Episode 2: Elena and Leon

For many years in a country of people, it has not been easy. Elena had a lot of difficulties, ranging from interacting with neighbors because of differences in language and culture. Given Elena had never been out of her homeland since she was a child. Unlike the case with Valerie, often she moved around because the service made her accustomed, she quickly adapted to the environment.

To make her comfortable in a foreign country, Valerie accompanies Elena to look around the area where they live, which means teaching the language of foreign countries and the habits of people there. Sometimes Elena gets worried that her son would rather read than play with his friends. If she saw her son wrestling with the book, Elena would ask him to go play. Elena went inside the house to see two people she loved hugging each other. "I wasn't invited?" elena asked pursing her lips funny. The sight made Valerie and Leon laugh.

Valerie patted the sofa next to her, Elena sat down. Valerie remembered she had to tell Elena something. Doubtful at first, he knew how the news would affect the woman beside him.

"I'm going to Korea,"

After Valerie said the sentence, the atmosphere became silent. Elena did not even move just looking straight without speaking. Not getting an answer from Elena, but Leon who spoke.

"Mommy's got activities there?" Leon curious.

Smiling and stroking Leon's head. "Yes son, mommy got a call to Korea. Leon wants to promise mommy a promise?" said Valerie

"Whatever mama." replied Leon.

The boy nodded.

Leon's a kid who understands. Valerie's work will require them to part ways for a while, especially if they are in the middle of the year. He could spend 1 month outside.

"Don't open the door for just anyone, don't follow strangers, okay?" the message that Valerei always delivers.

Raise his hand respectfully. "Who's mommy, so when's mommy coming home?" ask Leon again. Valerei also doesn't know when he's coming home. "After the business of mami is done, mami must go straight home." she wants to calm the hearts of both.

Valerei turned to look at Elena and held her hand then said. "Elena, just for a second, okay?" hearing Valerei's words, Elena simply nodded.

"Next week the Fed will be here. Tomorrow the Fed bodyguard is here, so don't worry. I'll be fine there too. Don't think too much. All is well, pray to the creator for our salvation. " Valerei tried to calm Elena down.

"So when are you leaving?" ask Elena

"Tomorrow morning, Fred has asked someone to pick me up"

Valerie is also heavy left them, she is always haunted by the fear of someone kidnapping both.

"I'll call when I arrive" he said and got in the car.

For almost 5 years they have been here, Valerei only left Elena and Leon if there is service, but the service already has a set time so he knows when to go home. Different this time. The worry he felt was natural.

Elena's eyes on the car in front grew blurry, She became curious, would Valerie meet Rey?

"Mommy?" call Leon to pull Elena's dress slowly.

"Yes son?" he answered but his eyes remained the same.

"Mommy?" again, Leon called.

This time, he saw Leon. "Why son?"

"Said Uncle Fed, we must try not to look sad even though sad, so that the person is not sad."

Elena tilted her face. "Your uncle says that?"

Leon nodded firmly. "Sometimes, we also have to express sadness for that person to know."
