CHAPTER 2

"No cake, I don't want to get married!!" Luna turns him down when her grandfather reveals he wants to marry Elvina's sister, Bryan Ethan Bradley.

"Bryan is a good man, he is also handsome and intelligent!" Persuade grandfather.

"That's not the problem!" Reply Luna, "I don't want to get married because I want to chase my dream cake!!"

"Didn't Grandpa say I was free to pursue my dreams!? Why does Grandpa suddenly want me to get married?!" Ask Luna.

He came just to watch his brother's wedding, not a second had it crossed his mind to do the same.

"But pa, think again. Would it not be better if we had just finished this matchmaking plan?!" Darian said, "This is not the time of Siti Nurbaya, let them choose their own future!"

Hearing the words of his son, Irwan glared. He shouted in a huff, "How dare you say that!!!!"

"You know how big of a promise between our families, right?! It's not just between me and Max, it's been around a long time!" Said Irwan, "This matchmaking should continue, no matter what!!!"

Hearing the words of his grandfather, Adrian who had just been silent finally opened his voice.

"It's enough cake!" He said, "Didn't grandfather understand it?!"

"How did Elvina and I end up?!" Adrian. "Did you want Luna and Bryan to experience the same thing?!"

Although disappointed and angry at what Elvina has done to him, Adrian understands that it is not entirely Elvina's fault.

People who encourage them to be together also have a share of the problems that occur.

At first he did not dispute matchmaking for his children. That's a good thing too, because then his children will marry people who are obviously bebet seedlings. But now Felicia doubted it.

"She's not the girl you don't know, she's Adrian's sister!!" Max.

"Yes, he is Adrian's brother. But we never talk to each other!" Bryan Sahut.

It is true, Bryan is close to Adrian because the man is his brother's girlfriend. But it had nothing to do with Luna. He really did not know Luna.

"How could he and I get married?!" Bryan's frustrated. "I'm not sure their families would approve of this, anyway. After what happened the other day"

Bryan knew for sure, how angry Adrian family was with his family. Her brother had humiliated them with his irresponsible actions. There was no way they would willingly make the same bond again this time.

"This match will not end just because of that kind of thing, Bryan!" His grandfather said, "You don't have to think about it, just do what I tell you to do!"

"But cake..." Bryan wants to argue. But his father squeezed his hand firmly, blocking Bryan from continuing his words.

Ethan is already feeling very guilty about the attitude of his daughter who ran away from her marriage. He knew very well the meaning of this matchmaking for his father.

Ethan really didn't know his daughter would be that close.

He did not want to make his father angry again and make him fall down like before.

"If you don't do it, all the inheritance that should be yours will be given to Arion!!" Threaten Max then.

When Max threatens his grandson with an inheritance, Irwan threatens his family with his health.

After his wish was rejected. Irwan went on a hunger strike and became ill. He refused treatment until his wish was fulfilled.
