Episodes 198. Thank You Elder Hong

Those Humanoids, all of them human-bodied and rat-headed like Jiang Feng. The pressure of the cultivation base they emitted was also the same, Star Pioneer one Soul Beast. They are the Tribal Guards.

Only the Tribe Guards were allowed to wear that green-colored armor. Gofan knew that armor was a special armor that the Rat tribe used to deal with the Slime herd.

There were dozens of Tribal Guards who appeared and Six of them surrounded Gofan, but each of them stood on his back. Gofan who was initially surprised, finally heaved a sigh of relief seeing the humanoids surrounding him like that.

His Mental voice mimicked the squeaks of the Slime herd, echoing deep within the crowd of swarms of rats and other humanoids that appeared approaching the Monument.

The six of them released a net right in the direction of the sound source. The net crackled with tiny lightning-like sparks. The crowd immediately dispersed, moving away from the source of the sound. Their hearing was sharp, their steps were nimble, so, when the net fell, it only hit the ground level. They all moved away from the source of the sound.

As the Tribe Guards saw Lightning Nets hit nothing but the ground, their faces were pale, “Where is he? How does the slime move so fast? He hasn't even imitated one of us.”.

The Guardians knew that when the Slime imitated another creature, they would become the same as that creature, so if the creature he imitated did not have camouflage ability, neither did he.

“Is there a Styx Tribe that has camouflage capability and super speed?.” The other five shook their heads, other than Slime no one could camouflage. That disappearing technique, only mastered by the Slime Tribe.

The six looked left and right, their ears twitching slowly tracking down other sounds that sounded different from those of the Rat Tribe.

“There!! Chase!.” Lightning Nets pulled and then taken away away towards the periphery of the region, “Quick! Don't let him escape!!.” The six of them ran around, moving around chasing the strange sounds they managed to track.

In front of the monument... Gofan thought hard, “What's wrong? Everything I did was in accordance with Jiang Feng's memories.”.

Soon the tribal elder did a hand seal and touched the Holy Monument, everything he did was exactly the same as Gofan had done before.

Seeing that, Gofan's eyes shone with an answer, “It turns out so.. This monument detects bloodline descent..” Only the Silver Winged Rat Tribe approved could open the Sacred Door.

“Tua Hong.. Is it possible that this ancient Artifact was forged by Slime?.” Ask another Guard, a female Styx. A strange look towards the Ancient Artifact behind the rat elder, Jiang Hong.

“Fake..” Jiang Hong laughed, “Even if that Slime could turn his bones and body into anything, he would not be able to imitate the ancient aura of this Artifact.. It's original!.. Hahaha.”.

“Aura ancient.. But.. Elder, isn't there now no aura whatsoever from the Artifact?.” Ask the female Styx once again.

The other two were shocked, they were more surprised to see Jiang Hong's reaction than the disappearance of the ancient Artifacts. The two retreated away, not out of want, but from being pushed away by the pressure of the Soul Beast Jiang Hong that appeared and unleashed all of its cultivation power.

“Coward!! KELUUUUAAAAARRRRRR.”

BLAAAZZZHH!! The ring-shaped air ripples of opaque golden light shook the Resource Space. It didn't explode, but strong winds blew because of it.

Those strong winds threw out some precious treasures, falling down one after another, all of them falling apart.

Jiang Hong was angry that he was the one currently in charge of guarding the Resource Room. If the most precious artifact was lost, it would be placed where his face was, let alone it being lost right in front of his nose, he was laughing.

Moreover, the events he was going through now reminded him of the events Jiang Feng had experienced in the past. He was afraid, in turn, he would be the one to laugh at Jiang Feng.

Jiang Hong was silent. Mind empty. I failed to guard the ancient Artifacts! What would Jiang Feng and the other Elders say?....
