The cloud began to close the sky this month. Today's first rain wiped out dust at a favorite SMA. Sports lessons are conducted in closed halls. Gymnastics this time is done in pairs. All the students had a partner except Neo. Even the shyest students in class are reluctant to pair with Neo. The days at school were painful for Neo. Until one morning when Neo left school, he did not get off at the bus stop usually. Neo is not used to ditching. It's never even late. But this morning he couldn't take it anymore. He had no reason to get off at the stop. Neo just kept quiet, followed the bus to where it was taking him. Until he had a reason to go down at the flea market. Because there he could find the old books kahlil Gibran. In a stall, two books are finished Neo read. Until the seller had to get rid of the rest of Kahlil Gibran's book. Don't want people to just read for free at the place of sale.

Finally Neo just down the crowded and dusty streets. He went down under the bridge while urinating. Then sitting on the riverbank relieve fatigue. Long he was silent, looking at the cloudy start coming. Until Miska's face crossed her head. Then Ponte's face. And Neo remembered, something was in his bag. He took that thing out. Ponte's phone is dead. Ever since the events in the narrow alley, it never came out of his bag. Now as powerful as possible Neo throw the phone into the middle of the river. It disappeared into the blackened water.

Neo was pensive on the edge of the water. See his shadow in the puddle. His sadness slowly turned angry. Until the points of falling water break the puddles that had been calm. The water from the sky is getting bigger. Neo shifted deeper under the bridge. Two buskers came to infiltrate the undercarriage avoiding the rain. They were curled up in a corner not far from Neo. Neo also noticed two children who were not wearing the footwear. Their hair and body are wet. They both counted the money they got. Then Neo saw himself still wearing shoes. His anger gradually subsided. Now he started thinking. Amidst the world's rain on the bridge, Neo remembers a leaflet. One morning he met a man in an unfamiliar suit. The leaflet reads: Jakarta International Paranormal Academy. You should have studied with great people, Neo remembered the words of that person. He started to hold his head up. Neo has to find that flyer. Then he went out under the bridge, running through the rain.

BodyNeo wet when arriving home. She went straight to her stepmother, asking if she had ever found a flyer while washing her uniform pants. Stepmother Neo shook her head. Answering as much as possible while feeding his son, like not caring. Neo was used to such treatment. For two months, her stepmother never made an omelet for lunch. Neo sometimes only eats rice and vegetables.

Neo rushed towards the well. Thinking about the possibility of the flyer tucked away somewhere. Because he was sure, all this time the paper was never in his room. But Neo just stood beside the well with his head bowed. His concentration directed his gaze through every corner of the space that was around. His vision revealed the contents of the dining room cabinet, under the dining table, dirty clothes in the bucket, then in used cardboard boxes.

From the living room, Neo is seen sculpting beside the well. Neo's stepmother long looked at her stepdaughter who was acting strangely. She felt like she was trying to be a good mother. But the oddity of the boy sometimes makes him not know what to do.

Neo's view has also been extended to the kitchen shelves. And on the corner kitchen shelf at the very corner she can

look at the stack of several sheets of paper. Quickly Neo into the kitchen took those papers. The sheets turned out to be written recipes for her stepmother's food. But on one sheet, behind it was the leaflet print that Neo was looking for.

Neo closed the door to his room. His eyes glinted at the paper he was holding.

He began to read the writing on the sheet.

Then Neo reads an address listed below. Neo knows the address. But suddenly Father Neo appeared and opened the door. Neo intended to hide the paper but did not have time. He just bent the middle so that it is not seen directly by his father.

“Where are you Neo from? Why come home late?” ask Father Neo who is still standing in the doorway.

“There is an extracurricular sir in school.” Neo was trying to lie.

Father Neo understood. Maybe because Neo's position looks like he's learning. Sitting in front of his little table with a note.

“Have eaten?” ask Neo again.

“Not yet,” replied Neo. He hoped his father would not be suspicious of the paper he was holding.

“Eat there.”

“Iya Sir, in a moment.”

Mr. Neo closed the door. Neo relief. He read the leaflet again. And this afternoon he didn't

feeling hungry.

In the evening Neo lay in bed with a plan in his head. The leaflet had been stored in his bag. Even with a rumbling stomach but tonight Neo fell asleep.

The next day Neo leaves school early. But he didn't take the bus he used to ride. Neo

majored in the direction of the address as stated in the leaflet.

Inside the Neo bus stood between the rows of hanging people. Neo sweats but he doesn't care. All he thought about was a school that could accept people like him.

Neo got off the bus at a place he knew. He knew he had to walk to get to the address at

that flyer. At the end of the street he saw the address on the street sign. Neo tried to sort the numbers of the buildings he passed by. But after a few back and forth, he did not find it. Neo ventured to ask the security guard of one of the buildings. The guard pointed to a

the building at the end of the road. Neo's headed there. He couldn't believe it was the place he was looking for. Because other than no number, the place was like it wasn't managed. Dry leaves spread on the sidewalk.

The rubbish was scattered in several places. Then what makes Neo riveted long is a high wall that stretches along the sidewalk. The wall fence looked new, but there were a lot of scribbles there. One by one Neo read the writings on the wall. Everything is rough and blasphemous.

The only one who doesn't

the back of the door bars are deliberately closed by zinc sheets until people do not

can look inside. Then some police

line across the front door. It seems people are forbidden to enter there.

Finally Neo sat on the sidewalk. Don't know how to. The threshold of despair was approaching him. Until a scavenger came to pick up a plastic bottle in the garbage. Then the scavenger sat not far from Neo. He's an old man

the skinny. He deliberately relieve fatigue while his eyes are still looking for garbage that can be taken. Then he glanced for a moment at Neo.

“Then the school was very good.” The scavenger makes a sound.

Neo turned his head, watching the old figure not far from him.

“Muridnya many. There are a lot of rich kids too. Honey, good school is being demonstrated,” said the scavenger innocently.

Neo is listening. Because this old man will probably explain what happened.

“But this school a lot of demon times yes. Many of the demonstrators died. There's five

six people were taken by ambulance. Don't know tuh, suddenly just die in the streets here.” The scavenger was enthusiastic about telling stories because Neo looked so serious listening.

“How to do sir?” Neo curious.

“Ya keep the police on coming. This school can no longer be closed. Don't know where it's at

now his students.”

The scavenger moved from his seat.

“There-there's aja. Now expensive school. There's a good school even closed.” The old scavenger muttered leaving Neo. His eyes returned to look for a place where there was trash.

Old Neo was smitten in front of a wall full of scribbles, thinking of the scavenger's story. Until curiosity caught up with him. Neo lowered his head, gathering concentration. Then his gaze began to pierce through the wall in front of him. Neo could see two-story buildings. The whole wall is covered with stones. The roof is of high conical. The windows were lined almost all over the wall. Some of the window glass broke, like a stone-throwed container. In the middle of the building is a garden. The wild grass grows high there. The seemingly newly planted trees looked to be drying up. In the middle of the park there is like a former pond. The walls are mossy and the rest of the water is brown. Suddenly Neo saw people. He moved quickly in front of one of the buildings. Neo stand. He concentrated more. Because the person he saw had slipped in the corner of the building. Neo's gaze pierced through all the walls there until he saw the man again. Neo also had to step his feet up to the front of the wall. Time and time again Neo lost track of that guy. And Neo could not move anymore because the end of the wall and the sidewalk was bounded by the river. But there was a narrow dirt road between the river and the side wall. Neo get in there. He kept moving forward to still be able to see the person inside there. Until the road ends in a big tree. Neo can't move anymore. To his right was a high wall, to his left a river and in front of him a large tree trunk. But at this distance he could see clearly that person. Behind the walls, the man is seen sitting at the table writing. He was wearing white clothes and pants. Wearing sandals. But Neo didn't see his face. It was just his hair that Neo saw was already bleached.

For a while Neo was still standing motionless. Because that guy seems to be still writing. But Neo briefly observed a large tree nearby. Some of the branches of the tree came out on top of the high wall. Then a twig came out of the tree behind the wall. For people who can climb, it is an easy path

to get behind the wall. Be careful Neo climbs the tree while not taking his eyes off to the person inside. Until Neo got behind the wall, the man was still there. Neo was silent for a moment. He realized that his actions were spontaneous. But he was already there. At least he can get the info from that person, he thought.

Neo passed through the hallways of stone-walled buildings. That person was getting closer, just layered a few walls. Until Neo got in front of the one-story building. There is only one door in the middle. The door opened slightly and Neo knew the man was inside. Neo stepped forward. When I opened the door, the room was empty. There was only one table and chair in the middle of the room. Neo doesn't know where that guy went. As his gaze pierced through the walls, Neo did not find it.

Sunlight only comes in from the wind. But Neo could see a sheet of paper on the table. Neo approached and picked it up. Two sheets of handwritten paper, a train ticket and some money. Then Neo started reading the writing in his hand.

I know you have more skills that not everyone has. Your ability can be honed so that one day can be useful to others. There is a school that can guide you so that you can use your abilities better. But this school is far away in a city for safety's sake

all parties.

Think carefully before making a decision. If you really want to do something with your abilities, you can go to this city. There are train tickets leaving tomorrow morning and money for public transport. All the transportation list to get to this school I have written on the sheet

be separated.

The decision is in your hands. If in doubt, leave this letter and the ticket at the table. You can take the money.

Neo read the other sheet. It says the public transport codes. Then there are ten 10,000 pieces of money. A few moments Neo was silent. He doesn't know this guy. But somehow Neo believes him.

***

The night was late as Neo lay in bed. A train ticket is in his hand. Long-term eyes

get on that ticket. A big decision has to be made. But he felt he was no longer welcome. A few hours ago his father was angry because of reports by his stepmother that he had taken one of the recipe notes in the kitchen. Even so, what makes him heavy to go is just his father. Tonight he wants to write a message for his father. He wanted his father not to worry about him. No need to look for him because he will come back one day. He promised to find his mother. Then he apologized for disappointing his father. Neo wakes up, looking for paper and a pen. At his little desk he began to write.

Four o'clock in the morning Neo had slipped out of the house. A large backpack was on his back. The train leaves at six. Five o'clock Neo is already at the station. The sun began to pierce at the end of the city as the iron wheels of the carriage began to move. Neo sat by the window, watching the morning on the streets he knew. It's like moving quickly back. Everything he will leave behind. Maybe somewhere she could be accepted to be herself.

Paddy fields and ditches began to be seen in the windows. Neo realizes his city is far behind. And he's getting sleepy. The last thing that came to his mind was his father who was reading his message on a piece of mail. Then she fell asleep with the window glass.
