Chapter 63. Moira.

“What do you mean?” graciella asked in a trembling voice. Suddenly his whole body felt cold as if splashed with ice water. His heart is not broken. There was a sudden sense of tightness appearing and also a sense of heaviness in his head. Could his son still be alive?

Three years ago, after an incident that ruined Graciella's life forever. She found herself pregnant afterwards. Of course she tried her best to cover up her pregnancy from Adrean. Greciella had to endure her own pain and after struggling on her own for nearly 12 hours, covered her voice during contractions, trying to keep Adrean from knowing her condition. Graciella eventually gave birth in the bath up of her own room with a fair amount of bleeding.

The little cry of her baby daughter broke her tears. Graciella recalled how her face she had been holding for the first and last time. The cry of her baby made her so haru, she was a mother now but it was also that made her struggle for nine months finally go to waste. Adrean finally found out about his little baby.

Graciella tries to get up to prevent Adrean from carrying the baby. However, the baby is innocent even though he was born by mistake. Graciella ignored how her body aches and pains. The blood that poured out like water just flowed down his body as he tried to walk but immediately collapsed because he had no power to support his body. He had to pull his body in order to get close to Adrean. Begged so that Adrean would not take his son.

Adrean was just indifferent. She even looked at her baby as if it was as disgusting as Greciella.

"I'll never let you be with your baby!"

Those words came out of Adrean's lips. Words that we cannot forget. That was the last time he saw, heard, and touched his little daughter. Adrean takes her and leaves Greciella unconscious from the bleeding.

Graciella woke up two days later in a hospital. Adrean came to the next day. When Greciella asked where her son was. Adrean only replied that he would never see his son again because he had already thrown the child away. A disgrace should not be maintained.

Greciella's heart was broken at that moment. Destroyed until he could feel nothing. She had only been a mother for a moment, but her baby had been taken away from her. Graciella's almost crazy. He wished he was crazy back then so he could forget all his suffering. It was even the first time she had injured herself and was hoping to catch up with her little daughter. But he hasn't even allowed God to return. Maybe there are many sins that his predecessor made before until his life must be like this.

Adrean always said that he just threw his son away and most likely no longer exist in this world. Graciella has been trying to find her in every orphanage and hospital, but she has not found her baby. But why is Adrean now saying that he knows where his son is?

"Don't joke! I won't believe it so easily! You just wanted to set me up to come to you, didn't you?" Graciella said in a serious voice, she immediately stood up. Laura who heard that became tense, contracting the tension shown by Graciella.

"I'll call you with a video call, go where no one else can see you" Adrian said. It soon replaced it with video calling.

Graciella's hands were shaking. He hesitated whether to answer or not. He did not want to answer the call for fear that it was just a trap from Adrean.

But what if it's true? What if he was with his son? Adrean could have handed his son over to someone else and his son is still alive. How'this?

"Gracies? what's up?" Laura asked who was confused as to why Graciella looked so anxious.

"I would do anything to meet him. Why?"

"Even if he just wants to set me up?"

"I'll keep doing it. I don't know if it will happen again or not. That's worth a try." Laura gave an answer according to her point of view.

Graciella nodded in understanding. He walked right into the bathroom, probably locked it and answered a phone call from Adrean. Laura's voice faintly called out Graciella's name from outside.

Graciella's eyes widened until her mouth opened which she immediately closed with her palm because she saw what was plastered on Laura's cellphone screen. Her tears just flow. Quickly wet his white cheeks.

"Come, call Mama!" adrean said he asked a two-year-old boy with a face so cute his face was like a photocopy of Graciella when he was little. Her hair is black and curls on the bottom. His cheeks are full like Pao's. Her smile was completely similar to Graciella's. He waved at the mobile phone, right now he was inside the lap of Adrean.

"Mama!" His words are not very clear. Graciella smiled as she cried. Finally she could feel what it was like to cry in happiness.

"Yes? It's mama! It's mama! What's your name, baby?" Graciella said with a hoarse voice and nasal because her nose was already watery due to crying.

"Moila," said cedal.

"Moira, his name is Moira, meaning destiny," Adrean takes over the video call again. Greciella just smiled happily. A good name, he thought.

"I won't force you to come here, but I'm sure you'll come willingly. If you want to meet him. Come alone, you know where we are? Moira, say goodbye to mama," said Adrean with a sly smile floating. Graciella knew that it was not a sincere word even though Adrean said it softly. It even felt like a word of victory because he knew that Greciella would not be able to resist this.

"Pai Mama," said Moira obediently. Once again Adrean showed a sly smile of his victory. The call was turned off unilaterally by Adrean even though Graciella still wanted to see Moira's funny face. He did not want the call to be interrupted.

A message appeared on Laura's phone.

"You know I can easily hurt him. Therefore, it is better not to tell anyone anything. Hurry up or I'll make you part with your daughter again, and I'll make sure this time is forever."

Graciella's eyes grew completely again, this time along with her frightened face. He couldn't possibly let Adrean bring his daughter back or at worst he would hurt his little daughter. Nah! Graciella has already lost two years of her daughter's life. He doesn't want to lose her again, especially forever.
