The Marriage of Earth and Moon

Contrition

Bara passed through the hospital hallway with the sound of shoes so loud, the stomping of his feet could be heard bouncing in anyone's ear. He hung a black jacket on the back with one hand, indeed his clothing style was very different from Earth. If the Earth looks neat with a cameja and suit while he looks relaxed using clothes like a rock n roll capital city. When parked, he wears a black leather jacket and wears his helmet and drives his motorcycle out of the hospital area. Riding against the wind, challenging the bustling streets sounds frenzied from other vehicles racing each other after time to meet his family.

Bara arrives at his apartment throwing his jacket and shoes away. Repeatedly beating him against the wall, no one cared because it was for him alone. He pulled a cigarette out of his pack and burned it until he sat on the couch playing smoke coming out of his mouth.

Mayasari, you have not changed still the same as before, beautiful, spoiled, worried, your brown eyes that often look at me first still shine beautifully, your fingers are so flat grasping my hands, your smile that is able to make my chest shake even now I have not been able to forget anything about you from my memory. I am a little happy you can be with Earth, live happily, be the wife of a rich man, Earth loves you very much, even though my heart seems to be slashed by the forced separation. If only you had been betrothed to me back then, there would have been no parting words between us. I realize you owe a lot to Mama Lina's family and everything must be reciprocated at my expense. I'm not avoiding you pa, ma, but I feel like you're avoiding me, you don't want to know what I'm like right now, ma, you are busy with your own happiness and forget about me who was born of your sins. I was proud to have Mama Lina, she wanted to accept me well, consider me the same as her biological child, even until now she was willing to share some of her wealth for me. His daydream stopped when he heard his phone ringing.

"Yes ma." Answer from the phone. Bara closed his eyes for a moment, his cellphone falling out of his grasp.

On the motorbike, tears were seen flowing because the wind or his heart was injured.

I'm not cheating you, I'm just disappointed in your attitude.

Until the hospital, Bara ran to his papa room and it turned out that the room was empty. Bara runs in search of the morgue, she finds Lina's mother, and the Moon family are there. Mama Lina cried in her arms, not only her lips were pale but almost her entire body looked pale. Bara saw his Papa lying stiff wrapped in a shroud, he was down in tears before the corpse of his father.

"I'm sorry, how much I hate you but I can't do it. Pa, I'm sorry to have spent every moment with you, I know you love me too just that I pretended not to know. Pa, I beg you to breathe now, I promise to be a submissive child, I want to help you take care of your company, pa, I promise I won't go anywhere anymore but I beg you to breathe for me. Oh....!" Bara shouted, his regret deepened because he had missed being with his father. Perhaps her father had taken the wrong path for having been harsh on her but he could not lie to her feelings if she loved him so much.

All the decisions her father made to teach her to be a responsible child. Bara always thought whatever his father said was wrong in his eyes, he always quarreled if his father told him to stay home and help him take care of the company. Bara begins to argue when her relationship and the Moon are separated by Papa Handoko. Papa Handoko told him to decide the Moon because the Earth has been betrothed to the Moon. From that moment Bara lived as he pleased and never cared about the surrounding environment. Bara didn't tell Earth if he decided on the Moon because of the coercion of his papa.
