Ep. 17. THE LING FAMILY'S

A city surrounded by monster forests. The city of Zuho was one of the largest cities in the Ming empire, various resources were available in the place.
Many people come and go or make the city as a stopover to just feel how beautiful the city of Zuho.
Even the four great powers of the Empire were in the city, namely the Jade sect. The Naran Clan, the Zu Hong family and the Alchemist Dao Raou family.

Then the noble family of Raou dao, they were famous for being the greatest chemists, or commonly called alchemists, besides that the Patriarch of the Dao Raou family was a Spirit Emperor named Li Yoshan.
Then the last one is the Zu Hong royal family, this family is in charge of maintaining the stability and security of the city, they hold the highest power in the city of Zuho.

In the big market of the city of Zuho, a middle-aged man in shabby, shabby clothes was being insulted by a merchant for stealing fruits.
"Based on an old beggar, get out of my sight or I'll beat you up."The merchant said in a high voice.
The middle-aged man crawled up and picked up the fruits strewn on the ground and ate them like crazy, the middle-aged man's face looked familiar, even though his face was filled with black dirt, but the grace of leadership was still clearly visible on his face.
Not far from the place, Hao Dong and Li Yoshan looked at the middle-aged man with a face of pity.

Zao Ling nodded then said."Thank you Teacher."
After a while, the heavenly snake demon queen and a few servants walked into Zao Ling's room.
The snake demon queen beckoned the servants to come out, the servants nodded and walked out of the room.
The snake demon queen looked at Zao Ling then said."My name is Jia Li, you can call me Jia."
"Sad."Zao Ling threw away his face.
"I'm just here to tell you that I want you to be my husband not because I like you, but because of your talent. Our marriage is just a formality, the whole point of it all is because we are only mutually beneficial."Jia Li explained.
Zao Ling who heard that clenched her hands, her face looked extremely angry. Although he did not love Jia Li, but as an honorable man, Zao Ling had never any intention of toying with a marriage bond.
After Zao Ling said that she agreed to Jia Li's terms, from that day on, Zao Ling sacrificed her future thinking of living forever with Jia Li and treating her like a wife.
