CHAPTER 19
As the tiger lunges forward, Lucas does the same and takes it straight away so he and the tiger have a fight, where their powers push each other. While Lucas held back the tiger's sharp metal claws, I walked to the back and attacked the front.
It seemed to sense me that the tiger's tail feathers had suddenly condensed and turned into sharp steel spikes and in the moment swung it towards me, seeing that I left my attack to block the incoming tail attacking me
As the tail made contact with my sword, two arrows walked to its side, but once again, the feathers condensed and became something like body armor and fended off the arrows.
The tiger's tail hit me and pushed me slightly back, at the same time the tiger also stretched its neck to try to bite Lucas's face.
“There was an idea of Elea?” Lucas asked with a big smile on his face.
“The feathers seem to need to condense at one point to be hard enough, if we can try to divide the concentration then maybe we can hurt it,” Elea answered while shooting two arrows and shooting the other two at the end of her sentence.
“Hey gosh, your spell is ready?” Lucas shouted to Luna in the back as he attacked the tiger again.
Luna did not answer her question as she concentrated on her spell, she could be seen sparkling a faint blue light and over time the luster turned brighter.
At her side Stephanie glittered in a white light as she watched the battle prepared to provide support to anyone who needed her, just then she lifted her wand and threw “light shield”.
“Good Steph!” Lucas exclaimed and continued his thrust until it touched, suddenly the tiger seemed dumbfounded by what had happened and was unable to react in time when Lucas' sword managed to pierce through his front left leg before swiping at it. Lucas managed to jump just in time, but the claw still left a long wound on his left arm.
Before it could put it down, the claw roared in pain as it got a scratch from one side and the arrow was deflected on the other, then turned its attention to the prey scratching it.
While busy with Lucas, Vayne takes the opportunity to sneak in and cut off the tiger's side but he's not fast enough to react when he's thrown into a tree by the tiger's tail, get him some shallow bleeding holes in his chest and three broken ribs.
The tiger did not give him time to rest as he directly stormed the falling Vayne, but halfway inside, he stopped and jumped back to dodge some spears made of ice. After the tiger was hit by a high-pressure burst of water, it did not do any real damage to it, but it could move its wet fur.
Realizing this he let out an angry roar when he saw the fox in the clothes he knew as a witch, while returning the fox to focus on its prey, he grew even more angry that he had returned to his feet.
The tiger began to stomp its feet on the ground, thinking it was throwing a tantrum and at this time vulnerable Lucas wanted to sue for it. But before he could do it, he heard Vayne yell, “jump!” then he saw her jump from her previous position, not knowing why or what she had to jump for after seeing her friend do it.
Unbeknownst to him, everyone behind him also jumped away from their previous positions. All he knew was that as he leaped 1 m, sharp thorns protruded from his previous position, if he were slower he would be pricked.
