Two years later..

The Dona family is currently in mourning. They are devastated by the departure of Marcel and Mira.

Marcel and Mira die in a plane crash while Marcel is on a business trip to America with Mira.

"Take Evan as your brother and from now on you are Mama's children."

Carlos was crying in Dona's arms. Frans walked up to them and hugged them.

Carlos and Evan are now in the same school. Evan introduces Carlos as his younger brother. Many like Carlos, because Carlos is sociable and kind. He's not as ignorant as Evan.

Meysa temporarily stays at Dona's house to help take care of Carlos. Although Dona can actually take care of him on her own, Meysa insists on taking care of Carlos.
