THE MYSTERY OF THE FOREST

Out of the forest, Farhan had already seen Hardian pointing his gun at the man in front of him. The man raised his hand with his back to Hardian.

"Kneel and hands up!" shouted Hardian. Farhan ran towards Hardian. Seeing Farhan beside him, Hardian threw the handcuffs at Farhan and Farhan immediately caught him. Hardian then advanced and was in front of the man. Hardian closed his nose. A stench was smelled from the man's body. Hardian gestured for Farhan to immediately carry out his duties. Farhanpun immediately approached and handcuffed the man's hand.

Hardian and Farhan stared at each other in satisfaction. Finally, after one day and one night of reconnaissance, they managed to capture the man. The two then sat down while keeping an eye on the man who was now just down to hide his face.

Hardian opened the cigarette pack in his pocket, picked it up and lit it. He gave it to Farhan.

"By the way what you got there, by the way" said Hardian.

Farhan patted his forehead. Not yet able to answer Hardian's question, he had already run into the forest. Hardian frowned waiting for Farhan to return.

Hardian put a cigarette in the man's mouth and lit it. With handcuffed hands, the man looked cool enjoying the cigarette smoke that began to billow in his mouth.

Farhan appears behind the trees. Behind him, a woman with unstable steps followed. His shoulder hair was tangled and messy, mostly unraveling forward covering half of his face.

The woman's eyes widened sharply as soon as she saw the mysterious man in front of her. Without Farhan realizing it, the woman ran and aimed her kick at the man's back. The man fell on the ground. Seeing that, Farhan immediately grabbed his body and held it tightly.

"Take me off, I'll kill this bastard. He raped and tortured me cruelly. Let me kill him, let me go, "The woman thrashed away wanting to break away, but Farhan was getting tighter and tighter in his body. The woman can only cry now. His body grew weaker and eventually fell on the ground.

"Your son of a bitch Fadli, you have ruined my life" the woman whispered in a raucous voice.

Farhan scrunched his forehead. His gaze was now pounded towards the male body that was still lying on the ground. He approached the woman and sat down near her.

"Do you know that man?" ask Farhan. The woman nodded.

"He's a village with me, his name is Fadli. I never had a problem with her, but she treated me as if I were her enemy" the woman said furiously.

"You are not my enemy, Mayni, but you are an enemy of religion. You are the moral destroyer of the youth here because of the awrah that you made a spectacle," replied the man, still lying down. Hardian had not been interested in lifting it. He seemed to be smoking his cigarette while listening to the conversation.

"That's my law and that's my right. I feel like I've never harmed you" said the woman who turned out to be Mayni, the village girl who was declared missing.

"But that's what I hate. I hate the change in this forest. I hate its evil inhabitants. I hate women who boast like you,"

"Sat! But why are you enjoying my body" Mayni said.

"The bad guy for the bad guy. You deserve to be hidden and be satisfied with a bad man like me," said Fadli no less fierce.

"Your dog is Fadli, dog!" curse Mayni while spitting on Fadli's body. Farhan tried to calm him down. Hearing Fadli's name being mentioned, Farhan scrunched his forehead. The name reminds her of someone. He approached Mayni and sat down nearby.

"Yes, he's an orphan whose life is rough" Mayni said scathingly.

Farhan got up and stepped slowly towards Fadli who was still face down on the ground. He grabbed Fadli's body and lifted him up. Seeing Farhan leave Mayni, Hardian immediately replaced his position to guard Mayni.

"Do you still know me" Farhan said as he looked at Fadli's embarrassed face. He stared intently at Farhan's face from behind his hair that partially covered his face. He shook.

Farhan smiled and looked at Fadli's face. A face he could no longer recognize if no one had told him. The face that was full of monstrous black spots and gave off a foul smell.

"I'm Farhan, Mr. Marwi's son,"

Fadli. He seemed to not believe the words that the man in front of him had just spoken. He shook.

"No, Farhan was burned to death with his house" Fadli said. Farhan smiled. He was closer to Fadli.

"I was saved by Uncle Ahmad and taken to the village. I'm your childhood friend, Farhan,"

Fadli's tears were seen flowing between the black spots on his face. Seeing Fadli crying, Farhan also shed tears.

"I thought you were dead" Fadli wiped his tears. She was still so happy and trying to stop her crying.

"After my father's death, I no longer had anyone who truly loved me sincerely. When I found out you were also burning at home, I felt lonely and isolated myself from the crowd."

Farhan approached Fadli and hugged him. Fadli's crying is getting worse.

"Why are you hugging that dog, you fool. The dog was not worthy of love" Mayni yelled as she saw Farhan and Fadli embrace.

"Why are you doing this Fadli" Farhan whispered in his ear. Farhan had paid no heed to the stinging smell coming from Fadli's body.

"The story is long Farhan," replied Fadli lirih. Farhan let go of his embrace. Farhan approached Hardian who was still silent watching them.

"Let me open the handcuffs sir, I guarantee you he won't run away" Farhan said. He could not bear to see Fadli's handcuffed hands. For a moment Hardian was silent as he looked at Farhan's face. Farhan's gaze was like a pincher.

Hardian got up and approached Farhan. He took the handcuff key out of his pocket and gave it to Farhan. Farhan smiled and instantly unlocked the handcuffs in Fadli's hands.

"We're going to transport what this is, sir" Farhan said as he returned the keys and handcuffs to Hardian.

"I've permission to use the heli, but hopefully there are no obstacles" said Hardian while medongak to the top. "O yes Han, we should immediately make a runway around here. Let's ask him, maybe he has something to level the place as a foundation" Hardian continued. Farhan immediately remembered, he had seen a hoe in the hut when he first examined it. He immediately stepped into the hut and came back again carrying a hoe.
