The Love of the Captain

The Love of the Captain
Tores is back, again,

Chery's face looked tense, as she entered the meeting room at the hotel she had deliberately rented for a press conference about her conditional freedom from the case.

The actual room is very spacious and can accommodate hundreds of guests it now feels crowded, journalists various media both from print media, and media, television and online scramble forward to find the front position so that it can highlight the face of the artist clearly.

Being the center of attention for many pairs of eyes has indeed become a common thing for Chery, but now everything is becoming as if different, hundreds of pairs of eyes as if looking at it in a different way, as if, if usually their view is a worshipful view, in contrast to the current view they are judgmental, looking at Chery as if he is a dangerous enemy of society.

Especially when he saw the figure of Arjuna who had been present and sat in a row of speaker chairs, Chery's heart was increasingly chaotic, because instead of the presence of Arjuna was suspected to make him calmer even more vice versa, because next to Arjuna sat sweetly Ines accompanied the man who had not been aware of him staring at Chery until he forgot how to blink.

I don't know what Arjuna meant to bring Ines to the event tonight, when clearly Ines had nothing to do and no interest at all in this press conference.

"Tores?" Arjuna raised his eyebrows one day when he saw Tores walking behind Cheri and placed Chery to the right of Arjuna, so that the position of Arjuna is currently flanked by Chery and Ines who sit on his left (The welfare is indeed the Tores).

"Night Ndan, long time no see," Tores said respectfully. "His wife is taken care of Ndan, later on the handsome lawyer, you know!" Tores bowed and whispered in Arjuna's ear, reminding Arjuna that she had been married to Chery while on the island.

Of course Tores knows who Ines is and what his relationship with arjuna is today, which is why the dark man said it in a whisper so that others would not listen to him.

But Arjuna could only sit still and reach for the bottle of mineral water in front of him, his throat suddenly dry after hearing Tores's words just now, even when accidentally the tip of his eye caught Chery's pretty face, she reflected back on how hot their kiss was.

The event went well, questions and answers from Sean as a lawyer and Arjuna as a police representative were also able to satisfy the questions of journalists who were always hungry for sensational news.

But at the end of the event, and when everyone broke up, a group of people came into the room and threw rotten eggs and tomatoes at Chery while cursing, make the atmosphere become boisterous and chaotic, instead of saving Ines who was also the target of throwing eggs and rotten tomatoes, because both are in front, because they are both in front, Arjuna instead cradled Chery's body and took her away from there through the chaos that occurred in the room.

"Here!" tores yelled at the open elevator, code Arjuna and Chery to follow in her footsteps.

"Tores, whose room is this?" chery asked as Tores led them to one of the rooms in the hotel.

"I deliberately opened this room to anticipate, in an emergency like this can be used, right. Since it's impossible to get out of the hotel, your assailants could have been more there." Tores.

Arjuna stared at Chery and Tores in turn.

"Ah, I forgot to tell you, Tores is my bodyguard now, thanks for saving me, but in the future you don't have to bother anymore, there are Tores who take care of me. Oh yeah, shouldn't you save Ines? Your lover must be scared in there." Chery said that suddenly remembered Ines who was left by Arjuna because the man preferred to save himself.

"I saw the lady saved, lawyer, earlier." Tores.

"Save Sean? But where are they?" Chery frowned, but Tores only shrugged her shoulders.

"Ready, your wife is safe with me, Ndan!" Tores saluted Arjuna who came out of the room unceremoniously at Chery who turned towards the grim Tores.

"Tores, don't say that, I'm not good. Arjuna has a girlfriend, don't let him fuss over your bullshit." Chery protests as Arjuna leaves the room.

"What empty egg? Aren't you a customary husband and wife" replied Tores cuek.

"Come, it's over, me and Arjuna it's impossible, there's a lot of impossible between the two of us, let alone me destroying her love and happiness with Luna, she said, I made her fail to marry and be happy with her true love." Look at Chery with a sad face.

"True love? Why do I feel that you are the true love of the real commander, it's just that you didn't know each other earlier and even though you met at the worst times of your lives, but the seeds of love are still growing among the ruins of your heart, do you not realize that God is trying to unite you through this great test?"

"Ishh, long time no see you're getting better at talking apparently," Chery smiled bitterly, and tried to avoid the chatter about her and Arjuna that felt even more to make his heart seem to be slashed with pain.

There is nothing wrong with all the words of Tores, all the possibilities that Tores thinks it could have a point, just that Chery does not want to be too overwhelmed in a possibility, just that, because more certainty is needed for now.

Half an hour passed, the doorbell of the hotel room rang, when it opened, Arjuna, Ines and Sean were there, they rushed in.

"You guys all right?" ask Chery,

"Of course the commander is fine, miss-you're too underestimating the commander's ability." Sambar Tores who understands if Chery's current concern is the state of Arjuna.

"Did you not pass the Indonesian language lessons? Obviously I asked them how they were, I used YOUR word, it means the three of them!" Chery finally nyolot because Ines looked at her with a questionable and unpleasant gaze due to the speech of Tores who was always flat-faced without sin despite having said words that almost provoked chaos.

"Haisshh, right my mamak said, a weapon people feel wrong it will gas, nyolot like this." Tores' index finger is even now pointing towards Chery whose face turned red with anger and shame mixed into one due to Tores's ravings, likewise with Arjuna who is now wrong to see the debate between Tores and Chery who fuss about him, he said, moreover, Ines is now staring questioningly at him as if asking for an explanation of what he just heard.

"Here you go, don't listen to that ridiculous Bodyguard babble," realizing that things were going bad, Sean finally spoke up, glaring at the still-relaxed Tores with a soda can in his hand.

"If you feel uncomfortable, how about I open another room for you, would you agree?" sean told Arjuna and Ines he didn't want to be in an awkward mood and didn't wear this much longer, while it looks like they will remain in the room until the early hours or maybe until the morning to avoid journalists and people who are still huddling and waiting for Chery in front of the hotel.

"No-yes" Arjuna and Ines answered in unison, but unfortunately with a different answer, if Ines agreed and agreed to open another room with his lover, arjuna refuses and chooses to remain in the same room with Chery and the others, though the others are not so important to Arjuna, because actually he also does not want to leave Chery one room with Sean without supervision himself.

"We're gonna stay here, don't you mind, Tores? There's a lot I want to talk to you about." Arjuna said to Tores, considering that Tores had at the beginning said that this room he rented it, so Arjuna asked Tores' permission and approval to stay in the room.

"Of course, we could play cards all night to kill boredom, like that time at the police station, miss still remember, right? Who at the time of the night came to pick up, but pretended to take the file behind?" oceh Tores again seemed to be dissatisfied making Arjuna and Chery feel embarrassed and unwell with Ines and Sean who were also in the room and only became a loyal listener of the Tores story which of course they do not understand at all what is the topic of Tores' conversation.
