Chapter 55

Alex took a rough breath with his eyes staring at the vast ocean that lay before them, he said. "Until when do you continue to be in these shackles, Afif?".Alex asked, leaving Afif speechless for a moment.

"Sometimes I'm thinking, is that hope still there for me?" Afif lowered his face, sadness and tightness gnawing at his heart.

"If you need my help, it's very easy for me" said Alex, who remained focused on the ocean.

"It is painful, but it is more painful to see Fatimah hurt" Afif replied in a voice that began to rumble.

"I'm sure Mark is the right person to look after my Fatimah" Afif said with a smile. However, his voice was increasingly hoarse, indicating that his heart was not okay.

"Don't smoke too much, it's not good for your health!" Alex said with great emphasis. Thousands of times Alex reminds Afif of the dangers of cigarettes, but Afif only considers if the advice is just a last breeze.

"Fatimah never forbade me to smoke. But he always said, if cigarette smoke is more harmful to the people around him than smokers." Afif said while laughing blandly.

"Om very understanding, what is the reason that makes you love Fatimah so much? She's a really great woman, just like your mama" Alex said with a smile.

"Power battery life on this phone, can last up to several months. But, you don't have to worry, I've prepared another phone of this kind with the same card" explained Alex again.

Afif felt a radiating warmth in his heart. Inexplicably, each of Alex's attention and actions gives her a different meaning. However, Afif brushed off his feelings. He believes that the affection and attention Alex gives is a form of caring between om and nephew.

"Thank you for your help and attention all this time."Afif said, while pocketing a match-shaped cell phone into his jeans pocket, and immediately threw the match he had into the middle of the ocean.

"Please be good! I have to go, now!" alex said as he patted Afif's shoulder slowly.

Alex confirmed the position of his hat. He immediately walked quickly towards the crowd among the crew and passengers of the ship.

Afif stared at Alex's back, before it disappeared in the crowd. He also left the place, driving his motorbike to the Sony residence.

Before long, Afif arrived at Sony's house. He immediately asked Afif to accompany him to meet guests from Turkey who would come to restaurant XX. Of course the Sony command made Arman's face flushed with anger. He does not accept if Sony believes Afif more in his appeal.

"Look at the Afif! I will make your life full of regrets and suffering so that your life will be tormented, until you alone do not want it!" Arman said inwardly with his sneaky grin.

When Afif and Sony were preparing to meet their guests, suddenly some bodyguards carrying the body of Arsyad who had been drooping weak, even, almost fainted

"Afif, we're almost too late. Let, those who take care of that bod*h man!" Sony said with a cold and stern face.

Afif paused his intention, he could only stare at Arsyad's nanar with a rumble of anger in his chest. "This must have been a maniac like that!" Afif said inwardly, clenching his palms tightly.
