Arman choked to hear Afif's confession, he stared intently at Afif's face, which was right in front of him.

"Fatimah has asked me to meet her parents. That means Loe's parents are khan too?"

Today Afif, Anton and Kiki have arrived at the Darul Hikmah boarding school.

Afif's heart was pounding even more, as he looked at the face of such an unpretentious middle-aged man and a young man who had met him.

The young man who was none other than Ilham, seemed to squint his eyes at Afif. While the middle-aged man who was none other than Haji Maulana smiled towards them, with his friendly attitude allowing them to sit down.

They introduced themselves, and Afif immediately expressed their intention to study in pesantren.

"So you want to study here?"

"Yes sir, but I'm taking care of the thesis, can I stay in this pesantren while going back and forth to campus?" asked Afif, not daring to look towards Haji Maulana.

Haji Maulana smiled.

"Your intentions are very good, learning to reach the world and the hereafter. God willing all will be made easy" replied Haji Maulana with his shady eyes.

Afif looked nervous, Ilham continued to look at Afif full of questioning.
