The Married With Stranger

The Married With Stranger
Rejection That Is So Many Times

Water drops fell from Agnese's hair that had just finished shampooing, making the floor of the room slightly wet. However, he immediately coats his hair with a towel while walking to the bed. She wears Rachel's nightgown that looks oversized on her body because it's for a pregnant woman.

Agnese looked at her feet wrapped in bandages and slightly wet from splashing water while she was bathing despite trying to get away from the reach of water. He then looked at the dresser with a hairdryer.

With a flickering step, Agnese approached the dresser. He continued the activity of drying hair, but this time using a hairdryer. The girl's mind wanders back in on the moment a middle-aged woman comes along and humbles herself who 'she' doesn't deserve to be with a foreign man - she means the owner of the school foundation.

Agnese's memory also did not escape from the man who wanted to talk to her after a bath. I don't know why he suddenly thought of all the problems he shouldn't have thought of.

"What would he say?"

muttered.

As she was about to dive further into the world of imagination, Agnese immediately regained her senses as her phone rang. The name of a person who is in one of the countries in the Asian Continent, precisely Indonesia. With an expanding smile, he shifted the arrow to the right to answer the phone before attaching it to the ear.

"Dennis!"

"Hey, Agnese! How's it going?"

"I'm pretty good, Dennis. How're you? Have you caught the criminal?" ask Agnese enthusiastically.

"Yes, I'm fine and will be back soon." Dennis shook his head to answer Agnese's second question even though the girl couldn't see it while putting one of her hands into her pants pocket and gazing at the scenery of the HI Roundabout with the vehicle that seemed to fill the road though still morning. "Are you and Mr. Zach okay as long as I'm gone? I mean, I'm worried that my departure is hurting you."

"Actually, yesterday when we were in—"

"Hey, Little Girl!" cut someone off from the front door of the room while knocking on them several times.

Agnese let out a long breath. "Let's talk again, huh, Dennis? I have to do something."

"alright. Have a nice day, Agnese."

"Thanks, you too."

The call was cut off. Agnese moved her hand to grab a remote over the nightstand near the bed so that the door of the room she was occupying was currently open without needing to be touched. As soon as the object that served as a place to enter and exit opened and displayed the figure of Zach, the look on the girl's face turned curious.

"Can we talk for a minute?"

Agnese nodded. "What's wrong?"

Zach did not answer. He walked closer to Agnese followed by the girl's gaze, then sat down on a sofa near the bed and looked at Agnese seriously. Actually, he was confused where to start because it did not rule out the possibility that what he wanted to talk about today would not go his way.

However, if not discussed, Zach does not want to lose the opportunity let alone the father and sister know that the girl who is looking at him now is a lover who will be married. He then let out a long sigh and cleared his throat for a moment to remove the awkwardness that was plaguing him.

Zach thud. "You know my family thinks of you as my future wife, don't you?" answer Zach, but with a question.

"Yes, then?"

Zach fixed his sitting position, then scratched the nose of his nose for a moment because of the sudden itching.

With furrowed brows, Agnese asked, "What help? That wasn't finished yesterday, now you're asking for another favor."

"I know, but this time you helped me. You want to marry me, don't you?" ask Zach expectantly.

Unlike Zach, Agnese shook her head in disbelief. Be married? How could the man ask her to help with a marriage in which the act would violate Camila's request, Zach's mother?

Although Agnese had also lied and disobeyed her parents' orders, but after one of them had died, she never again did so because her goal was now only one; making Briza happy, moreover, there is nothing left in the family except her and her mother.

Agnese seemed to shake her head before answering. "Sorry, I think you better listen to your mother. He's right, you don't deserve to be with ordinary people."

"My mom talks, don't listen to me."

"I think I've gone too far to interfere with your problems. Dennis will be back soon, too. After all I can't marry someone I don't love because I only want a marriage once in a lifetime."

"We don't need a divorce if you want. No one knows tomorrow. It's possible that we suddenly love each other after marriage," Zach said by suppressing the word 'love' because he himself was less sure of his words. However, in order to get Agnese to agree to her request, the man would do anything.

"Sometimes parents' choices never miss. Anyway why don't you just accept your match with your mother's chosen woman?"

Zach speechless. He seems to think. If asked why, he was confused by what answer to give because there was no specific reason to refuse the matchmaking that Camila always arranged for him. However, there was something in Zach that made him reject those whom he had betrothed - from long ago.

Zach is like waiting for someone who can accept himself sincerely. A person who does not see who Zach is, but how he treats others. What he saw from all the women he had met on the recommendation of the mother was nothing more than a mad woman of treasure and honor.

As he was engrossed in thinking of an answer, a voice from the front made Zach jump in shock. "Why are you quiet?"

Zach looked at Agnese while moving his head left and right alternately several times. "There really is no excuse. I just don't like them."

"Then ... Do you like me?" ask Agnese who made Zach flutter.

Zach immediately denied Agnese's question. "It's not so!"

"Then why did you ask me to marry you?"

"I just don't have any other choice." Zach exhaled a rough breath. "Can't you help me one last time?" continued.

"Maybe for you it's the last thing, but to me all this is the beginning of suffering. I still go to school and have to work at night. There's my mother I need to take care of."

Hearing Agnese's reply, Zach immediately stood up and drew closer to the girl. When he was right in front of Agnese who was sitting on the bed, he crouched down and looked at Agnese's eyes deeply.

"Really, I will fulfill all your wishes. Even I will take your mother to the best expert until she recovers, not just bear the cost of the medicine for a month. You want to, right?"

Agnese smiled wryly and shook her head slowly. "Sorry, but my answer is still the same, I can't."
