...Chapters 10. Negotiation ...
I never expected anyone to apply for a contract for the protection of the novice adventurers and I was not sure about it however, the female figure negotiator named Iris felt confident in her words.
Indeed, If I remember a few months ago there were adventurers being chased by horned wolves and it was proven that my Dungeon was in the hunting ground of budding adventurers namely the Meiya Forest.
Seeing the seriousness of Iris, I also tried to follow the direction of her conversation.
"If I agree to the contract, what's the benefit for me?"
I'm sure Iris isn't a fool. He must have a mature plan.
"Obviously, the three Associations will not conquer your Dungeon" Iris replied.
"Then, what else?"
Hearing my words, Iris fell silent. "Eh? Anu ... Is that not enough?"
Even if it looks enough for me and I won't die. If I were human perhaps, I would instantly approve of it however, right now I am not a human but rather a puppet race that is their enemy.
I breathed and was a little against it.
"If that were all impossible. Do you know the laws of the world? Which, right now I promise to protect the natural enemy that should have conquered the Dungeon and what Miss Iris said is appropriate and not an advantage. Give me two more benefits!"
"I understand" answered Iris
Iris who heard my words, she clasped her hands, closed her eyes and thought of the advantage she could give me.
And, I smiled because I managed to fight the negotiation.
A while later, Iris opened her eyes and expressed my other advantage.
"The association will pay a monthly fee for that protection" Iris said.
I smiled, Iris didn't take long to figure out a solution. Professional negotiators are different.
"alright. Then, how much does it cost?"
"500,000 Vale per month. How, you take it?"
Although, Iris filed a price. I don't understand money at all. Maybe after this, I will ask the Great Sage to teach me.
"Is that equivalent to the monthly income of a class A adventurer?"
"No, if calculated it's equivalent to a class B monthly income," Iris replied.
I was wrong to think however, getting off one class was no problem.
"Alright, I accept it. So what's the third one?"
"For the third one, I guess it's from the Dungeon Master himself. Do you have a plan?"
I suddenly fell silent, Iris was really smart to have a tongue-lick that I had not thought of any plan.
However, at first glance I saw my plantation that had started to harvest and there I thought of something.
"Give me the right to trade with his city entry permit!"
Hearing that, Iris smiled. "Is the Dungeon Master interested in trade?"
"Wouldn't it be interesting, if I could sell the crops or items I've made from this Dungeon."
"Alright, I understand," replied Iris who looked doubtful.
Although, Iris looks according to however, I must not be careless because I am still a monster not a human.
Then I tried asking another question.
"Iris, how do you convince the city's supporters or rather the novice adventurers?"
"I think the Association is able to convince them especially if it's profitable" Iris replied.
I smiled at her, "Yes that thing I know. But, not a few adventurers felt disgusted and afraid of a Dungeon Master. Isn't that so?" I said what made Iris cornered.
Honestly from the bottom of my heart, I don't want to be hostile to humans yet, nor do I want to be taken advantage of by humans either.
"I know, But, does Lord Dungeon have a plan?"
Iris cleverly diverted the search for ideas and returned to me for her solution.
I took a deep breath and thought for a moment something.
Iris, who heard that, opened her eyes wide.
"That's an interesting idea! Is Lord Dungeon ready for your Dungeon to be made into an auction venue?"
Actually it's a crazy idea and high risk even so, I'm not afraid. If the humans dare to betray then, I will not hesitate to kill them all either and now, I want to know whether they are trustworthy humans or not.
"With the auction, maybe I can gain the trust of you and
if Miss Iris doesn't mind this plan then, I'll make this Dungeon's auction hall for you with Do you approve of it?"
"Of course, I agree. But, does the Dungeon Master want to participate? If it does then it will benefit both sides" Iris said.
"All right, I'll participate."
"And, are there any regulations regarding the items at auction?"
"none. I'm just providing the rest of the place up to you."
"Then, what about the storage cost of the auction item?" ask Iris.
"No cost."
"I understand and the last question, when was the auction held?"
"You guys set it up. Then, what do you think, Miss Iris?"
"What if the beginning of which month is 10 days after today?" answer Iris.
"Alright, I'll prepare it."
"Thank you for the cooperation, Mr. Dungeon. I'll tell the Chairman of the Association," Iris said with her head lowered.
Gordo and his group also followed Iris's movements.
I smiled and nodded my head. Then I asked them something.
"Miss Iris and all. Don't call me Lord Dungeon! Just call me Nolan!"
"Well, Mr. Nolan," said Iris.
With this, the negotiations are over.
After that, look at Nier.
"Nier, tell Miku to prepare her food."
"Okay, Master," replied Nier.
After that, Nier telepathically told Miku and told her to enter.
A moment later, Miku and several male dolls came carrying various foods and served them on the table.
Miku's presence made the male adventurers blush and the women smiled wryly.
I who saw it smiled to myself and shifted the reawakening reverie of those who looked at Miku.
"Before you go, let's eat together!"
"Well," replied Iris and the others.
Then, we ate together and the adventurers greedily ate the food.
I saw her smiling happily because the dishes of the male dolls were accepted and eaten.
After eating, Iris and the others left the Dungeon. Meanwhile, I was still sitting on the dining chair while sipping Wine in the glass.
Then, Nier expressed her opinion.
"Master, are you really cooperating with Humans?"
"No, I don't fully believe it yet and we have 10 days to develop. Nier, Miku! prepare yourself!"
"Well, Master," replied in unison Nier and Miku.
