08. Papa's Desire

Shandra took only three years to complete her studies. Shandra, who just finished her studies a few days ago, has been given the task by her father to directly hold her papa company in Germany.

"OK! Next week you can leave. The sooner the better because the grandpa will be greatly helped by your presence there." Said Papa.

"Ok darling. Be careful on the road." Papa said

Shandra immediately snatched her jacket and car keys then immediately set off. He intended to go to the headquarters in the city of X, but he chose to go around the city and look at the scenery.

Hope you're okay when I'm gone. I don't want anything to happen to Papa. I'll take care of the company there as soon as I can, and if I find anyone I can trust to take care of it, I'll be home soon. I don't want people who've been after papa doing anything bad to papa. I'm gonna have my men tighten up their surveillance on papa.

After about an hour driving around, Shandra immediately drove her car to town X. Along the way he sang along when he heard a song played by a radio announcer.

Shortly after, Shandra arrived at the headquarters and immediately went inside. Sakti and the others rushed to greet him because of his sudden arrival and they thought that there should not be anything precarious.

"Welcome boss." Sapa Sakti while bowing in salute followed by the others.

"Hmmm!" Shandra's reply passed followed by Sakti and the others.

After arriving at the room where they usually held meetings, Shandra began to open up the conversation.

"Is everything at headquarters today?" Ask Shandra.

"Everybody has a boss." Answer Sakti.

"Then call everyone together. There's something important I'm going to talk about." Shandra.

After a few minutes, it seems that everything came in a hurry and after they bowed and saluted Shandra then immediately sat in their respective positions according to their levels.

"Good! Since everything has gathered, then I need to convey that, from today on, I declare that I cease to be the chairman of the White Lion, and also directly I appoint the Sakti brothers to take my place." Shandra.

"I also need to convey that this change of chairman is related to personal affairs that cannot be represented, so I choose to stop being the chairman. However, I'll keep control from afar, and if there's anything really urgent, don't forget to call me immediately." Shandra.

Everyone in the room was shocked including Sakti. But they did not talk or ask. Because in the rules they make, they are not allowed to talk unless asked or given the opportunity to speak.

"Will anyone ask?" Shandra.

All gave the code to Sakti to ask

"Actually what's the boss. Why did the boss suddenly stop. Frankly I feel unworthy to lead White Lion." Sakti Kata.

"Next week I'm going to Germany to take care of the company there. That's why I have to make decisions like this. I hope no one objectes." Shandra.

Shandra then stood up and took the crown of the White Lion symbol and dressed it to Sakti. All those inside the room immediately kowtowed their respects to Sakti while taking an oath to be faithful.

Since they were all still in a prostrate position, Sakti immediately gestured with his hand as the chairman in order for them to return to their original position.

"From today on, everything Sakti says is a command to be obeyed." Shandra said affirming while looking at all his men.

"And to you (he said as he pointed at Sakti), remember how we work. Never forgive anyone who is guilty and try to play around with White Lion." Shandra said firmly.

"Good boss! I'll do everything like the boss says." Answer Sakti steady.

"And one more! Please add the men to watch my papa closely from today on. But try not to let your surveillance know, papa, because you also know, if you don't like bodyguards." Shandra.

"I'll send it after lunch." Sakti Kata.

They then ate together, and all the men congratulated Sakti as the new chairman.

Finished eating, Shandra looked at them one by one as if looking at their earnestness. He immediately approached Sakti and said:

"When I see my brother again. From now on don't call me boss again." Shandra said with a smile. Sakti just bowed while paying her respects.

Shandra then went out leaving them and returned home.
