Chapter 41 - THE PEBINOR

Melisa awakens in the middle of the night when she feels her body feels a little cool, she palpates to where Arvin sleeps, but her bed is empty just there herself.

With half-sleepy eyes, Melisa also rose from her fall, she tightened her blanket and dizzy looking for Arvin's whereabouts. 

"Which.." called Melisa, but there was no answer. There was only silence enveloping tonight, the rain outside was extremely heavy, several times the lightning struck making Melisa's body shiver. Cold and also afraid of mixing into one. 

Room lights and main lights also died, making the atmosphere increasingly gripping because the state was pitch black. 

"Honey.." call Melisa again, but the situation is still the same, there is no answer at all, making Melisa scared. 

"Jeez, Arvin where are the nights like this." Melisa Mumbled. 

With all her strength, Melisa searched for the existence of the door and opened it, she noticed there was a bit of light in the kitchen area. Melisa stepped closer, there was a phone that was dropped there, but Arvin was still not visible.

"Darling.." 

"Yes, baby.." Reply Arvin who just came out of the bathroom.

"Thank God."

"You woke up, honey? Why?" Asked Arvin, he approached and confirmed the blanket that Melisa used to cover her innocent body.

"Cold, when I wake up you don't exist. Where aja? What's the night here, which?" Melisa's raven makes Arvin chuckle.

"I'm hungry, baby. Earlier, want to make instant noodles." 

"Certainly? Do I stay alone at night, in complete darkness? Wicked you!" 

"Aihhh, baby. I'm not going anywhere, just in the kitchen. I'm hungry, sorry."

"You're aahh, I'm right." Melisa turned her face and prepared to leave the kitchen. But, suddenly the lightning struck hard to make Melisa scream in fear.

"Yyyyyyy…" 

"Darling.." Arvin immediately grabbed Melisa into his arms, then rubbed Melisa's back. The woman's body shook making Arvin clench her tighter. 

"Darling, are you afraid of lightning?" Asked Arvin, Melisa nodded slowly. 

"Oh my goodness, baby. I'm sorry, I didn't know you were afraid of lightning." Arvin kisses Melisa's head lovingly. He did not expect that his woman was afraid of lightning, even to make her body vibrate like this so scared of her. But, he had left her alone earlier.

"I was so scared, you didn't even exist." 

"Shttt, no need to cry. Now I'm here, next to you." Said Arvin while continuing to kiss Melisa's head gently.

"Laper.." whined Melisa, earlier after they wrestled, the two went straight to sleep and forgot about dinner.

"Yes, we eat instant noodles huh."

"But that's not healthy?"

"Father, if you're beautiful." Arvin answered with a smile. Melisa nods her head, sitting in the chair opposite Arvin. Still wearing a blanket that had closed his body. 

"Don't help, let me cook." Arvin said, he also turned on the stove and cooked two packs of spicy Korean instant noodles.

As her Arvin is also not yet aware of her, so she just cooks and after ripe she presents her in front of Melisa. A bowl of instant noodles with broth that looks tempting, making Melisa's stomach increasingly rumbling. Not to mention, with a half-cooked boiled egg on top of her, making Melisa even hungrier.

"Wait what else, baby? Eat dong."

"You?"

"Yes, it's me eating too, baby. But before that, I'll take something first."

"Darling, you left me again?"

Before long, Arvin returned with a negligee owned by Melisa who had missed her at home. 

"Here, put it on. Before I pounce on you again, baby." Said Arvin while putting a negligee near Melisa.

"Huh?" Melisa asked, nor did she know that she was not wearing anything under the covers.

"That chest diverts my world, baby." Said Arvin while pointing at Melisa's slightly open chest. Melisa subdues her gaze, then immediately closes her.

"Well, that looks better. Let's eat, baby."

"By the way, is the cream I bought finished?"

Arvin kept his phone on the nightstand with the condition down, so the room was a little bright at the moment.

"Let's go to sleep, baby." Said Arvin while lying down, her hands hugging Melisa's waist tightly. 

"Don't leave me again, baby." 

"Yes, that's not going to happen."

"Really right?"

"Good God, yes, my dear." Arvin replied, Melisa also believed and chose to go back to sleep in Arvin's arms.

"Well, I cooked the rice on the stove." Answer Melisa.

"Hmm, be careful. Want to shop? Let me do this for you." 

"I want to cook tomyum deh, you buy seafood? I'll cook it here." Melisa.

"Yes, baby." Melisa answered, she searched her pants and after finding her she put on her and rushed home with her clothes overnight.
