the future and we don't have one" Raido said, before he continued.

"I want one of our daughters to do the job" she continued.

Kurenai was shocked when she heard her husband say, she reflexively looked at her two daughters who were coiled comfortably on the bed.

"But Your Majesty, you know for yourself they're women. Can't a woman be a leader?" kurenai asked astonished at once confused.

Raido smiled faintly upon hearing Kurenai's question, then his countenance returned flat.

"Yes, that's why I want one of them to be the Crown Prince." Kurenai was startled, before Kurenai interrupted Raido again saying.

"Look, it's not that I don't accept their presence. You even know how I look forward to them. I was so happy when I heard their cries. But, as a King I must also think about the welfare of my people, our people. You know very well that my sister is obsessed with replacing me, right?" Raido paused his sentence and he looked at Kurenai, he wanted to know the answer from Kurenai and he smiled as Kurenai nodded then he continued.

"And you know if my sister has what kind of nature, if until she succeeds me then what about the fate of our people later hm.."  He breathed first.

"Listen to me, we're just covering this up for a while until they grow up. We don't completely change her physically either, we'll still treat her as a favorite princess if we're just the three of us. Not even her sister knew her sister was a girl. We're doing this to protect him" Raido hasn't had time to finish his sentence Kurenai interjected.

"But if Genma knows that we have a son, I guess it's gonna put our son's life at risk, don't you? Genma will definitely continue to target his life. No, I don't think it's true I can't possibly let my son be in danger. You also must know that Genma is not the one who messes with his words, don't forget it Your Majesty"

"For this reason we will educate him like a real prince, we will teach him how to fight in order to avoid Genma's attacks. We will also teach him about all systems of government so that he is not easily influenced and fooled by the words of others" said Raido firmly. Raido hopes he can convince his beloved wife.

"Whether it's not too much, I think it'll be difficult to do all that and maybe he'll also find it difficult to accept our decision" Kurenai replied as she looked at her daughter's heart.

"No, I think he can do it and accept my decision. You don't forget that he's my son, and I'm sure my son is capable of it believe me."

"You haven't given us the name of our Crown Prince." Raido finally understood, he looked at his daughter while thinking of a good name for her.

"Yukari? Yuuren, how about Yuuren? Tachibana Yuuren." said Raido with a smile, Kurenai also smiled and nodded.

"Yuuren, nice name" Kurenai replied. They finally smiled at each other and slightly forgot about the problem they were talking about.
