THE MYSTERY OF THE FOREST

THE MYSTERY OF THE FOREST
#23

After struggling to fit his body between the roots of the trees in front of the small hole in front of him, Farhan was finally able to enter, and now, arriving in the room, he could only stand staring at the darkness. The room where it now stands is a one-meter-wide hallway. If an adult is standing in the tunnel, he must half bend his body so that his head does not stumble against the ceiling of the tunnel. He did not know how long the hall was. The air inside the tunnel felt stuffy and humid. Added to that by the smell of bat droppings, which makes him occasionally cover his nose.

Farhan turned on his flashlight, remaining with his caution. He sure has someone in there. He was sure that the voice that was heard last night came from inside the tunnel. He tried not to cause anything that attracted attention. He continued to walk slowly, until when he reached the end of the tunnel, he was so shocked. The next leg was like stepping on a vacuum. He fell and slid down. Farhan's body rolled on the floor. For a moment he just fell silent feeling the pain of hard objects that hit his body when he rolled. Farhan stared at it while continuing to grimace. Apparently at the end of the tunnel was a hole that was only covered with twigs and dry tassel leaves. He did not see it because it was too dark and focused on finding a way in.

Farhan tried to get up. The flashlight he still held tightly ignited back. Farhan was silent watching his surroundings full of caution. He was in a room under the tunnel. The room was round, with an area of about 3 x 4 meters. The floor is full of dry weeds scattered about. The smell of pee and poop filled his nose. It really stinks and makes him want to vomit.

Farhan began to direct his flashlight beam to every corner of the room. The machete that had slipped from his hand when it fell earlier, appeared lying not far from where it fell. He slowly picked it up, and held it tightly with his right hand. He continued to walk around checking his surroundings, until in a slightly indented corner, he was aghast in shock. A woman with disheveled hair covered her face looking at him sharply. Both of his hands were tied to a large rock beside him. He's almost naked. It only wears a mustache that only covers the part of ***********. While the top is not covered with a piece of clothing at all. For a moment Farhan could only be silent where he stood. There is no movement. He focused towards the female figure in front of him.

Farhan approached slowly towards the woman. The woman lowered her face when the flashlight hit her face. He looks to be moving his head.

"Please, let me go, I want to go home. Help me," the woman groaned as she looked at Farhan from the sidelines with dangling hair covering her face. Farhan is closer. After a long sigh, the machete in his hand then swung it towards the rope that bound the woman until it was cut off.

The woman looked at her two hands that were no longer tied. He smiled and began to pay close attention to the person in front of him. The woman smiled when she realized the person in front of her was not the mysterious man.

"You're not that monster? You came to save me?"

The woman crawled in excitement near Farhan. He began to rest at Farhan's feet and began to kiss him. Her crying began to sound.

"Hurry to get dressed, we have to get out of this place quickly" Farhan said, trying to keep his feet off her face.

The woman looked up. With a staggered body, the woman got up and immediately fixed her clothes. A pungent smell gushed from his body, making Farhan snort impervious.

"Where the monster is, I'm afraid he's coming back and hurting me again" said the woman, holding Farhan's body. His eyes were going to and fro following the frightened movements of his body. His hand shook violently as he held Farhan's hand. Farhan looked at.

"If you want to be safe, get up, and get out of this place. And one more thing, we're not safe. We don't know where the man is right now" Farhan said, pointing his flashlight at the hole above. The hand of the woman who was still tightly holding her hand was released slowly. The woman nodded and started following Farhan from behind towards the entrance hole. After feeling that the situation up there was safe, Farhan turned to the woman and told her to go up. The woman immediately rushed. His hands began to creep to the edge of the hole by holding on to the tips of the tree roots that penetrated into the tunnel. From below, Farhan tries to help push the woman's body up by holding her breath. The woman's body actually gave off an unpleasant smell. With great difficulty, the woman finally reached the top.

Farhan turned off his flashlight and stuffed it into the back pocket of his pants. He quickly hung on the roots of the tree and swiftly lifted his body up.

Not too long later, after passing through the one meter long tunnel, the two of them were finally already outside the tunnel.

Farhan pulled the woman's hand and invited her to hide behind the banyan roots that covered the outside of the tunnel. He looked over for a moment to make sure the situation around him was safe. Farhan turned his head and looked at the woman who was still frightened.

"Now shut up here. The person you thought was the monster was still wandering around out there. For a while you have to stay here. Remember, stay still in place.Do not go anywhere," Farhan warned. The woman nodded and immediately hid her body behind the tree roots.

After making sure the woman would follow his orders, Farhan immediately stepped foot after Hardian towards the field.

After carefully settling through the bushes, Farhan finally found Hardian hiding behind a tree. Farhan came closer.

"What did you find there?" hardian asked after Farhan was nearby.

"A woman. Apparently she was the woman who was reportedly kidnapped" Farhan replied.

"Lantas, where is he" Hardian asked, looking back.

"I hid it for a while in a safe place" Farhan said as he cleaned his dirty pants from the mud. He then shifted his body and brushed the bushes in front of him.

"Where is the man," said Farhan half-whispering without turning to Hardian.

"Last I saw him, he went into the hut. You stay here first. We don't know there might be another way around here. He's been in that hut for too long. I'm afraid he's using another way to get back into this forest." Hardian. After that he settles through the trunks of trees towards the exit to the field.

* * * * *

Farhan waited anxiously from where he was hiding. He felt he had waited too long in that place. There was no sign of the mysterious man returning to the tunnel. After thinking for a moment, he decided to get out of the forest.
