The Marriage of Earth and Moon

Travelling Moon

At night the Moon had put her clothes in the suitcase but some of her clothes were deliberately left in her wardrobe. The moon was sitting on the floor leaning against her closet looking at the rest of her room. Her tears were caught in the corner of her eyes because of the weight of leaving her favorite room.

"You may occasionally go home if you wish, we will not go out of the Moon country, we just move my house which is not too far from your parents' house. Why are you so dramatic as a woman? If you are not ready for marriage, do not marry! If I were you I would have run away on my wedding day..!"

"Why are you the only one who didn't run away on our wedding day on Earth? You have ruined my future! Since you married me I'm leaving this house!"

"If I ran away my mama would have killed herself, so I had to marry you. And I also feel sorry for your parents because no one wants to marry your daughter when she's 25."

"Basic jerk! tonight you sleep on that couch! I'll sleep in bed."

The moon pulled Earth's hand down from the bed until she fell off the floor. The moon dropped her body on her bed.

"You become a woman, there is no softness to a man. You don't deserve to do it."

"Let's sleep together." The Earth stood up and dropped its body beside the Moon.

"Earth, what are you doing? Don't come any closer!" The Moon shouts because the Earth is attaching its body to the Moon.

"What am I doing? Your question is too ridiculous. Remember, you're my wife, so whatever I do to you!" The Earth put her hand on the Moon.

"Earth!" The moon let go of Earth's hand and she moved to the sofa away from the laughing Earth.

"Are you scared?" Earth is still laughing she doesn't realize she's at the Moon house.

"I swear he's not just a bitch but he's crazy." Said the Moon and tonight he went back to sleep in a sofa while the Earth freely controlled his bed.

In the morning the sun seemed to be shy to show its light. The sound of rain falling on the roof of the Moon house. The atmosphere out there is so cloudy just like the feeling of the Moon today being sad.

"Moon, stop crying, mama will come see you occasionally. You have to learn to get used to it without mom and dad because you're also going to be a mother to your kids." Said her mother hugging the moon who was sobbing because of her crying.

"Hey hey. Mama is very fond of the Moon, do not be a drama anymore you say you are not your biological child. It's gone, your husband's been waiting for you."

"Why not hold the Moon to go?" Moon again sought support from her father.

"Dear no, papa wants you to be happy with Earth. Be a good wife to the Earth. Do not fight often and do not often go home if there is a problem, but you have to solve both problems. Anyway papa doesn't want any report from Earth because of your right-handed behavior."

"Father, don't you love the Moon."

"Papa will always love you whenever, papa will miss you too" said Papa Bagas.

"Tasya dear to you, brother Moon. Tasya will miss her sister later." Tasya also hugged the Moon.

"I'm sorry, mom and dad didn't drive you, son."

"Yes ma." The moon left his house. Once again he turned to look at his house and his parents who were standing on the fence saw the departure of the Moon.

"Ma, pa.. why don't you hold me back, I want you to say, Moon you don't have to go, just stay here." muttered Moon in his heart.

The moon got into the car and waved to her parents.

"Ma, papa feels like crying. Papa really can't have the Moon go away. But what power, he has become the property of people now."

"Sama pa, my mother also tried hard in front of him even though she felt lonely if she was not in this house."

"Tasya ma too, there's nothing else that Tasya bothers in this house."

The three of them shed tears still seeing the departure of the Moon which had already disappeared from their eyes.
