Chapter 88 - THE PEBINOR

"Mbak Mel, how old is she?" Ask Melisa.

"This year it's two seven." Reply Melisa lirih. 

"Hmmm, Mel's younger than me." Dara replied while chuckling, making Melisa feel a little in disbelief.

"How old are you?" 

"Two nines, same age as Arvin." Dara replied with a sweet smile, until her eyes narrowed like a crescent moon. Pretty, but she has to remember Arvin said she can't be insecure. Because she is also beautiful. 

"Ohh, yes.."

"So, what's the matchmaking continuation, Dar?" Arvin's question made Dara change her facial expression.

"Ngapain is that so? Make badmood."

"I'm just nanya, Dara."

"Yes, if you already have a partner, why is it still about matchmaking? I'm so happy to see you've got a gini cake partner." Babe Dara while chuckling.

"Happy why, brother?" Ask Melisa.

"I'm still going to marry Melisa, Dar. I've done something to him and I don't want to be considered an irresponsible man, so I'm going to marry Melisa even without papah's blessing." Arvin answered making Melisa look up at the handsome man's face wistfully, but Arvin instead smiled sweetly towards her as if saying that she was fine.

"Yes, I also think like that, Dar."

"What's the job going on here, Vin?" Ask Dara again.

"What job?"

"Aren't you the one who's been managing the company?"

"Hmmm, yeah. But now, I've regressed myself. I don't want to be bothered with things that will make me complicated later. Papah doesn't think of me as his son either, so what else should I do there? There's no more." Reply Arvin at length.

"True, what you said is true. Keep fighting, spirit. You can, I support your decision." Dara replied with a smile, she clasped Melisa's hand and smiled at the woman. 

Honestly, this is so surprising because it turns out Arvin if he really loves, he will be willing to let go of everything he has achieved just to be with the woman he chose, he said, like this time. He was absolutely amazed at the man's bravery, but even so he wouldn't fall in love with Arvin. Enough on the limit of admiration, he did not want to disappoint his lover's struggle as well.

"It doesn't have to be that way, ma'am." Dara answered with a smile.

"I'll try it." Melisa smiled towards Dara, countered by a smile also by the woman. 

"As a woman, we are worth fighting for, Mel." Said Dara slowly.

"What do you mean?"

"I know, Mel's mom is feeling inferior or less confident maybe?" Dara asked, obviously it made Melisa stunned. How could Dara know this? What from his gestures, or from his facial expressions that are too obvious?

"Why do you know?"

"I know from your eyes, Ma'am." Dara replied, she turned her head towards Melisa and looked at the woman deeply. 

"Yes, I honestly feel that way. Because I think Arvin's a regular guy, not the heir to a company. While me? Only ash-upik, who may dream of becoming a princess. I'm a poor man, Dara. I don't want others to just judge that I want to be with Arvin because I see treasure, but not at all. I love Arvin for who he is, even I love him when I don't know anything." 

"I understand, ma'am. So you have to fight together, look at Arvin who is willing to sacrifice all of his for the sake of being with Mommy Mel, that means Arvin really loves mbak sincerely." Dara Obviously.

"But, what about her parents' blessing?"

"No problem, I also said that blessing can be given over time. Om Darren will also melt later, just trust Arvin. That's what you have to do at the moment, fight together not to let Arvin feel that he is fighting alone ya mbak." 

"Yes, thank you Dara. The man who got you must be a very lucky man. Your heart is so good." Melisa's words made Dara smile small.

"Bak don't flatter me like this, I'm ashamed. She is also a perfect person."

"No, I still have a lot of flaws." 

"Let the lack be completed by Arvin, madam. So you can complement each other's flaws." Said Dara again which made Melisa's heart warm. 

What Dara said was very true, he had to fight with Arvin, supporting his every step because it was all for the happiness of both of them. Do not let Arvin feel that he is fighting alone, because fighting alone is not wearing, because he has experienced it himself.

Melisa nodded her head, her two eyes glazed over. Never had she gotten as much affection as Arvin had given her, not even from her parents, she did not get it at all.

"Why are you smiling at me? I can't stand it."

"Why are you here, who is it?"

"Waiting for a future husband, he's sure to meet here all lunch." Answer Dara. Like a coincidence, before long came a tall and sturdy man with an attractive handsome face. Although in Melisa's eyes, Arvin was the most handsome. 

"Darling.." Call Dara, the man approached with his friendly face.

"I'm serious about this, which is." Her reply made Dara giggle amusedly look at the behavior of this man who will be her husband.

"Yes, who's kidding."

"You guys want to talk about matchmaking, right? Honey, come on. I'm gonna fight for my blessing again." 

"H-ahh? What the hell are you, which. If anything, you don't see who's here?" Ask Dara who made the man forget the figure of the woman who was introduced by the lover.

"They're dating?"

"Yes, they're a couple, baby." Dara answered that made the man's face sparkle.

"Ohh, thank goodness then. I thought you guys were here talking about that matchmaking." His words again made Dara laugh. 

"No, I'm the same Arvin's got a choice, baby." 

"Good, then my struggle will not be in vain. Hehe."

"Hmmm, this is Richard." 

"Greetings." Richard said with a sincere smile. They also continued the lunch with interspersed by warm chats. 

After the meal, Arvin and Melisa return to the apartment. Tomorrow, they'll be home on the bus. Because Arvin felt that the car used to drive him, now is no longer his right. Let it be, he'll be an ordinary person now. It doesn't matter, if he's with Melisa then everything will be fine.
