“Damn we will all remember this!”
“Hmph you can all try at any time,” a brown-eyed boy said to the thugs who had retreated.
“Man ~ no end for them, this is already the fourth group today. Have they never learned?” He grumbled after the figure was nowhere to be seen.
“I'm afraid they're just fools and they probably won't be the last, after all they're just replaceable chess pawns,” comments a green-eyed blonde beside him.
“Well whatever, let's get our business done and get back to the academy,” said the brown-eyed boy as he began walking down the street grumbling himself.
“Lucas, you have no right to complain when you bring this for yourself,” Blondie said.
“What mistakes have I made?” Wearing a wry smile, Lucas scratched his head.
“You stuck the stupid prince into a chair in the cafeteria, not to mention there were hundreds of people watching him tear his pants trying to get up.” Blondie rubbed her forehead, feeling a headache coming on.
“if there is no bad news, everyone should be happy and calm.”
“Ya, that's him.”
Let's just forget it, if there are more of my bad guys who will take care of it, so what should we do, is bring another lunchbox? ”
The two continued walking down the street discussing about their current request without realizing the two gray-robed men were following them.
At an intersection, one of them stops on another street, in front of them their target is handed a package to a man at a kiosk.
As they got closer, they took out daggers from under their robes and increased their speed faster and for faster until they ran at a fast pace.
At an intersection, one of them stops on another street, in front of them their target is handed a package to a man at a kiosk.
Blondie felt a bad premonition and barely caught the figure rushing towards them at the corner of her eye as she pushed Lucas out of the way.
Lucas' eyes widened not only because of the push but also because he saw his friend stabbed in the chest.
Shouts and screams of terror echoed around them as the blond boy fell to the ground in a pool of his own blood.
Elea! You !” you fucking fuck !!!" Lucas Jumped slashing at the cloaked figure quickly, but the person easily avoided it. He would follow up with a push but Lucas caught the light on his right side, He swung his sword and managed to deflect back the arrow, which he had, on top of the roof he saw another cloaked figure was reloading their arrows.
The minor annoyance cost him dearly as the other attackers swung their daggers and managed to land a deep cut on Lucas' left shoulder.
Lucas tried to retaliate with a horizontal slash but the attackers quickly dodged and fended off their daggers using his sword.
Lucas leaped back just in time to avoid the passing arrow right near his head just a moment ago, he glanced at the long bloody wound on his wrist before taking out a glass bottle filled with thick green liquid from the brown leather sack on his waist.
He bit and unclogged the bottle before spitting it out and drinking the green liquid. After he finished throwing away the vial and preparing his horses, he did not need to find out the wound had healed.
Seeing the surprised reaction of his opponent, Lucas grinned, never expecting that an ordinary person had a healing potion huh, he mentally scoffed before attacking the cloaked figure.
Back and forth continued as he attacked, fought, blocked and deflected the attacks and bolts from the two attackers although this time he fare better as he got more and more accustomed to his enemy's pattern.
The attacking man wearing the dagger felt irritated and guilty, when he took the contract, the source told him that there were only two ordinary people who had no names. It should have been an easy prey, but the brat in front of him had taken out a fourth healing potion, something that an ordinary person could not possibly possess in large quantities.
Not to mention his attacks and his comrades made fewer and fewer attacks against him as if with each exchange the child grew stronger. frustration began to appear within him as he struggled in time before the guards came and also from seeing the boy continue to glance sideways and grin happily.
He decided to take the risk and ran towards the boy, as if reading his mind his partner shot another arrow leading the boy to fend him off.
