The Love of the Handsome Spirit

The Love of the Handsome Spirit
29. Tired of Fakes!

Ana, that's how she's been greeted. Arfiana Rulita Wahyu, a 16-year-old high school teenager. A chatty, jolly girl who often boasts of her parents. The girl who was born from among the people, her parents are a PNS. His mother was a midwife in a well-known hospital and his father was a police chief.

Right now Ana was contemplating on the balcony of her room, many times she let out a rough sigh. Ana feels her life is so bland, she has no friends other than her parents and older brother.

Last time he had a sincere friend in 9th grade Junior High, but unfortunately his friend moved out of town following his parents. At this High School, Ana has no sincere friends, all her friends just want to be friends because of her parents' property.

The girl finished her contemplation, she closed the balcony door that was the separation between her room and the balcony. He threw a body in his favorite bed.

"I can't keep going, I'm tired of all the fake stuff" he said, staring at the ceiling.

Ana gets up from her bed, and leaves the room. Footsteps lead him to the living room, where his family is gathering. The girl then sat down on the sofa next to Ervan. Brother Ana.

"What's the matter Ana? Why are you pouting like that?" ask Mr. Budi when he saw his youngest daughter down.

Ana raised a face expectantly. "I want something, can you grant it?" asked Ana to the father carefully.

Ervan pinched his sister's nose. "Don't joke, Ana! Our father is rich, whatever you ask will be granted" Ervan said.

Ana looked at Ervan as if. "Don't pinch my nose, it will be itchy because it is pinched with my sister" said Ana while rubbing the nose of Ervan's former pinch.

Mr. Budi responded to his daughter's request in a friendly manner, "Of course my daughter. What do you want?"

Not that she immediately replied, but Ana instead looked at her parents.

"Speak, Honey. We don't know what you want, if you just stare at us begging like that" Ana's mother Gina said. She doesn't know what her daughter wants, if Ana stays quiet.

After a long silence Ana finally made a sound. "I want to change schools, Dad," he said after breathing in.

Ana's successful statement made the three people who were nearby shocked. "Why would you want to change schools? Weren't you comfortable with your school, is there a problem?" ask Mr. Budi casually.

Ana drew up a sentence in her brain before she told her parents. "Emm, I want to have a friend, Dad. All my friends at school just want to be friends with me because I'm Dad's son, I want to have sincere friends regardless of who I am and where I come from" he said at length, hoping the two understood.

"Don't you have a lot of friends, Livia and Calista just played here yesterday, right?" asked Gina, she was astonished by her daughter's statement.

"True, they are my friends. But I want to really have a true friend, not necessarily just want to show off treasures, luxurious lifestyle alone. I also want to talk about many things with my friends, not just wealth. So, can you grant my request?" said Ana.

Ervan who saw his father nodded straight up the apoplexy. "What the fuck is this dad? Ervan does not agree, after all the school where we have been good, the facilities are adequate. What if your friends find out that if you move to a worse school, they'll make fun of me. Just change your request!" said Ervan in a high tone.

"Geturv! Don't be like that to your sister!" reprimand Pak Budi to his eldest son.

"I don't care! They want to taunt me, scorn, insult, please! I don't care!" said Ana with emphasis on her last sentence.

"You're embarrassing me, Ana! Do you want to lower our family's self-esteem, Ana? We are rich, you know that. If your new school is bad, they will assume that you are no longer able to finance you, which means you are poor. Where'd you put this face, Ana?" said sarcastic.

"Enough, Ervan!" snapped Mr. Budi, while Ana had a small sob in Gina's arms. Ana did not expect to get such a response from her sister.

The brother who loved her could talk like that just because of wealth and self-esteem. What the fuck? Ana slaps her sister's mouth, but she still remembers her parents.

"It looks like you need to adapt to the person who is below us, even trying in their position, Ervan! I'll transfer you to public school with your sister, while you look after her.

"Life is not about wealth and self-esteem, but also about respecting others. We are human beings and human nature as social beings, no matter how high the position of human beings, must also need the help of their neighbors. No man can live alone without the intervention of his neighbor, neither can Father. One day, you will need their help too. Now you better get in the room!" said Mr. Budi.

"But, Yeah ... Ervan ga—"

"Get in the room, Ervan!" cut Mr. Budi.

Ervan finally went and entered his room, while Mr. Budi came to his wife and daughter who were hugging.

"Ana ...," call Mr. Budi softly. The girl hurriedly wiped her tears and looked at the father with a smile.

Mr. Budi rubbed his daughter's head fondly. "Dad will take care of your transfer papers and your brother so you can go back to school the day after tomorrow. Now you better get in the room, too. Tomorrow is the last day you enter your old school" said Mr. Budi.

Anna hugged her father immediately. "Thank you, Dad," he said.

Pak Budi returned his daughter's embrace and then kissed the top of her head. "Together, my dear."

Gina smiled at the princess and her husband. Pak Budi and Ana let go of their embrace. Ana kisses the cheeks of her parents and follows in the footsteps of her brother who has entered the room first.
