The Perfect Show Window

The Perfect Show Window
CHAPTER 3

After their two grandchildren agreed, Max and Irwan scheduled a meeting between the two young men.

Despite her objections, Luna had no other choice. He finally gave up his dream for his grandfather.

With a heavy heart he submitted his resignation from the company he worked for.

He comforted himself repeatedly. Trying to dictate to himself that this was the best option for him. "True, dreams can be pursued again. Careers can be pioneered again but grandfather is not!! This is the right choice! This is the right choice!!"

But no matter how hard he tried. It was hard for him to lie to his broken heart in pieces.

The dream that he had long dreamed of, was finally in front of his eyes. But in a day, all that he had to let go.

Luna breathed a heavy sigh. He then looked at his reflection in the mirror. Lamenting his fate, he forgot to get dressed. He was scheduled to have dinner with Bryan.

He slowly rubbed a little makeup on his face to make it look fresh. Then she changed her clothes to the ones that were prepared.

After combing his slightly tangled hair, he set off towards the meeting place.

Brads Hotel, a five-star hotel belonging to the Bradley family. Which happened to be there, Bryan served as his general manager.

When he arrived, he was directed to the table where Bryan was. Bryan was waiting for him.

For a moment Luna was in a daze. The man in front of him was very much different from the man he remembered.

The last time I met Bryan was the last year Luna was in High School. Bryan was in college. His appearance was disheveled and unkempt. He looked like a middle-aged man who was unemployed at that time.

When looking at Bryan's appearance at that time, what is in the mind of a Kaluna Levronka is 'om-om strange'!

But the Bryan he now sees is very different.

The man looked handsome in a full suit. Greeting Luna kindly, her smile was beautiful.

Odd om-om shadow, just vanished from Luna's head.

"Hallo, how's Luna doing?!" Greet Bryan. "During not seeing!"

All this time they only knew each other's faces and names. Never once held a greeting, even though several times attended family meals.

For both of them, each other is not related. Like someone who is only passed by while on the road.

But it turns out that fate is playing them. Two people who feel they will never have a relationship, must sit together to make an arranged marriage.

****

The tomboyish High School boy turns out to be a very beautiful sweet girl. How could the boy who looked about to hit whenever approached, turn into a graceful and elegant girl?! Bryan could hardly believe his vision, if the girl did not show up and approach his desk.

"Hallo, how's Luna doing?!" Greet Bryan. "During not seeing!"

"Hallo, Bryan's mom!" Reply Luna.

"What do you want to order?!" Bryan handed the menu to Luna.

"What aja!" Sahut Luna. He did not come to eat. There was something important he wanted to say "Mas definitely knows better than me!"

Hearing Luna's words, Bryan immediately called the waiter and ordered the best food at his restaurant.

"How was your flight from Paris?! What's tiring?!" Bryan base stale.

"Ah, it's normal!" Luna Sahut.

"Mn... When did you get back there?!" Bryan asked trying to find a topic.

"Oh!" Bryan's shocked. He didn't suspect it at all. He immediately fell silent, realizing the aggravation implied from the words that Luna had thrown.

It is true that his appearance changed, but his nature was not.

Noticing Bryan's awkwardness, Luna then said. "Are you threatened by your grandfather to come here?!"

Bryan was surprised, he did not expect Luna to question him bluntly.

"Really.." Bryan said. If only his grandfather did not mention giving up his inheritance to his cousin, Bryan would still firmly reject this matchmaking despite whatever happens.

"Me too!" I'm Luna.

"Sorry, it's all because of my brother!" Bryan.

If not for her brother's irresponsible deeds, the two of them wouldn't have gotten caught up in this kind of complicated matter. Bryan did feel angry, but on the one hand also pity his brother.

Elvina receives an arranged marriage with Adrian also due to the same threat as Bryan.

At first Elvina just wanted to calm his grandfather, by meeting Adrian according to the orders of the grandfather. He refused the match at the right time. But who would have thought, Adrian even fell in love with him. So Elvina could not escape the match, even though she rebelled.

Several times his grandfather threatened and suppressed Elvina. So desperately, Elvina tried to like Adrian.

But in the end, Elvina who was no longer able to escape from her marriage.

Bryan did not want it to happen to him and Luna, so he said. "I know you're not here out of your own will. You don't have to force yourself! If we refuse this matchmaking together, surely our grandfather will finally understand as well!"

"Do you think so?!" Ask Luna.

"Of course, I'm sure if we both refuse, they won't be able to do anything!" Bryan is sure.

"I don't think so..." Reply Luna. "If indeed just by refusing can affect the hearts of our two grandfathers, I think the thing that happened the other day at the wedding will never happen!"

"If indeed by refusing this matchmaking could end, they wouldn't bother threatening us to this extent, would they?!" Imbuh Luna, "Defying is not the answer!"

"Then... What say?!" Ask Bryan then.

"Instead of refusing, we better accept it!" Luna.

"What?!" Bryan was shocked, "Do you really want to have a relationship with me?!"

"Gdh..." Luna held back a laugh, "That's not what I mean!"

Bryan frowning. He did not understand the meaning of this girl in front of him.

'He said he accepted, right?! How the hell does that mean?! You labil boy!!' inner Bryan.

"We can pretend to accept it!" Luna.

Luna then revealed her idea. He invited Bryan to a wedding show window. The marriage relationship pretends to be in front of others.

Outside of the show window relationship, they are free to live a personal life. Free to connect with those they love. And do not interfere with each other's affairs.

Luna called it 'win win solution'. Where both their grandfathers would be happy and they get their wish, without having to hurt each other's feelings.

"I'm sure if we reject it, both of our grandfathers will still insist! We will also continue to be shackled by this matchmaking!" Luna.

"After a year or two after marriage, we can get divorced for the right reasons. That way we can be separated from the bond of marriage and also arranged!"
