Kendrick is a shield

The sound of gunfire, the smell of gunpowder smoke also fishy blood smelled. Everyone was silent in place. The sound of the gunfire was real, the police and Diego and Marco looked at each other. Who was shot.

Blood was dripping on the floor, it was red, it was even soiling Kendrick and Elizabeth's clothes.

As if dreaming was scary, Kendrick sacrificed his life for him. Two shots were fired at Elizabeth in her head. The world came dark, nature seemed to laugh at him because it had run away from Kendrick. If anything happens to Kendrick, Elizabeth will never forgive herself.

Elizabeth shook Kendrick's body, no reaction. Kendrick still left a smile. This time the smile was bitter. Elizabeth did not remember anything else, she fainted unconscious.

The sound of an ambulance broke the silence of the night. The strong and strong Kendrick is now helpless. Dropped weakly with some plunder stuck in his body, the ambulance sped up, with the accompaniment of the vehicle following behind. Elizabeth accompanied Kendrick, her hands clenched Kendrick's fingers without letting go.

His crying broke the darkness of the night. There was fear in him.

"Kendrick don't die just yet, I haven't punished you! You promised me you'd raise our son together." Elizabeth's heartbreaking words. Ambulance officers did not dare to forbid, they were busy with his medical equipment.

The ambulance entered a large hospital in the east, with nurses and doctors quickly lowering the gurney and pushing Kendrick's body into the emergency room.

"Whether the madam waits outside, we will do our best for the senator." The nurse assured. Elizabeth wept, Diego approached her and hugged, calming Elizabeth. Diego rubbed Elizabeth's back lovingly, for a moment there was calm there, at least her brother had given her support.

"Don't be afraid, just pray that Kendrick will get a cure." Diego told his sister.

Elizabeth could not calm down, as long as the doctor was operating on Kendrick, she changed positions several times.

The operation had been going on for two hours, the emergency room door was still sealed shut.

"Elizabeth!" Call Julia from the opposite direction. Elizabeth turned her head around looking for the source of the voice.

"Julia how's Leyton doing?" Elizabeth asked impatiently.

"He's improving." Julia answered worriedly. Elizabeth was crying in Julia's arms. Fear of losing Leyton and Kendrick. As Julia's best friend can only comfort and soothe. Elizabeth asked Leyton about his current condition.

Then Julia told me how Matheo could find Leyton.

At first Matheo and Julia look for a hiding place and go undercover. Matheo went to the locals to ask about the activities in Jade's mansion. Residents around said that in fact the house has a cellar. And the warehouse was disguised as a lush lush wild plant in the kitchen.

But Julia reassured Elizabeth that Leyton's condition had improved, showing a recording of the vidio, where it was seen Matheo and Leyton were clutching despite an intravenous needle attached to Leyton's hand.

Hearing the story of Julia and Vidio that he saw, Elizabeth was sad and moved. She felt like a stupid mother, unable to be the shield Kendrick is doing right now.

"Julia, thanks. You were the only one who was good to me all along. In the next life you will be my brother." They both hugged. Diego saw it with a sense of wonder, he used to like Julia, but the condition of his body does not allow to express his feelings. Diego is much better now, but Matheo is next to Julia. Diego can only witness happiness to both.

Julia's presence made Elizabeth's heart a little calm. The operating room luck light turned red, already four hours of time had passed.

Diego comes back from the hospital canteen, he brings two warm drinks to be given to Elizabeth and Julia.

"You drink." Looking at Elizabeth's anxious and pale face, Diego was heartless. But Elizabeth only held the glass without any intention of drinking it.
