Chapter 45

The 21st century

A beautiful young lady with a pale body lay still on the bed. His body was full of wires which were life support machines. At the end of the bed, the details of the woman's heartbeat are displayed on the monitor. There is no doubt that the woman was Lan You Nian whom we now call Liu Wei.

In the patient chart, it is mentioned that he is in a coma due to lack of oxygen. Liu Wei was found by a friend when his friend visited his house. Song Jia Yi tried to wake him up but he was not moved at all.

Song Jia Yi immediately shouted for help and that was how Liu Wei was treated in the hospital. Doctors could not diagnose his illness because he was healthy.

Her mother, Mrs Chen has been taking care of her daughter since her first day in the hospital. He could not stop praying for his daughter. He regretted not checking if he ate well or not.

Suddenly, a small gesture distracted Madam Chen.it was Liu Wei's hand gesture. He thought he was imagining something but when his finger moved again Madam Chen was surprised. Is his daughter finally conscious?

" Wei Wei!" Madam Chen exclaimed. He pressed the button to call the doctor.

His eyes opened very slowly. His whole body felt numb. He's feeling very tired. Liu Wei could hear someone calling him.But he didn't pay attention to him.

He tried his best to open his eyes. His eyelids were open but the brightness of the light of the lamp dazzled him. He closed his eyes quickly before he tried to open them again.

A doctor and two nurses entered the room. The doctor took some equipment to check it. The doctor was one of his seniors. He took out his flashlight pen. The main purpose of the flashlight was to assess Liu wei's response.

A bright light suddenly illuminated his eyes making him squirm a little. His pupils were moving away from the light.

" I'll check it out further. But we have to thank God he finally woke up from a coma. " The Doctor said to Ms. Chen.

" Thank you doctor! thank you doctor! " Mistress Chen bowed many times.

" water.. " He spoke in a hoarse tone.he felt very thirsty.

Madam Chen rushed to pour water into a small glass for her daughter. Put a straw in it to make it easier to drink it.

His body trembled with grief, he wept over their fate. He could not imagine how he handled his own feelings. A huge tremor took over him, his eyes swollen with trembling lips.

" I miss you too.I'm sorry.. " His throat tightened and his breathing shortened.

An unknown woman approached him asking if he was okay. But he doesn't care. How he could live without remembering.

' Why would you let me live if you'd let me live in the immense pain of living in this world without him! ' Liu Wei mentally shouted at his creator.

It would be better if he died than if he forgot about it and continued to live as if nothing had happened.

His head suddenly felt pain because suddenly forced to remember previous memories. He let the pain take over him and he fainted there hugging the book.
