Diana stepped away from Alex, she knew why Alex was acting that way to her, it was because Alex was listening to her words earlier. Diana did not need to feel compassion, she did not want to. Diana did not want to be loved by someone, because she felt sorry for him.

Alex stepped closer to him then pulled his arm, Diana gasped as the unprepared man fell into Alex's arms. Alex hugged her tightly, Diana thrashed. However, Alex's body was so strong that if Diana continued to thrash it would only hurt her body. Silent for a moment, Diana dissolved in Alex's arms as well as Alex.

Alex lightened his embrace and looked at Diana, they looked at each other.

“I told you, no need to feel sorry for myself. ” Diana averted her gaze and Alex released her hand grip on Diana's hand.

“Sorry if you think that, ” She said coldly, Diana looked at her with a thin frown on her forehead.

Diana did not want to add to her increasingly bad mood by talking to Alex. Diana ignored him, reflecting back and still trying to remove the makeup on his face. But Alex stopped him. Arriving at the bottom floor, the room looks so crowded filled with guests, from celebrities to other high-ranking guests, there are several reporters there as well. Now, the distance between Alex and Diana was far enough that Diana could not hear anything they were talking about.

Diana stared at the entire room filled by the guests, they seemed to talk to each other and seemed to know each other, only her own foreign appearance there. Of course, Diana had never attended a high-class party before. Let alone a big party like this, first if there is a school celebration Diana was always banned from joining by her stepmother.

Diana heard faintly at the group of beautiful women there, Diana glanced at him. They seemed to smile and talk, their eyes fixed on one man, Alex. Diana was astonished at what they were talking about Alex. Diana walked closer to them, trying to listen to their conversation more clearly.

Diana scrunched her forehead after hearing it all. Alex is handsome, but Diana is so lucky to have been the wife of the man whom all women aspire to.

“I heard his wife is an unclassy woman. Maybe he could marry Alex for getting into his bed in secret. ” They chuckle. Diana was stunned and wide-eyed, it turned out that was the way they looked at someone.

Diana took a glass containing a drink of deep red, she did not drink it just holding it just following the style of other women. But suddenly his steps became unstable and nudged the crowd of women who were talking earlier. The drink he was holding spilled and hit one of the women's clothes. Then there was a commotion there.

“You! You dare spill wine on my clothes! You ... who are you! I've never seen you before. Are you an uninvited guest and sneak in. Huh! ” he shouted out loud with his fiery anger, pointing at Diana with a look of wonder. Diana frowned.

“What's up? ” asked Alex to Diana, Diana just shook her head slowly staring at Alex.

“Alex, look. My dress is limited edition and this woman who out of nowhere has spilled a glass of wine on my dress. ” Whine, hoping Alex will chase away the woman who has spilled a glass of wine on her clothes.

“Is that true? ” Alex stared at Diana sharply, the woman chuckled.

“Sorry, I accidentally spilled a drink and hit your dress. ” Said Diana, staring at the woman.

Instead of forgiving Diana's reckless deeds, the woman retaliated by spilling wine on Diana in front of Alex. Her hair and face got wet. Diana's appearance became disfigured and the woman smiled with satisfaction.

Alex was wide-eyed, how dare that woman to do it to Diana. Seeing the appearance of Diana who had been out of shape and the smell of alcohol attached to his entire body. Diana just bowed limp and silent, the thick smell of alcohol made her feel unwell and dizzy.

“You! How dare you!” alex's eyes were on the woman.

“She just accidentally spilled a little drink on you and you even doused her like that, didn't she apologize to you. ” Add it
