The 21st century
A beautiful young lady with a pale body lay still on the bed. His body was full of wires which were life support machines. At the end of the bed, the details of the woman's heartbeat are displayed on the monitor. There is no doubt that the woman was Lan You Nian whom we now call Liu Wei.
In the patient chart, it is mentioned that he is in a coma due to lack of oxygen. Liu Wei was found by a friend when his friend visited his house. Song Jia Yi tried to wake him up but he was not moved at all.
Song Jia Yi immediately shouted for help and that was how Liu Wei was treated in the hospital. Doctors could not diagnose his illness because he was healthy.
Her mother, Mrs Chen has been taking care of her daughter since her first day in the hospital. He could not stop praying for his daughter. He regretted not checking if he ate well or not.
Suddenly, a small gesture distracted Madam Chen.it was Liu Wei's hand gesture. He thought he was imagining something but when his finger moved again Madam Chen was surprised. Is his daughter finally conscious?
" Wei Wei!" Madam Chen exclaimed. He pressed the button to call the doctor.
His eyes opened very slowly. His whole body felt numb. He's feeling very tired. Liu Wei could hear someone calling him.But he didn't pay attention to him.
He tried his best to open his eyes. His eyelids were open but the brightness of the light of the lamp dazzled him. He closed his eyes quickly before he tried to open them again.
A doctor and two nurses entered the room. The doctor took some equipment to check it. The doctor was one of his seniors. He took out his flashlight pen. The main purpose of the flashlight was to assess Liu wei's response.
A bright light suddenly illuminated his eyes making him squirm a little. His pupils were moving away from the light.
" I'll check it out further. But we have to thank God he finally woke up from a coma. " The Doctor said to Ms. Chen.
" Thank you doctor! thank you doctor! " Mistress Chen bowed many times.
" water.. " He spoke in a hoarse tone.he felt very thirsty.
Madam Chen rushed to pour water into a small glass for her daughter. Put a straw in it to make it easier to drink it.
" Mom.. Why am I in the hospital? "
While her mother was talking to her senior, she had time to access the surroundings. And he realized that he was in the hospital.
Her mother explained everything in a simple way so that she did not hurt her mind. Indeed, he could not remember anything except the last time he remembered was that he fell asleep after reading a book.
' How did I end up here? And why my heart hurts so much. '
Liu Wei felt very uncomfortable holding onto his chest, pain assaulting him. His eyes were throbbing with many flowing tears. Why does he feel like this? is it because he's in a coma?
He ignored her condition as he felt his pain lessen. Pretend that it's okay when her mother comforts her. He hugged his mother tightly.
" I Miss You Mom. " Switched slowly

" You..! how can you make me feel so worried like that?!" His best friend, Song Jia Yi shouted at him.
It's been a week since he got out of the hospital. But Jia Yi could not leave her job so she had no choice but to wait. And today he visited Liu Wei in his dorm.
Madam Chen insisted on taking care of her until she completely recovered. But Liu Wei refused because she felt troubled. He also feels better so he can take care of himself.
" I'm fine. "
" You're in a coma and you're saying okay now?! " Jia Yi held onto Liu Wei's arm.
" Jia Yi there's something I want to ask you." Liu Wei suddenly grabbed onto Jia Yi's arm and he was shocked.
" Is it normal to feel sad after waking up from a coma? I mean, it's like really heartbreaking. Like.. very sad? " Liu Wei tried to explain further about her emotions.
Jia Yi looked at him in a strange way. He felt that Liu Wei looked different from before. The way he spoke also changed a little. A little more formal.
" I'm not so sure about that. But maybe you are different?. " Jia Yi replied doubtfully. Hearing his reply, Liu Wei sat back on his bed. Maybe he's right.
...----------------...
Two months later.
Time seems to pass so quickly. Liu Wei lived her life as before. But still the feeling of longing for someone is still there.
No matter how much he tried to enjoy his life, it seemed impossible. Every night he slept with tears. The strangest thing was that the tears came out naturally and he would feel pain in the heart area.
When she tried to check up at the hospital, her senior said there was nothing wrong with her. So she gives up, she just faces her new lifestyle until she discovers the real problem.
Today he visited the library he last visited before the incident. Every time he passed by the library, he felt the urge to visit the place again.
And today he had some free time so he took the opportunity to borrow some books. He tried to pick the book, and his finger stuck to a book.
Pulling her out, she was quite surprised. It was a book he had read before. Jia Yi had helped him to return the book. But he had not expected to see the book in the row of medical books.
Someone must have put it wrong. He walked towards the book section of the novel, when he wanted to put the book down. A piece of paper came off the book.
Liu Wei then looked to the right and then to the left, asking if there was anyone who had the paper. But the paper looks very old. He tried to open it with his heart, there was a writing written using ink. Calligraphy ink.
Miss you..
This is the only sentence written on the paper. But that word reemerged the memories and feelings that had been chasing Liu Wei all along.
His heart was broken when he saw the book cover. There he is, the man who comes to his dream every time he sleeps. Suddenly he let out a heartbreaking sobbing that made his heart ache even more.
Memories of him flew throughout his memories. He could not help the pain in his heart anymore and he fell to the floor in a pile of random books as sadness flowed downhill with tears flowing uncontrollably.
" I'm sorry.. " He muttered those words with a sobbing sound as he hugged the book in his chest.
" I'm so sorry I left you alone..." She was still crying and she covered her face with her other hand.
His body trembled with grief, he wept over their fate. He could not imagine how he handled his own feelings. A huge tremor took over him, his eyes swollen with trembling lips.
" I miss you too.I'm sorry.. " His throat tightened and his breathing shortened.
An unknown woman approached him asking if he was okay. But he doesn't care. How he could live without remembering.
' Why would you let me live if you'd let me live in the immense pain of living in this world without him! ' Liu Wei mentally shouted at his creator.
It would be better if he died than if he forgot about it and continued to live as if nothing had happened.
His head suddenly felt pain because suddenly forced to remember previous memories. He let the pain take over him and he fainted there hugging the book.
Everyone suddenly panicked. Call an ambulance or anyone who knows him. The doctor came to check his pulse and found that he was no more.
