THE NEW ERA IS BEGIN: Secret Organization (Indonesian)
Chapter 6 - Fighting for Justice

The noble mansion was located in the Northern part of the empire, surrounded by dense forest and if one walked a few kelometers to the north, he would see a vast expanse of ocean as far as his eyes could see. It was a secluded place owned by the Windburner Family, where a group of knights were assigned to guard the prisoners.

There are some horrifying rumors that tell of the massacre of villages by Northern bandits, and the Mansion prison is built to house it all.

It was basically nothing more than a prison in the name of Mansion. A place where humans are unworthy of living in pairs of chains to his neck while begging for one drop of water.

For the knights of the mansion, this job was the perfect job. Where they are paid high wages while fighting for the welfare of many societies. A holy work that everyone yearns for, no, even they regard themselves as saints themselves.

Knights eradicating evil and keeping peace, these are like the stories in the legends.

Or at least that's what the Landlord said.

"The trash, do they not know the meaning of penance?" muttered a knight while tightening his teeth because he was upset.

He was a knight named Lian. Lian woke up from her sleep on the desk when she heard the sound of an explosion from inside the Mansion.

The days were supposed to be going as usual, the mornings were working and then at night he had plenty of time to have fun. But the explosion that was heard from underground just minutes after his eyes were closed, meant only one thing.

"Captain!"

"I understand. Gather some people together, tell them it's time to clean up the trash"

Back from the chair then looking to the side, Lian's hand grabbed her sword then started walking outside the room. Lian's subordinate followed when the door was opened.

As Lian stopped in front of the door, several knights approached her.

"Captain"

Looking at his capable subordinates, Lian could only show a satisfied face.

(This is what it means to be a knight, to know when to act, to have a great zeal to stand up for the truth and to keep the peace that is needed for all the people of the world)

With the sound of the explosion attracting attention, then some of Lian's subordinates came over to her, it proved their prowess as a knight.

While Lian continued to pay attention to them, her bottom who had been with her all along, went away to fulfill Lian's request.

For a true knight like Lian, having a capable subordinate was a blessing. Despite their true intentions of becoming knights, the fact that they fought for justice was more than enough to be considered allies.

"Everyone, listen. Our opponents are nothing more than animals, no, they are inferior to animals. People like those who deprive the villagers of the rights of innocence, those who do not understand the pain of loss, arrogantly say that they are innocent. Means death to such a man"

Lian's subordinates, who numbered a dozen people, admired in agreement. The spirit of justice appeared in their eyes.

The doctrine of the Knights to uphold justice is a strong foundation for creating fearless impulses. This made it easier for a knight captain like Lian to ignite the fire of the sacred spirit of her subordinates.

Lian turned her head towards a man with a chain around his neck. The man bowed lethargic, his lips chapped and his thin body like it had no flesh at all, filled with bruises all over his body.

The blank eyes seemed to want to cry, even if the man cried tears would not drip. A terrible state in which a person has no bodily fluids other than the blood that flows, the man looks like a wet cloth squeezed to dry making the curves of tangled skin clearly visible from eyelids to feet.

The pathetic man moved his hand like a branch that wanted to break. Greeting Lian is hateful.

Makes Lian wonder.

(Most trash should look like him, but why? The anti-magic is broken?)

There was no way out of prison other than using magic, for that reason why the secret Anti-magic weapon was placed right in the middle of the prison. Even more, most prisoners were starved to avoid a possible rebellion. But the fact somehow they were able to break through gave Lian a feeling of anger.

After tightly grasping the sword while kicking it. Lian started to step away, the knights followed Lian.

They walked down the hallway with moonlight through the window, the flashes of light shining so beautifully as they began to run through each window.

Until when they stopped to prepare for the last door before the dungeon.

Lian opened the door, she saw a huge gaping hole from the floor, chunks of stone strewn in all directions. The scene was quite dark with only a glimmer of moonlight from the glass window shining down on the darkness.

A group of men stood in front of Lian.

Most of them stood up trembling. The hands without flesh seem to have difficulty when holding stones as weapons. The only thing that made them stand up was a deep sense of hatred.

Something like saying "What we have done, until we have to get this bad torture" is clearly visible in their expressions.

A white-haired young man covered part of his eyes standing in the middle of them. The young man held the prison's iron hunk with a sharp tip.

"So you're the jerk who blew up the prison"

The man did not answer.

The one that caught Lian's attention about the man, was a lip-like gesture of saying something.

As his lips stopped poking, the young man began to bow then a red magic circle came out from under his feet.

Sped like a bullet, in just one blink of an eye the distance was covered. Lian's subordinate Armorless on his right looked puzzled as a chunk of metal stuck on his shoulder, the metal that did not have the ability to slash through flesh just stuck out without being able to escape except in pull.

then the white-haired man moved the metal down causing Lian's subordinates who were stuck to fall down following the direction of the metal's motion. The hand of the white-haired man took Lian's subordinate sword as blood dripped from the metal hole.

Lian's subordinate lay on the ground while spewing blood from his mouth.

The time was short, it happened for only a few seconds.

Another knight reacted by trying to point the sword towards the man, but before the sword came out of its sheath. The knight looked down where the man was and thrust the sword just to the left in his belly vertically.

The white-haired man twisted the sword horizontally making a sort of red-colored hole. After that the sword was pointed to the side like a slashing motion.

Slicing through the meat, leaving only a small section on the left side of the stomach.

Losing balance then falling, the bowels of the knights spread on the floor. His body was almost split in two.

Lian looked at that with an angry face. Justice colleagues who are also subordinates are killed teragis.

In a soft voice while tightening his teeth, Lian said.

"I'm gonna kill you"

Within a short period of time the distance between Lian and the white-haired man was covered, his sword slashing towards Lian, the tremendous slashing speed could rain down on Lian.

Lian resisted all attacks, making the loud sound of swords colliding, sparks of light illuminating a small part of the room.

SATKKK!!

The slash attack with killing intent was heavier than the man's barrage, aimed at Lian's sword. But due to the different qualities of the sword, the knight sword in the hand of the white haired man broke in two. But—

Time seems to slow down, even though it is actually only a few seconds running. Lian's pupils opened wide when she realized the man's true purpose.

The lip movement has stopped.

The hand of the white-haired man reached Lian's chest, then with a small voice the man said.

"[Enchant Fire Magic]"
