...Chapters 31. The Demand of Villagers....

Currently the meeting hall in the first floor Mansion was being filled with villagers who were victims of the bandit attack.

I think they must have been scared when they arrived at the Dungeon but, upon arrival there my thinking was wrong. The villagers seem to have adapted and it was thanks to Keisha as well as Arin who was crying in the arms of a middle-aged woman.

I'm guessing that middle-aged woman is Grandma from Arin.

When I got there, all directions were directed to me as if asking for a word of welcome from me and I did it.

"Welcome to my Dungeon, I am Nolan Cahya the owner of this Dungeon. You don't need to worry because I sincerely helped you to stay for a while in this Mansion."

When I heard my words, all the people exchanged smiles.

Then, I ordered Nier and Muru to return to their activities and they disappeared.

Moments later, Arin walks with a man her age she has a tall body and has blonde hair. They came to me.

"Mr Nolan, it's Lazio. The son of our village chief" said Arin, who introduced the blond man.

The man named Snow bowed his body and introduced himself.

"I am Lazio, the son of the village chief. Thank you to Mr. Nolan for helping us" Lazio replied.

"If you're his son, where's the village chief?"

Lazio lowered her head, "Father and mother are not safe."

For a moment I thought of a married couple who were killed in front of a house that was quite large from Nier's perspective.

"Sorry, Mr. Nolan. Both my parents did not survive" Lazio replied.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry."

"Mr Nolan, can we ask you something?" lazio Pinta.

I heard that little smile, "Lazio, we better talk somewhere else. Come with me!"

"Okay, Mr. Nolan," replied Lazio who was following me.

Then, I took him to the meeting room where Lazio and Arin were sitting in front of me while Miku was standing behind me.

"Then, what's your request?"

"We want to stay here until the war is over" Lazio replied.

I who heard that was surprised, "War? whatchu mean?"

Lazio also explained that the kingdom of Bellanova and the Kingdom of Salvation were at war for reasons that he did not know. However, as a result of the war that suffered were small people.

Hearing that, I let out a long sigh because I was reminded of a former life in which the Officials always thought of themselves and forgot about the suffering of the little people.

"I can help you but, you have two choices?!"

"What is that, Mr Nolan?" ask Lazio.

"One, as I said before, I'll give this place to you to stay with the food and drink you'll have to find yourself outside the Dungeon."

"And, the second one?" ask Lazio.

"You will live and work here as my slaves."

Hearing that, Arin and Lazio were shocked. "What slave?"

"Right, you will be slaves to this Dungeon even so, I will establish a village in this Dungeon where you can manage and consume the plantation as well as the farm on that floor and your safety, he said, I guarantee it.

"Then, will we sell if we choose the second one?" ask Lazio.

I laughed faintly at that, "I am not as low as you are, O people. I just don't want to harm the Dungeon by bringing all of you here and the status of slaves, to me it's just the status of workers."

"If so, are children also required to work?" ask Lazio.

"That should have been. I think a child could work to water the plantation or pick the crops."

"So, so. I understand.." said Lazio who was silent.

Looking at Lazio, I think he is considering my words so from that, I will give him time.

"Well, if that's worth considering then give me an answer tomorrow morning!"

The moment I said that, Lazio shook his head and swallowed his saliva.

"Like that's not necessary. I'll answer it now!" I am sure Lazio.

"And what's your answer?"

"We will be your slaves and will live in the Dungeon village!"

I smiled hearing that, "Alright, I appreciate your decision and I will prepare so now, you rest!"

"Okay, Mr. Nolan," Lazio and Arin replied.

Then they left the room.

After that, I took a long breath. "Being that many slaves in the Dungeon? am I crazy?" I also leaned my body on the chair. "Aah, shit! my human side like it's not gone yet."
