Chapter 8: The Golden Weapon

Lilir wind blew away Cassandra's fine hair, a day so bright it seemed to support her to be glued still in front of the park.

From the beginning of Felix's departure, Cassandra just sat quietly on the park bench without speaking a bit. Until finally the sun began to rise, and he was still sitting glued to the same place without even talking.

A worried Lucas finally ordered one of the servants to feed him, and persuaded him to eat even a little.

"Vidya, I want to ask you to bring some small food to the park, then persuade Cassandra to eat even a little" Lucas told one of the palace's loyal servants.

"Well Mr. Lucas I'll bring you soon" said Vidya.

Vidya also began walking towards the park with a tray containing snacks such as some kinds of cakes, and drinks.

"Daughter of Cassandra .. I bring you food, eat even if it's a little,"

"Why do you call me princess?" cassandra asked who was confused when she heard him.

"According to the orders of the Prince myself and the other servants should call you princess" Vidya replied.

"Eummm .. but I'm sorry, I just wanted to keep enjoying this silence before Felix comes back to the palace, because it helps me to calm my mind, and I'm not sure if there's Felix I can calm down, he'll definitely bother me" Cassandra just wants to be alone until Felix gets home, he does not care if he is hungry or not because the most important thing now is his own calmness.

"But it's getting very hot today, I'm afraid Cassandra's daughter will be dehydrated" with a worried look on Vidya's face.

Cassandra was immediately shocked when she saw the look on Vidya's face that was so worried about her, when she was a vampire, but why did she even care about humans like her, why did Vidya not let me alone? vampires love to see people suffer.

Cassandra gave her smile to Vidya, and the smile calmed her worries, "Relax, I'm fine you don't worry, just leave me alone it makes me so much better, yeah I somehow feel like someone's watching but maybe it's just an illusion of my mind."

Lucas was immediately surprised when Cassandra said that she felt the presence of someone who was watching her. Impossible! but why is Cassandra so sensitive to someone's presence? Lucas began to be a little amazed by his more ability.

"Maybe what I feel is because of the seal on my neck, this seal is directly connected to Felix, so maybe that's why I feel the presence of others here, I was alone" said Cassandra.

After that Lucas decided to leave the park for a while, he did not want to disturb the silence that Cassandra asked for. Lucas chose to leave Cassandra alone for the next hour because he wanted to see Cassandra calmer, and was able to eat at least a piece of cake on the tray, Lucas ordered all the servants to stay away from the park for the next hour.

But unfortunately Lucas just left Cassandra fifteen minutes, not in the hope that free time was even utilized by intruders to enter and approach Cassandra.

A cloaked man suddenly approached Cassandra after jumping the castle fortress, it really made Cassandra very scared.

Cassandra was immediately aghast with a pale countenance, and also worried about her safety, "Who are you?! don't come any closer!"

In short, an hour later, Cassandra's facial features had changed, and she began to water the plants around the garden instead of just sitting still, she occasionally ate the cake left by the servants for her. That made Lucas very happy when he saw it, because Cassandra was cheerful again, and not moody anymore.

But soon from that came the voice of the guards who were immediately fierce, and like shooting his bow-bow arrows towards the outside of the palace. It makes Lucas worried about Cassandra's safety, he immediately approached Cassandra and asked her to return to the room first.

"Mr. Princess .." said Lucas who was standing right behind Cassandra.

"Who are you?" ask Cassandra.

"I will answer later, now I ask the princess to enter the palace first, because it looks like there is an attacker outside the castle fortress, I am worried about the princess's safety," Lucas replied.

Cassandra complies with Lucas' words, in her bedroom window she sees three men wearing black robes like someone who just gave her a golden dagger, and sure enough one of them was the same guy he had just met in the park.

Cassandra asked Lucas, "Areally who are they?"

"They are human beings who are different from other human beings, they have special blood. Although they were not as powerful as the vampires, they had the tools to take down the vampires - weapons made of gold and washed with white rose water."

Casaandra asked again, "What is white rose water?"

"White rose water is water that can only be made by their leaders, and is often referred to as a holy priest. But somehow the white rose water can come back there while their priest has been killed by the brother of Prince Felix," replied Lucas.

Cassandra became aware of the man's intentions, perhaps she just wanted to take good care of herself while still living in the palace, because no one knows the crime of vampires even though now Felix always keep it.

Cassandra immediately turned away from the window, and immediately hid the golden dagger under her pillow, because he believed that Felix or the servants would not dare to disturb him if he was in the room.
